CH130 (360), Until The Next Time, Rota (1)

The next morning, the first thing I did was tidy up my room, storing everything that was not going to be left behind inside my Silph.Co backpack. I mean we were going to keep the house so there was no reason to dismantle the furniture, so all we had to do was pack up the things we were going to bring back to Hope Town.

At around 9:00 a.m. I made my way downstairs. I saw mom being busy in the kitchen and went over to help her with preparing breakfast as well as setting the table.

Dad had not come downstairs yet. Grouday was the only day I knew where he occasionally let himself sleep in for a bit, but even then he came down at 9:30 a.m.

I told mom and dad during breakfast that I was already done packing up the stuff in my room, and that we only had to cover the furniture before we left. You know, to prevent it from accumulating dust and grime.

I got praised by mom and she said she was going to clean up their bedroom today. Dad mentioned that he and I would be taking care of the study after lunch, and that was pretty much it for the day, so I was free to do what I wanted with the rest of the time.

Well, not really, since we would be going to visit the Field family for dinner due to Rose's birthday party. Actually, her birthday had been yesterday, but she postponed it for my sake since I had been to the Pancham habitat.

Until it was time to go, I decided to go through with my plan from Dialday to make the sculptures for the newcomers that did not have one yet, as well as the new ones for those that had evolved or changed.

Out of the 12 newbies that had joined me during the last few weeks, the 4 Eevee already had their sculpture made, so only 8 newbies needed a sculpture. Then there were Tyson/Machamp and Stan/Gyarados who needed a new sculpture as well. While Stan's change was a pretty minor one, it was still a change so he was still entitled to a new sculpture.

I called out the sculpting squad and informed them that we had a new batch of sculptures to make and they were pretty enthusiastic about it. I decided to go in order of joining, so I called out Gwen/Gardevoir first.

I let her choose the pose she wanted and made her colored glass sculpture according to the pose she took. I had sand of all colors and thanks to Enji/Arcanine I could turn all that sand into colored glass.

Still, if not for Horus/Xatu, Osiris/Marowak, and Manami/Lapras working together on ensuring that the extremely high heat/temperature produced by Enji to melt the sand was contained, we would have ruined the lawn in the process of melting the sand.

Nonetheless, this was not our first rodeo, and within less than 40 minutes a perfect glass sculpture of Gwen was done and cooled down. Following Gwen, we also made a glass sculpture for Gible, Tyrogue, and Togepi.

The trio also insisted on getting a group sculpture made, like the one I made for the Eevee Squad, and I did not mind it, so we made a group sculpture of them as well.

While doing their sculpture, I remembered the joke I made before, so I made a mental note to make a private sculpture later on with Togepi wearing a straw hat, Tyrogue wearing a black top hat, and Gible wearing an orange cowboy hat.

Anyway, we finished the trio's group sculpture just in time for lunch, so we took a lunch break, and mom and dad joined us for lunch. Mom brought out the food she made for us, and I took out some of the pre-prepared lunch for my Pokemon.

After lunch I, or rather we resumed our sculpting, and since Charmander was still an egg, he got skipped, so Mienfoo was up next. Buneary came after her, and Pancham finished off the newbies. Still, taking a page out of the book from their fellow newbies, they decided to form their own trio, so I made them a group sculpture as well after they asked for one.

Once I was done with that one, I called out Tyson and had him choose the pose he wanted and he chose to do somewhat of a flex pose. I had to laugh a bit at that, but I naturally let him do that if that was what he wanted.

Stan was next and chose to take a coiled position for his sculpture. The change in position was probably a good idea since it made the new sculpture look different compared to the previous one. I mean a color change of his crest was not that much of a visual difference, so the new pose made sense.

By the time we were done with everyone. There was only an hour left until dinner time, so I thanked everyone before I recalled them. Then I let them back out inside Utopia.

While I was doing that, I remembered that I wanted to check the Slythering Six's status screen to see how exactly their type variation had affected their base stat/racial value distribution, so I sat down cross-legged, and to everyone else, it looked as if I was meditating, while I was in through focusing on Utopia.

More specifically, I was using my master privilege to check up on the Sinister Six, and I had to say it was interesting to see that each of their parameters/values were slightly different from one another.

They all still had 540 BS/RV, except for Stan who enjoyed a 25% bonus thanks to his royal gene, but the way those 540 BS/RV were distributed was different for each one of them.

Still, while the distribution was different from that of a regular Gyarados, they all had the same total of 540, unlike good old Stan who shot right past a regular pseudo-legendary thanks to his royal gene, which raised his BS/RV total to 675.

