HE COMES OUT FROM HER IMAGINATION

The deeper the darkness, the more dazzling the light shines.

Drustan was about to leave his penthouse after locking himself up for two days straight when he received a phone call from Kama.

If it was from this werewolf, then it must be something about the girl named Apple. Drustan wondered why she was named after that forbidden fruit?

"Hm," Drustan mumbled to let the other person know that they were connected.

"The girl is looking for you," Kama said lightly, as he got down from the roof and walked along the street where Apple had just walked on. He was not in a hurry to find her, because her scent would lead him to her eventually.

"How did she know?" There was a deep frown between Drustan's eyebrows when he heard this. It was impossible for her to still remember about him because he had erased her memories that night when he put the protection spell on her.

However, no one knew about this aside from him.

"Well…" Kama scratched his head, which was not itchy at all, he looked in trouble when he answered timidly. "Because she pretended that she couldn't see me, so I just appeared in front of her in my wolf form and followed her for these two days."

Drustan closed his eyes when he spoke. "Didn't I tell you to show up in front of her?" Kama should have known to hide himself when he followed Apple. This was a simple unspoken rule that he could understand without any trouble.

"I am sorry, yes I know it was a mistake, but I thought it would be much easier to protect her if I was close to her." Kama made a lame excuse. Of course, Drustan wouldn't buy it. "Oh, right Drustan, she said she saw your black wing. What happened that night? How could you lose control?"

But, fortunately for Kama, that was not Drustan's focus right now, he didn't intend to talk about that, not now, not later.

As for now, he was indeed about to go to see Apple and observe the girl by himself. "Where are you now?"

==============

Apple had been looking for the werewolf man since she left her house early in the morning and didn't even get the chance to finish her homework because she was too excited to have a conversation with someone who knew about that man.

However, she just disappeared for less than thirty seconds and he had already gone. How annoying!

Apple had walked through the nearby street and even went to the alley where she met that man but found nothing. He was not there. Even though there was no evidence of what was happening that night when she met him.

Sometimes, Apple would stare at the tip of her fingers in the hope that mysterious golden dust would appear again, and maybe by then she would see him again, but that was only her wishful thinking…

Until she saw him, standing right in front of her and her cashier register.

Apple was having a part-time job as a cashier in a café this afternoon and was daydreaming about meeting the man with black wings again, when his figure loomed into her view, holding a cup of coffee.

He was wearing a denim jacket and white polo shirt beneath it with dark pants.

"You?" Apple was shocked, out of instinct, she stretched out her hand to touch him, afraid that she just imagined something. If that was the case, she needed to question her sanity right now.

Fortunately, that was not necessary, because she could feel his cold skin under her fingers.

"How much is it?" Drustan asked casually. But, he noted that his magic didn't work on her, her reaction was solid proof that she still remembered him.

"Oh," Apple stammered, trying to rearrange her thoughts and make herself aware that she was working at that moment. Only after being a few seconds late did she manage to say the price of the coffee, took the money and gave him the change.

"Thank you," Drustan said and turned around, but Apple grabbed his jacket and made him unable to walk any further.

"Wait," Apple said, her eyes pleading to him. "Please stay for a while." she looked around her nervously, as there were a few people who were staring at them right now, and even though this position was not quite comfortable because Apple had to lean over the countertop and it hurt her stomach, but she didn't dare to let him go, or else she wouldn't have any chance again to see him.

Drustan stared at the jacket that Apple was holding to her green pleading eyes and somehow he couldn't reject her. "I will sit in the corner."

"Okay." Apple looked at the corner of the café and was glad that she could still see him from here.

"Let go," Drustan reminded her about his jacket that she was holding, and only then did Apple let him go hesitantly and walked toward the corner of this café.

He was not an average man that you could see without staring at him for a few seconds longer, because his presence alone demanded attention from people around him. The mysterious and cold aura that emanated from him was enough to make any woman's heartbeat with curiosity and itched to know more about him.

After all, a dangerous man looked sexy to most women.

Yes, Drustan was indeed attractive, but Apple didn't see him in that way. She wanted to get close to him because there were a lot of things that she wanted to talk about, a million questions that she needed to answer.

Therefore, during her shift, she would always look in his direction, afraid he would disappear like smoke, it was not like he couldn't do that, while that man sipped his coffee unhurriedly.

And when her shift was finally over, Apple had never been so elated, as she figuratively flew toward Drustan and sat in front of him.
