Kim

After I answered the call I started walking towards the direction of the house, maybe after a minute or two while I was still on the call with my mom someone held me by my wrist in an attempt to stop me. I turned back to see who the person was, shocked for the second time on the same day because it was Kim again. He was panting lightly. After he knew that I stopped walking he bent down resting his palms on his knees gasping. I was still trying to process everything that happened then but I heard my mom's concerned voice from the other end. I even forgot that I was talking to her minutes ago. I answered her and told that I was okay and that I met a friend just then and would call her again soon and ended the call.

After few seconds of breathing in and out, he stood up straight. The situation was awkward because none of us spoke. Then I broke the awkwardness asking him as to why was he there. He told that he forgot to tell me bye.

I was at loss of words because I was not able to comprehend the situation. I realised that I hadn't responded to what he had said so after a brief few seconds I nodded with confused face. He laughed out loud telling that he was just kidding. Then Kim asked if I would be fine staying alone concerned. I gave him a reassured smile not knowing how to react or what to say and I simply nodded with mhm as an answer. Then again I saw his saddened expression but he instantly faked a smile and told that he would walk home with me as he had to collect few books.

We started walking towards home and none of us spoke or tried starting conversation after I asked as to where Andy was. Kim answered that he asked Andy to go back home and that he would collect the books and be there. We reached home and Kim went straight to the library and took few books then few extra pairs of clothes. All I did was watching him walk around from room to room.

After taking his own time he came down and told that he would be heading out with the smile that I missed a lot those days. I wanted to ask him to stay but all I did was just nodding because I was not sure how to tell him. And he left.
