Chapter 63

I woke up and felt disoriented. I peeked through my eyelids, I was on the bed. I hadn't been here when I'd fallen asleep. 'And what happened to FRIENDS?' I got up and walked, a little unsteadily, in the direction of the larger portion of the room.

I looked and saw Raph's silver head on the couch. I put my hand to my mouth and smiled beneath it. "He slept on the couch." I muttered.

I got dressed and when I came out he was still sleeping. I walked up to the couch. He looked even more gorgeous sleeping his eyelashes rested on his pale, high cheekbones and his lips were parted slightly. I was tempted to kiss him on those perfect lips of his, but then I thought about how badly our last kiss had gone.

So I stood behind his head and hovered above it. I took my braid out and let my long, luscious tresses tickle his face.

His gold eyes flickered open and up to mine warmly. He smiled and said, "Good morning."

"Good morning darling." I said endearingly, and gave him a quick peck on the forehead, then swept my long hair back and walked towards the door. I could feel my hair swaying with every step I took.

"I'm gonna go make breakfast."

I called back over my shoulder.

~~~~~~~~
"I'm gonna go make breakfast."
Raphael swallowed, she looked even sexier with her hair swaying along with her hips.
He shook his head, and got up. When she'd woken him up, her scent had been so strong and her beautiful face had been smiling down on him.
He scratched his head and decided that he needed a shower. Once out of the shower he felt refreshed and a little more relaxed. He dressed and walked down to the kitchen.
As he neared the door he heard music. He walked through the open door and saw Brooke dancing to the music while mixing a bowl of batter.
Her hips swayed and her hair was put up in a low, unkempt bun.
He could hear that she was humming along to the music. He walked up behind her and put his hands on her love handles, and rested his head on her shoulder. She stopped dancing and turned her head to look at him.
"Hello." She said with an adorable smile.
He gave her a quick kiss on her cheek then said still holding her, "Hello, you want help with anything?"
"Uh, we'll there's one thing. You don't have sugar."
"Hmm."
"I mean, how can you not have sugar? It's one of the most fundamental ingredients in the world. I borrowed some from Charm, but today, we're going shopping for food."
He chuckled, "Yes, ma'am." and gave her another kiss on her neck, she shivered and he felt her back spasm at the touch. He wanted to trail kisses and nibbles all along her neck if she would do that again.
He closed his eyes and took a step back.
"I'll go tell the boys that breakfast's gonna be ready soon." He said as an excuse to get away.
"Yeah." She whispered.
~~~~~~~~~

My music was playing Imagine Dragon's 'I don't know why' And I have to say, perfect timing.

The line 'You're love is always dangerous!' Played exactly when Raph kissed my neck. My back had arched involuntarily, and I closed my eyes as I felt his hot breath on my neck. I wanted him to kiss me again.

He took his hands off my waist and I felt cold all of a sudden, even though my body temperature was rising.

He said that he would tell the boys that breakfast was almost ready.

I muttered a reply.

I made six pancakes and brought them quietly to Duma's room. I knocked and he said that I could enter, "Hey, buddy." I said holding a plate loaded with pancakes, butter and syrup.

"Hey." He said glumly.

"Good news is, Bradley's leaving so you can come out." I felt so guilty for having to lock him up, but I wouldn't know how to explain Duma's eyes to him.

I left and went back to the kitchen and finished making the pancakes. Bradley arrived first then Mark, then Nathan. Raph arrived last, and I couldn't keep my eyes off him. He looked, well he always looked good, but today, he was just breathtaking.

We all said goodbye to Brad and I gave him a hug and a kiss. I wasn't too touchy feely with my family, and there was only a select few that I was comfortable touching; that was my mom and Brad. That now included Raph, although his touch sent fire through my body.

We waved him off and once he was out of view we went inside.

I was beaming after going shopping with Raph and getting tons of food and appliances. I had so much fun organizing it and finding homes for them in the mostly empty cupboards.

I kept two things of ground pork and a tray of meatballs in the fridge because I was going to make spaghetti for dinner.

I sat around the house trying to read my book but I was at a slow part and I couldn't break through. Raph had been in his office since we got home and the brothers had taken Duma out to the lake.

When the clock finally struck five, I got up and began cooking. I turned the oven on to bake the meatballs, put a big pot of salted water on to boil and started heating up my big, five inch deep, frying pan. I turned my Imagine Dragons back on and started working.

I pored the oil in and started cooking the meat, once the oven was heated I put the meatballs in. While I was waiting for the ground meat to cook I pulled out a colander and the tomato sauce cans.

I added salt and pepper to the meat then fresh garlic and tomato paste. While that was cooking I opened the cans then poured them in. I left it to simmer for a bit and pulled out and opened the pasta bag.

I began to season the sauce and added in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried basil and oregano, some sugar and a little more salt and pepper. I pulled the baked meatballs out and turned the sauce down to low as I put the pasta in the boiling water.

Cooking was so soothing when everything worked out. I smiled, satisfied, looking at the stove with my hands on my hips.
