The uniform moth

Temujin was sleeping on the couch. The living room was filled with hundreds of books, cleaning equipment for guns and too many bullets placed around the room, a head from what looked like a bear combined with a crocodile, a picture of him and seven other god killers each holding a different weapon, except one who was holding a flamethrower and multiple bags with one.

Pandora snuck down the stairs and looked at Temujin who looked at him, his scruffy beards, to his eyebrows that were missing a few hairs, the mole on his right cheek.

Temujin woke up to the smell of fried eggs, he stood up and walked to the kitchen. "Morning." He said seeing the girl making him a plate of fried eggs, her eyes were filled with joy and he was confused. "Why are you so happy?" He asked with one bite he had the entire egg in his mouth chewing.

She looked at him now smiling. "I wanted to give thanks, you freed me from that monster." Temujin just looked at her, his eyes empty analyzing her.

He swallowed and ate the second egg in a second. "You don't owe me any debts, we just need to get you some actual clothes, instead of those rags." She looked at her torn dress, picked her up and carried her to a carriage.

Temujin sat next to Pandora. "Why did you want me as your apprentice, sir?" He called his Scavenger's tool this time pieces of his skin burned as the revolver formed.

He placed it down. "These are the gifts given to us by the natural trinity. But when something is created there is smoke or dust, which are enhanced by the smog creating, the nightmares and their disguise. They take their creator's form and they continue as long as the creator is alive." She slowly nodded. "The nightmare I fought had your face, so it was yours which means you're a God killer like me." She nodded only understanding the last part.

Pandora looked at her hand and rushed it forward. "I call upon you!" She said and nothing happened, Temujin chuckled at the eight year olds attempt. "How do you do it?" She asked, confused that it didn't work.

He closed his eyes and once she saw him doing she did the same he spoke. "Now Imagine a ocean, place your hand into said ocean." She nodded standing at the shore and kneeled down, reaching into the water.

"It's so cold." Temujin held her hand and she continued to reach deeper until she fell as swam looking around, grabbed the light, opened her eyes and gasped. "I fell into the water and." She looked at her hand and saw her scavenger's tools. "scissors and a needle?" Temujin smiled at her, pride irradiating from him.

"My first apprentice gets her tools on the first try! Good Job!" He said look at the two tools. "Hmmm did your parents teach you how to sew?" She nodded and looked at the ground becoming somber at the mention of her parents. "You miss them don't you?" She nodded and he took her into a sideway hug and rubbed her arm. "They're watching and I hope they're happy that you're out of that work house as I am." She looked at him confused. "Children should be allowed to be children, I will tell you what you will expect for the next five years. Mostly studying, training with your tools and if you're lucky assist me in killing a smog beast." She looked at the endless black clouds that produced gigantic crimson lighting. "Yea, anything from the clouds." Her eyes widened once she saw that their house was in the middle of nowhere and it wasn't near a city. Pandora grabbed the collar of her tattered rags over her mouth and nose. "No worries, we're not affected by corrupting smog, nor do any other kind of magic." She looked amazed, her jaw falling. Temujin just shook his head, he slowly and jokingly pushed her mouth closed.

She poked her head out of the carriage and looked at the land affected by the corrupting smog. Birds with four legs, toads that had eighting eyes and bunnies the size of the carriage, and one was running at them! Temujin just threw a cabbage head to the bunnie and after being affected by the smog the cabbage screamed from being eaten. "Yea don't bring anything alive outside of the citys." He told his young apprentice who starred with fascination and horror at the screaming cabbage.

The carriage stopped at the edge of a city where clouds weren't black and the sun shined without a purple hue. "Why don't we live here?" Two wizards in military armor that only had small slots showing their eyes came to them. "Hi." The girl said, trying to make herself smaller behind Temujin to the two large men glaring at them.

"Scavenger's weapon." He easily called his forth but Pandora took a few minutes again. The guard wrote down and looked at Pandora. "Why is this child in such a state?" The two guards pointed their staff at him and the crystal on top started charging.

Pandora then cut the golden staffs with a sapphire being wrapped in the golden branches. "Are those made of paper?" She mocked them but mentally she screamed. "I was trying to be cute. I didn't know that would work." Temujin just walked past the now sad guards.

