RIGHT THE WRONG

"Sorry to bother you."

"Why are you sorry?" YJ adjusted the bed which his mom was resting in by hand using cranks.

"You go. I know you've got work to do. Don't mind me." Mom said YJ when he placed a pillow close against her back.

"Mom, please! I should be here with you right now." YJ remarked.

"Sashi, wake up! It's Seven." Mother pulled the blanket away from Sasha.

"Seven!" Sasha jumped out of her bed right after she heard mother's voice, then dashed out into the washroom.

"Mom! it's still six fifteen." Sasha was not happy with her mother for lying just to wake her up.

"You know how it's hard to get you out of the bed? Come! breakfast is ready." Mother replied.

"Here is your lunch box, water bottle. Did you take your medicine? Call me when you get there."

"Ok bye bye!" Sasha hugged her mother, kissed her cheek, stepped out of the door.

By the time Sasha arrived, there was a grouping of girls waiting outside the company building.

"It's her!" Sasha was startled when one among them screamed, pointing a finger at her.

"You do not deserve to be alive." Another one screamed. Sasha bent over close to the ground in a crouch as they rushed at her.

"You put YJ's life in danger. If you wanna die so bad go somewhere YJ isn't around." A girl grabbed Sasha by her hair.

Sasha sensed somewhat hitting her head, then it cracked. They were egging her. She ended up with egg yolks, coursing down her cheeks.

She made her way to the restroom. Her knees were bruised. She grabbed some tissues then wiped the egg white on her hair.

"Look at her. How disgusting!" Sasha lifted her head as she heard someone was talking to her.

"Did you call them over here?" Sasha raised her voice at the coworker who just walked in there.

"Look who's talking!" Another one came in.

"Why can't you leave me alone."

"How can I? You are annoying me. It freaks me out every time It crosses my mind that something could have happened to my YJ because of you on that day." The girl was furious.

It had been more than seven hours. YJ was waiting outside the operating theatre. The things the doctor warned about post operative complications had been ringing in his mind ever since.

YJ cleaned his hands with an alcohol based hand sanitizer, then put on a gown and covered his hands with a pair of gloves which were kept at the entrance to the intensive care unit.

YJ visited his mother for the first time, after she was admitted to the ICU, following her brain surgery.

"Son." YJ broke into tears when he heard his mom was calling him.

"Shhhh don't cry. I'm fine." Mom urged him to stop sobbing.

"You remember me. Doctor told that you might lose your memory after the operation." YJ choked back his tears.

"I'm alright. You are my baby. How can I forget you?" Mom calmed down his son.

"So what are you gonna do?" Sam asked YJ.

"I must stay with her until she gets better."

"Yeah, You should. Take some time off from work. Leela called now. She's on her way." Sam said.

"Why is she coming all the way here?" YJ muttered himself.

"Thank God! She's fine. I was really worried about her." Leela told YJ as she came out into the visitor's lounge.

"So, what is it you have to tell me?" YJ asked.

"Mmm there's a problem. There's nothing you can do, but still..." Leela said in a halting voice.

"Tell me. What's going on?" YJ was curious.

"You know, That girl. Sasha. Some girls had bashed her."

"What?" YJ was shocked.

"No need to worry. Police involved with the case. Thankfully! She's alright. It was your fans. They stirred up cause they think she put you in danger. How silly!" Leela explained the situation.

"Everything happens to me. Now I'm at my wit's end." YJ yelled, making Leela startled.

"Don't get worked up. You scared me." Leela shrugged her shoulders.

"It's all your fault." YJ vented his anger on Leela.

"Excuse me. I don't get that." Leela looked puzzled.

"You go. He is not in his right mind now. Try to understand." Sam advised Leela.

"She wasn't there to kill herself. It was me." YJ took the lid off.

"Hey hey! We are in a hospital. Hold your tongue." Sam warned.

Leela was dumbfounded, wondering about what was YJ uttering about.

"Wait! You knew already and hide it from me." Leela turned to Sam with a cold gaze.

"How can I... l.." Sam was gaping, lost for words.

"What do you take me for, an idiot?" Leela glared at Sam in a grim expression.

"There's no other options. I have to go." YJ spoke up.

"Where are you going?" Leela questioned YJ.

"I want to see her. I'm not gonna lie anymore." YJ stated.

"Are you freaking nuts?" Leela argued.

"You can't go anywhere. What about your mother?" Sam told YJ.

"Wait! Still luck is on our side. You said she lost her memory, didn't you? She hasn't told anything. So that means, it's true she has lost her memory. So why bother?" Leela grinned as she whispered.

"I can't let her suffer because of me. She just started living her life. I should put things right." YJ clearly expressed.

"What do you know about her? Oh man! It's about your life. You gonna ruin your entire career. Think wisely. Do not fall in the same pit twice. Ok? Now it's too late to right the wrong." Leela cautioned.

"I don't care. Give me the keys." YJ seized hold of the keys from Sam then made his way out.
