Stay over continues?

The night when Kim stayed over at Andy's place for the first time was more of a torture for me. I felt lonely for the first time, it was the first time staying alone in the house. I spoke to my mom was quite sometime then decided to sleep. Damn! the sleep was also not favouring me. The bed that was always comfy and warm felt cold. I tried and tried sleeping nothing seemed to work. All I did was toss again and again unable to find a comfortable position to sleep in. I checked the time every now and then to check how much time I was wasting without being able to sleep. The last time I checked the time, it was around 3:45am and I knew I was screwed I thought of ways to prepare myself to face the day and I guess I dozed off while trying to think how to be on time.

As expected I was late for morning practice on the first day of training. I forgot to set alarm, not my fault though I was used to Kim waking me up all the time. The entire team was already running laps to warm up when I was running to reach the changing room as soon as possible. The training and the classes went on sooner than I realised that day and we had no classes so Nathan pinged in the group chat to see if we can all catch-up for lunch again. Andy was quick to reply and we all met for lunch. We had lunch in the cafeteria itself as Kim and Andy had classes after an hour.

I didn't get to talk to Kim as all of them were busy talking about the day. But there were few interactions(eye contacts) between Kim and I. He looked fine for me. Before we left the cafeteria Andy said that Kim would be staying with him again that day, I just nodded with no words to say.

Two more days went by and we would catch up only during lunch as we made it compulsory thing if all of us were available around the same time. Both the days Kim stayed by at Andy's place. We didn't get to talk again. The nights remained cold and I thought I should get used to it. The next day we all gathered during lunch and I thought the same thing was going to happen again i.e., have lunch and Andy announce that Kim would stay over at his place but to my surprise Kim told that he'll be back in the evening and that he would call after the class ended.

To my luck-_- the whole week we had only morning practices and classes so I didn't have any option than to go home after lunch but(embarrassed^ ^') I was too happy that I couldn't stay put. As I remember I walked in the house n times waiting for the time to pass soon. I tried distracting myself nothing looked appealing to get distracted. At last around 5pm I was so done waiting that even without realising I was already walking towards the college.
