Chapter 7: I Think He Is Gentle 2

Standing by the counter not moving up to the VIP room were they came from. Henri watch Lari sway her perfect hips to the tune of the music, memorized by her dance move. Suddenly she stopped dancing with her friend and were talking about something before her friend moved up to the counter just close to were he is standing. "scotch please" he heard her say. Lari walks up to her friend and stands behind and just as her friend finishes her drinks she stumbles but Lari held her. Her friend was saying something about some Rex dude then suddenly asking for more drinks. Lari struggles with her and he was about to help when he heard Anthony saying "may I help" and Lari accepted " yes please that's if it's no trouble" Anthony just smile and said " no its not". The four of them left the club to get Abby home, when they were out of the club, Lari was about to call a taxi when Anthony suggested that they should drop them home but Lari refused. Henry not going to let Lari take a taxi home for some on known reason he just didn't want to let her be on her own so he decided to use his bossy voice "get in the car" Lari wanted to refuse but the look on his face which says am not taking no for and answer made her to swallow her rejection. Lari sat next to Henry who was driving so as to give directions and Abby was with Anthony in the back sit. she was saying some things about her ex and Anthony just didn't like to hear him talk about another guy. Lari noticing the look on Anthony's face told him "don't worry she will pass out soon" Anthony just gave a little smile. Look's like smiling is his thing Lari thought. Lari remember that Abby won't be able to go to work tomorrow cuz she can't handle hangovers. "Anthony could you pass me her phone? check in her bag" after receiving the phone she dialed her boss's number " hello sir, this is Abigail's friend speaking,sir Abby won't be able to come to work tomorrow. she's unwell . yes sir... OK sir...thanks bye" she pass her phone back to Anthony who put it back into her bag. Lari looked at Abby and sigh she absentmindedly asked her friend "oh Abby what should I do to you?" Abby just gave her and innocent look, touching her chin like she was thinking and said "well you can... buy me ice cream, I wouldn't mind".

" is this how she behaves when she's drunk or its her normal behavior" Anthony asked Lari "well yes drunkenness brings out her real self. You know things about herself that she will not show to strangers and even to casual friends. she's childish but I like her child-like character at times and sometimes its annoying" Lari said smiling at Abby who was looking at Henry attentively cuz Henry would steal glances at Lari and smile without even knowing that he is doing it and that Abby is watching him. There was silence in the car well that was before Abby decided to say what was in her mind " Lari I think you boss likes you, yes he likes like you, his being stealing glances at you and smiling. And oh when we were at the club he was staring at you while you dance. hihihi" Lari stared at Abby with wide eyes before turning to Henry

" sir am so sorry about my friend. She just speaks rubbish when she's drunk, please just forget about what she said" surprisingly Henry said " It's okay, I don't mind" while giving a genuine smile. This act made Lari's to skip bit, but in a good way. After some time, just like Lari said Abby felt at sleep on Anthony's shoulder. Tony decided to know more about Abby. But with the attitude she gave him when they were in club, she doubt if she will ever tell him anything about her. So the only option is to ask her friend. "Lari right" Lari just nodded " can please tell me more about your friend" what she likes and hate in a guy, likes and dislikes and her hobbies"

"well am telling you this because I can see your interest in me friend. She likes a guy who will be himself around her and not act like someone else, she likes a guy who will give her his attention and a respectful guy, who works hard and yeah a guy who loves his family. Well she believes a guy who loves his family especially his mom will love her too. Well from what I just said you can figure out what she hates in a guy. about her likes umm she's a foodie so she love anything eatable, her favorite color is pink, she loves stuffed animals and dislikes the color orange. hobbies she loves to dance and sing though she 'chuckles' have a terrible voice. she likes horror movies, action films. She likes watching Disney and nickelodeon too." taking in deep breaths she tells Henry to pull over since they ate in front of her apartment. Which is not big, it just have two rooms and a living room. the kitchen is connected to the dinning area, the living room has three sets of chairs and a table in the middle with a little TV. Taking Abby into her room which was not too big or small for her. It has a little bed close to the window, a reading table, a mirror by the side, a couch and her Waldrop. Her bedroom is painted pink. After taking in the details of her room, Anthony carefully put her in bed, taking off her shoes, he lives the room. Walking them out since the refuse to have a sit and refused to take anything too. outside Lari thank Anthony who said its his pleasure he walks to the car living Henry and Lari alone. Henry surprised Lari by giving her a peck on her chick before going to his car and driving away. Lari stood there shocked and confused by what Henry did. Getting a hold of herself, she concluded that it was the alcohol he took is the reason for his behavior. She decided to call it a night.

Henry was also surprised by his action, hr just couldn't control himself and did what came to his mind. Scolding himself for doing something to a girl he hired just so he could torture her. He absentmindedly touched his lips and smiled, Lari is the third girl he has genuinely kissed on the chick. The first was his mother, second his childhood friend Joan.

The next day, Abby woke up with a terrible headache. Lari entered her room already dressed up for work, giving her the hangover soup that she made, she told her everything that when on yesterday. Abby was embarrassed and well a little angry " I know that jerk Anthony will be laughing at me right now" she said with an angry look on her face. Kissing her on the chick, Lari couldn't help but think about what Henry did yesterday, getting a hold of herself she walks out of the room, stood by the door and said " well not really, I think he us gentle and good for you" Closing the door she walks out of the house heading to work.
