“Aaah! The crisp mountain air. Isn’t it invigorating?”
I wanted to kick Mu in the shin, or somewhere equally hurtful. Unfortunately, I was too busy shivering and trying to prevent my teeth from cutting my tongue clean off.
To my right, Arthur appeared on the same boat; his hands rubbing his chest and arms in an attempt to stave off the offending cold.
Curiously enough, Aramis didn’t seem even a bit affected, despite wearing a dress with no cape.
“I totally agree, Your Grace. The weather is wonderful,” the golden-haired maid said.
Mu nodded with a wide smile. “Too true, my lady. Too true.”
I mocked his words under my breath and would have done more had his arm not fallen on top of my shoulders, staving off the cold and providing me with a much-needed heat like that of a warm blanket, as he pulled me closer to his frame where my trembling subsided altogether.
“Y-you’re enjoying t-this far t-too much,” I grumbled, stuttering despite the heat now coursing through me.
