After dinner, Mu accompanied me to my room before retiring to his own.
“Good night, my lady. I hope you have pleasant dreams.” His smile and the spark in his eyes were pure temptations.
“You too, my lord. See you tomorrow?”
“Most certainly.”
He didn’t retreat, nor did I want him to, so instead I said, “What is our plan for tomorrow?”
“I planned to take us out for a walk, and to see if we can find ourselves an adventure.” He winked.
“Well then, we better rest up. We don’t want to be all sleepy tomorrow.” My hands fell on his chest because I intended to push him back but instead, a pregnant pause came over us.
We stared into each other’s eyes, lost to the world. I felt my heart pump faster in my chest as his hands rested on my hips while the staring contest continued.
I opened my mouth to say something, but my voice died in my lips when his eyes dropped to them.
