Special Chapter

Fang Sanctuary

The mere gaze of her is the happiness of me. The mere sound of her giggle is the fanciest for me. The sight of her is the life I am living.

"Andrues!" I heard her called me out from afar. A smile instantly plastered at my lips upon hearing her voice calling my name.

I stood up and looked to where her voice was coming. In a little span of time, she stood in front of me with a beautiful smile.

"Hmm?" I inquired. She shook her head and sat at the tree trunk. She closed her eyes as she inhale a large amount of air.

"This place haven't change," she commented as she let out a deep sigh. I nodded, even if she can't see me from her back. I walked towards where she was sitting, and sat down with her.

"Do you still remember how we met?" I uttered as I was looking far beyond my eyes could reach. She looked at me with her embarrassed smile.

"Oh, please." She responded as she let out a laugh. I grimaced.

"I want to be a princess but they always see me as a monster!" I mimicked her tone, back then when she was in state of emotional breakdown, decades ago.

"Stop it," she warned as she looked at me sharply. I made a face.

"Okay. You're such a hot-tempered, young lady." I responded instead and chuckled as I messed up her hair. She frowned and went away from me as she was fixing her messed up hair. I grinned while she was looking at me with daggers.

"How annoying," she mumbled. I couldn't contain my laughter the moment I saw how she easily got annoy.

Among all the enemies that I had, Shivana is the one that I love fighting with. She's strong, wise, and beautiful. Among all of those ladies that flocks around me, Shivana is the only woman I desire.

"Shivana, when time would come, who would you marry?" I asked after the silence between us. She rolled her eyes at me as she pointed her index finger at someone.

"You," she responded. Her respond seems mindless and less given of her thought yet my heart swelled instantly and even got feel deeply.

Shivana, she came from a family of ruler. With her father as the great leader, and her mother reigned as the mother-of-battle. As the two great vampires mated, and turned into one, the most beautiful and strong vampire was born that was known to soar higher than her parents. And indeed, she became the ruler of the moon.

She's the goddess of all vampires, and wolves. She's the enemy of the witches, and the one who mates beings. She lives at the brightest light in the sky, she owns the moon. She was the Goddess of the Moon.

"Shivana, if the future will then come, whom you'll be marrying?" I asked with a pounding heart. Her sailor boat was then waiting for her to step in, and I dared to asked her this question if her answer will still the same.

She smiled and pointed her index finger at me.

"You," she responded in a very soft and gentle tone, as she was looking deeply at my eyes.

Vampires' hearts are lifeless yet it always beats, more than the human's heartbeats when they were in love.

I nodded at her as I pursed my lips. I stretched my arms, and toiled her hair.

"I'll keep your words forever. It's me, Shivana." I uttered. She nodded and patted my shoulder before she turned her back at me and went towards the sailor boat.

And, the day after that... she was reigned as the Goddess of the Moon.

She was too busy to keep in touch with, and she was way more too far to come to.

Many and long years had passed, and all I did was to stare at her bright. Her home becomes brighter every time I think of her. None of those stars could even snatch my attention, to begin with.

In this lifetime, she is my mate. She's the reason why my heart limps.

And, in this lifetime, she's mine. All I wanted is her. And, with all of me; I'd make sure no one could keep her.

"You've gone too far waiting for your love to return without knowing that she is stepping her feet on the same ground that you trace."

I rose up from my bed with a racing heartbeat. Beads of sweat all over my forehead were forming, as I could feel my hands trembling.

The goddess showed herself. It was a cue of something that might happen yet, I neglected it.

Every sleepless nights, I spent watching her from afar. I would think, that my eyes were playing with me when I saw the moon twinkle.

After every nightmare, I'd watch her home. Thinking how does she was living all alone.

"Stop looking up, surely she'll fall back. The moment of truth is coming in short time."

"Try looking for her and you'll find her waiting for someone, her heart's been searching."

The goddess voice were like whispering at my ears. Those dreams of unfamiliar places, and a woman wearing a hooded fabric.

"Try looking for her and you'll find her waiting for someone her heart's been searching."

Every nights that goddess would show up. She'd take me to places where the woman with hooded fabric were.

Every night my dreams were the same. In my dreams, I'll just watch the woman behind the trunk while she was standing, waiting. It was all the same, and even if I’d sleep for three days... no one would come.

"Tonight, she'll fall hard. Tonight, he'll come." The goddess said, and put me behind the trunk.

"Tonight she'll find what was her heart been searching. Tonight, she'll be the happiest. Tonight she'll see her mate."

Despite the goddess soothing and calm voice, I felt like my hearing got despaired. M-Mate?!

"The Legend's Descendant, was her bright too blinding? You had gone too far watching her from afar, it has been too long for you to touch her. The legend's descendant, how fool have you been?"

"Shivana~" I wanted to utter, and call her name yet I cannot move my mouth. I tried moving my feet to run towards her yet, I was stuck. I tried closing my eyes yet, it was too vivid to see her kissing the guy, whom her mate.

"Shivana, without you I am just a broken piece. I am just a half of nothing. Take me, I'll forever be waiting." A man vowed with his kneeled knee.

I rose up from my bed, feeling breathless.

And, at that night... I ought to forever keep her. With the feeling of rage, betrayal, anguish, and sorrow, I opted to kill everyone who'd keep her.

And, even after my death, I'll make sure that none of them can keep her. She's mine, and with my dark smoke... she'll be the breeze of lonely wind.

My love for her were burning fiery. Alike with raging flames.

And with the dark smoke, she'll be burn.
