She sits with him, unsure if she actually belongs.
She bides her time because she can't let go.
At least not yet, not today.
But maybe tomorrow.

"We need heart transplantation for her immediately, sir," the doctor said to the two most prominent figures in this country, but now they look like no more than heartbroken parents. "But, there is no suitable donor."
Russel gritted his teeth and closed his eyes, and it was Claire, who spoke to them. "Do anything to save her. I don't care what method you will use, you have to save her life."
With that being said, it was a green light for them to do anything, any method possible, including the underhanded one…
"Claire!" Russel rebuked his wife, but the determination in her eyes made him realize in an instant that he wouldn't be able to change her mind in this argument.
"That is our daughter that we are talking about. We can do much with our power and I will do anything for her." Claire emphasized every syllable that she said. "I will not give up just like this."
The doctor felt that this conversation would turn into something that he shouldn't hear, therefore he stood up and was rewarded by a questioning look from both of them.
"I will wait outside," he said, nodding his head slightly and walking out of the room, he closed the door out of politeness to give them some privacy that they needed at this crucial moment.
"This is illegal," Russel hissed to his wife. He knew that Tarsa's condition made her devastated as both of them had been waiting for Tarsa to come into their life for more than twelve years. "You know we can't abuse my power to do that."
However, the flame in Claire's eyes became even brighter than fuelled anger. "We have to save our daughter." She bawled her fists until her nails stabbed her palms painfully. "She is my daughter." Her voice was shaking when she said that, as the pain of being reminded that she could lose her at any time was hard to bear.
"She is my daughter too," Russel said through his gritted teeth. He was torn between his position as the president and his family.
"Then do something real!" Claire roared and then dashed out of the room, leaving her husband alone.

"Xierra, what are you doing?" Mr. Zeets asked, from the other side of the room. "Are you trying to hurt me with that?" His eyes fell on the dagger in Xierra's hand.
"Who 'me' did you refer to?" Xierra stood up and patted the imaginary dust from her body. She stared at the man before her eyes and then glanced at the door, where Damon waited for her to release the command that she gave, right outside of that piece of wood.
"Nothing can be overlooked by your beautiful eyes," Mr. Zeets said again, but this time his voice changed. It became much hoarser and heavy, as his breathing ragged. He hunched his body forward but kept his eyes staring intensely at the Kairi. "You are too confident to come alone in this situation. Don't you know that the solar eclipse will happen in less than ten minutes now?"
"Thank you for your information, but that is not news for me," Xierra walked forward cautiously, as she could feel her power seeping through her body. This was not a good sign.
"Do you know me?" He asked, backing away from the Kairi. He needed to stall the time until the total solar eclipse occurred.
"Soul eater," Xierra said in a whisper and then rushed toward him. She dodged the soul eater's attempt to kick her swiftly and moved very fast to his back, digging his shoulder with the dagger in her hands, as he let out an ear-piercing scream.
"You will kill this man!" The soul eater growled threateningly, as he tried to stay inside the minister's body.
"You killed this man. I merely stabbed the dead body," Xierra said savagely, as she used both of her hands to bring the creature down to his knees.
"You will regret this," the soul eater spoke in a whispery tone, as he stretched out his hand to hold Xierra's, which pressed his shoulder with the dagger, and locked her hand so she couldn't move. "You know this is a trap, but you still walk into it."
Xierra tried to pull back her hand, but there was something more stronger that held her, or maybe this was because she was getting weaker?
There were only five minutes left before the total solar eclipse and the sky out there had started to change its colour.
Xierra squinted her eyes when her power as Kairi decreased tremendously. She glanced at the door, but still didn't breach her command of her protector.
"I know what you are trying to do," Xierra said. She knew, but she had to do this. She was strong enough to hold this… right?
And when everything went dark slowly, as if the darkness came closer to devouring them, yet all the clueless people were excited to see this phenomenon, the soul eater seeped through the wound that came from Mr. Zeets's shoulder that was inflicted by the Kairi.
Xierra kicked Mr. Zeets' lifeless body, as he fell to the side and took three steps back.
The soul eater didn't have any form, it was just like white smoke rising into the air, swirling around Xierra's face, as she held her breath and closed her eyes.
There was no way in hell she would let these lame creatures occupy her body, yet her mind couldn't help but remember what the ninety-eight Kairi said to her…
The only righteous excuse that she held dearly for being with him.
'You can't let your protector away from you. You are like a seal to him. You must have known what was inside him. I am talking about Damon.'
