Chapter six: I THINK HIS GENTLE 1

Lari typed word to word and corrected every error she comes across. And when it was lunch break she was had not covered half of the work given to her. cursing her boss and calling him names like jerk, dumbo, stupid. It took her all day to finish the work and at exactly 5 she was in Henry's office. " sir am done with the work" she said while stretching and just like yesterday she heard him say "dump it in the trash" she couldn't take it anymore so she let it all out not with tears but words "AM SICK AND TIRED OF YOU BEHAVING LIKE THE JERK YOU ARE. I WORK MYSELF OUT JUST FOR YOU TO TELL ME TO DUMP IN THE TRASH? YOU DEPRIVED ME OF MY LUNCH AND YOU JUST EANT ME TO THROW MY HARD WORK AWAY? FOR CRYING OUT LOUD I DIDN'T MEAN TO SOIL YOUR SHOES. STOP ACTING LIKE A CHILD AND GROW UP. AM NOT TAKING YOUR SHIT ANYMORE SO YOU BETTER ADJUST YOURSELF" Lari was panting heavily after she was done talking and Henry was left dumbfounded with her sudden out burst and there was I little fear in his eyes. Clearing his throat he said "Did you forget am your boss and you have to talk to me with respect? and you called me a child. Little lamb no one I mean no one mess with me and goes free, well then I have had a lot nun with you so let bygones be bygones hmm" after saying that he walks out the door to go meet his mother for their dinner date.

Lari was surprises with her tone and at the same time happy that Henry has let the grunge go well she hopes.

At the Restaurant. Henry gets there and meets her mom giving her a kiss on the chick and settling down on a chair. "Oh Hen it's been weeks since I lastly saw you" Henry's mother said while looking at her only child with love "oh mom I know I haven't been fair to you and dad but I promise to make it up to you guyz. I'll Mame things up I promise me"

"if you really want to make things up then get married already you not getting younger and so am I and u need to carry my grand kids before laying down to rest. your 28years old Hen when will you settle down? when your fifty?"

"uh here we go again with that topic, mom I don't need a wife am happy being single and I don't even like kids they are a liability and women are just parasites"

"your going to regrate this decision of yours when you get older am telling you. You will wish to have what others have and that's a family of your own"

"well till then, uh let's forget about this. so how us dad? hope his taking care of you and not just working?"

"yes he is. he us fine and Taking care of me just fine. The stayed there taking about normal stuff until it was time to live. Henry goes home take a quick shower and decided to calk his friend Anthony out for a drink. "Hello Tony let go grab come drinks"

"hey dude alright I can use some alcohol. Meet me at our usual bye" after the calk Henry dressed up to go meet his only friend Anthony when he got there he was giving access to the club with no glitch since he is a regular and paying customer.

"hihihihi you look a zombie" thats the first thing Lari heard even she got home from work "tell me about it. my boss is an asshole making me do this paper work just yo dump it in the trash again"

"wow. OK let's go get some drinks so you can you know forget about your jerky boss"

"oh come on let's go OK drinks are on me"

"you should have said that a long time ago let me go get ready" running off to her room she heard Abby yelling "cheap you" giggling she enters her room to get ready. She wore a red body hugging gown showing off what God created, alk her curves, The gown is just above her knees, with hill black hills to match. Doing some light make up and she was done. stepping out she saw Abby wearing a v-neck black gown showing off some cleavage and curves, paring it with white hills, wearing little make up. after checking each other out, they went of to have some fun and forget about 'Henry' well will see about that. stepping into the club with the loud music and populated dance floor they managed pass through the pop to the counter. "I want a cocktail, mix me something good" Abby requested. "I want same" said Lari. while waiting for their drink Abby and Lari stood and talked about the people at the dance floor. meanwhile somewhere inside this same club Henry and Anthony were sitting at the VIP corner WS I thing for their drinks and the waiter is taking forever to come. "let me just go to the counter and place are request" Anthony said and Henry just nodded "dude can you imagine what we asked for is finish? let's head down" Henry just gave a bored look and wakes up to follow Anthony. "Scotch" this time it was Henry who requested for them.

Lari and Abby where talking when she heard "scotch" she paused and then slightly praying in her heart *please don't be him, please don't be him. oh God anyone but him* turning around she was looking at Henry who was yet to see her and Abby she was about walking away when the bartender yell "miss your drink" smiling awkwardly at the bartender she collects their drinks a gives Abby hers Henry was still to notice just as she was about to go to the dance floor the guy standing with Henry had to call Abby"hey miss in black can you excuse me please" and Henry turn to look at the girl Anthony was calling and she was standing next to Lari. looking at Lari and the dress she wore, he stood in daze and just stare finally having a crib on his senses he snaps out of his thought. Anthony walks up to Abby stretch forth his hand for a handshake "hi am Anthony and you are..?"

"what do you want sir?" Abby replied shocking both Henry and Anthony. "I just want us to talk miss"

"about what? look I have to go and my friend is waiting for me. I can't keep her waiting" While all the blabbering of Abby Anthony keeps going on, Lari's head was down well that was until Henry walk up to her. "hi" he said like he didn't torture her today at work "hello" she replied putting on her best make up smiles. "so you have money to come to a clubs and drink but you don't have money to buy me a new pair of shoe?" Henry suddenly said making her give him a look which says When are you going to grow up? " hey don't give me that look, I was just asking. " Abby suddenly drags Lari take her to the dance floor. "hey hey watch it, what's wrong with you" Lari asked Abby pulling her hands from Abby's grip "I had Anthony I swear"

"why what happen i mean apart from the fact that his friends with Henry I think his a great guy. I mean his gentle and all. well he looks gentle." Lari said taking a sip of her drink

"we'll i believe any guy who sees a girl at a club and wants to ask her out is a player. i mean a club were people just come to act like you know, no one is watching" Abby argues

"your theory is Lame, just say your still holding on to what Rex did"

"no am not, just don't like club guys you know..... I need a drink my glass is empty" Abby said heading to the counter but stopped when she heard Lari saying "Uh uh miss we both know that your alcohol level is low. just two glass of anything will make you talk gibberish"

"am strong I can handle it" Abby replied

"we'll there goes my fun" Lari walked up to where Abby is goes she knows she will need help anytime from now. "scotch please"Abby requested. "great of all the drinks she chose to have scotch" Lari lamented. And just as expected just as she drank the scotch she loose her balance and was saying incoherent words. "Lari Rex was....., I need more drinks."she yelled "you need help handling her"Lari heard, turning around she sees that its Anthony talking "yes please, that's if it's no trouble for you"

Henry was taking his drink while listening to the nonsense Anthony is saying about Abby "dude, I really like that girl. You know its like love at first sight and this feeling is genuine". Henry just gave him a blank look and later Shown him out and focus himself with the one person on his mine 'Lari who looks amazing tonight.