After going over the Slythering Six, I also checked out a few others such as Kun/Azuraid, Bruce/Zubat, as well as Horus before I stopped. Before we left for the party, mom declared that she was done with their room. Apparently, she only left the stuff she knew they would need until Dialday, and packed away everything else.

At 5:45 p.m we left for Rose's birthday party, and we made it there a bit after 6 p.m. The party went well, and Rose liked her gifts. She was especially happy about the handcrafted custom balls I gave her for her Pokemon.

We made our way back home at 9 p.m, and dad called me to the study, so that we could pack everything into the boxes he began to pull out. I saw him pulling out the books one by one, and decided that I did not want to waste that much time on this, so I called out Ali/Kirlia as well as Gwen, and together we moved the books in batches into the boxes.

Dad just chuckled and began pointing out which objects were supposed to go into which box. In the end, it took us only a bit more than half an hour to empty the whole study, and dad put away the boxes before he decided that we were so fast that we could deal with the workshop/workroom right now instead of leaving it to tomorrow.

Finishing up that one took a bit longer, but we still managed to clean out the room within an hour, and dad looked pretty happy with our efficiency. I thanked Ali as well as Gwen for their help and recalled them before I wished dad a good night.

I made a stop downstairs and saw mom watching a movie, so I quickly bid her good night as well, before I retreated to my room. Still, it was only a quarter past 11 p.m., so I decided to work on something I had been planning to do for some time, at least until it was time for me to sleep.

I took a meditation position and focused on the yellow-brown energy that was free-floating in the air. There was not a lot of that which was not surprising since that was ground energy. The fact that there was ground energy floating in the air instead of staying on the ground was the thing that was surprising in the first place.

However, I had come to a logical conclusion about their existence after thinking about it for a bit. The dust that rose from the ground and was floating in the air/atmosphere was most likely responsible for the existence of the small amount of ground energy I could find despite being away from the ground itself.

Looking at it like that, trying to do this in my room instead of outside, or even inside Utopia had not been the smartest idea, but even I was prone to the occasional less-than-stellar idea.

Nonetheless, my previous experience during the competition helped me sense the ground energy around me even if the amount was greatly reduced which made the whole thing harder than it would have been if I had done this on the ground, surrounded by the element I was trying to sense.

Thankfully, I could do this step even in hard mode, so I began with the next step, which was trying to move around the ground energy floating around me. I was going to focus on this step until I could move a large enough amount of the yellow-brown energy in any way I wanted.

Besides, the added difficulty would only yield better results in the long run. Only after I had accomplished that would I try the final step, which was moving some of the energy inside my body to open up my energy scape, where it would be stored just like I had done with my mindscape and aurascape.

I had actually researched this point beforehand, and I had found out, that the position the elemental energies are stored, or rather the position of the energyscape was located in the gut/belly area.

Furthermore, just as it had been with the aurascape and the mindscape, the position of the energy scape was slightly different for everyone, so I would have to once again search for it myself.

The good thing was that I would not have to repeat this step if I tried to do this with another element since it would be stored inside the energyscape as well. I would "simply" have to ensure that the two elements did not clash until the second energy had settled enough.

At least that was according to the information I managed to look up with my current privilege, and considering the information came from the recounting of multiple dual Elementalists, I was inclined to believe it.

Anyway, back to my practice session, I spent the next hour or so moving the ground energy around me to various degrees of success, before I decided to finally stop and go to sleep.

The next morning, after breakfast, I began to chat with a few of my friends, specifically the ones living in Rota, to organize a meeting between us, so that we could meet up for one more time before I moved away because we would most likely be unable to meet again for quite some time due to our busy schedules.

I arranged a meeting with Erza tomorrow, on Mewday, and we would be meeting at lunchtime in front of the Coliseum. I would be meeting Sorrel and Marlene, my main students, along with Danielle and Henry, the add-on students, on Giratiday for lunch at "Aldini's Delightful Meals".

Lastly, Yoruichi had insisted on meeting up as well, and I would be meeting her on Palkiday a bit before dinner time in front of the cinema. After I was done with arranging those meetings, mom had me help her cover the furniture inside the cleared-out study and workshop with some white sheets.

Once we were done with those two rooms, we moved on to the guest room, and after mom quickly put away the stuff we would be taking with us, we covered the furniture in this room as well.

Mom also made sure to close the blinds while we left each room. She said she was doing it because it helped against the dust. I just nodded, it was not as if we were afraid someone would try to break in while we were gone since we had anti-theft measures in place.

We went downstairs after finishing up with all three rooms, and once we were back on the ground floor, I saw dad clearing out the storage room, so I went up to help him out.