He pulled his apprentice along. "Don't do that again, a wizard and witch's staff is what focuses their power, so can a wand though staffs can store more power. A staff is made using a piece of their soul so what you did was very wrong." He chastised. "It returns to them but that piece will feel Foreign to them until it's removed again into a new staff." He explained to Pandora and felt guilty and stared at the sad Guards who were asking their staff to reform.

She looked around seeing the multiple carriages walking on the skyscrapers, the witches in suits walking past giving looks to Temujin and she noticed that he was the only one there with thin eyes and high cheekbones, even then his chiseled chin made a few head turns, though that could also came from the black spots under his eyes. "Master, why do you look different then most here?"

He looked at his apprentice. "My mother's side are from the eastern wind horse clan, they herd pegasus and fly over the eastern front, they're the ones who bring us sugar and other goods without worrying about the Tsuvian and Khushur ." He smiled. "That's why I'm so handsome." He joked and continued to walk to a shop that looked like it was stomped on by a giant and had a stick of dynamite thrown at it.

Pandora gulped. "What happened here?" There was nothing but a single door standing in the middle of the ruins.

A blond with one blue and brown eyes came along and heard Pandora's question. "Oh a few of us God killers got drunk and destroyed the bar." He laughed and looked at the little girl. "Who are you poor little urchin?" Then a red blur jumped and hugged small Pandora.

"Oh you poor thing! How can the world treat such a sweet thing so horribly?!" She asked, wearing a long black skirt made from steel. "I will hunt down the monsters who hurt you!" The 17 year old looked at the only man from the east and summoned her Scavenger's tool, the water from the air concentrated toward the redhead's hand forming into a pen. "Seal" She wrote into the air, water droplets floating and they flew at Temujin Ice formed around him, ice crystals forming on him in until his entire body encased him and the redhead had a smug smile, until the god killer summoned his tool and the ice instantly evaporated and temujin started firing at the freckled redhead feet and making her dance. "How are you firing more than six shots?!" She asked, still jumping around before he ran behind the blond with sky blue eyes.

The blond smiled. "Temujin, please don't kill my apprentice." Temujin fired at the blond who called a mirror forth in front of himself and a second one formed into the ground.

He sighed. "Then keep your apprentices from freezing me, Alexander!" Temujin rolled his eyes and Pandora looked at the two godkillers.

"Catherine, Aragon apologize to him." Alexander ordered

The redhead gulped. "I'm sorry I thought you hurt this innocent girl." Temujin just let that be and proceeded to look at the door.

Temujin took a blade and cut his hand. "Sir!" Pandora yelled worriedly and calmed down once she saw his hand healing instantly. He placed the knife into the key and hole opened the door to a tailor shop. With a bearded woman with the body of a model, Alexander was the only one there with a look of interest.

He walked toward the tailor. "Arachne, how is time treating you?" She smiled before throwing a needle at the godkiller can called a mirror forth from thin air. It passed through and went through a second mirror into the floor.

Temujin looked at the spider woman. "I need a uniform." The Bearded spider woman walked around Pandora who was mentally screaming about the giant spider. Archene started pulling the beard hair as it stretched, turning into silk and started making the uniform.

Cathirne walked to Pandora. "Don't worry Archene is the best tailoress on the continent, that's what the Sanaa clan says anyway." Pandora looked at the freckled redhead and the uniform black was the same as her. She wore a long skirt reaching past her knees, a jacket she wore had enough pockets to steal an entire convenience store and Temujin suddenly showed off how powerful the clothing was as he pointed his revolver at Alexander. "No killing my master!" Alexander let one bullet hit him which only left an imprint before falling off. "Oh, I didn't think these were—." The spider just looked at Catherine glaring at her waiting to finish the sentence. "So durable!" Archene looked away and was in the process of making the dress.

Pandora looked at Catherine. "Um Miss Cathrine, how is it being an apprentice?" Catherine puffed one cheek up.

She released the air. "Mostly catching smog corrupted animals and training." She shrugged. "This is my last day, I got a job at the Capital training dog trained god killers." Pandora looked confused but decided not to ask what dog training meant.

Archene Returned, Temujin put his hand over his eyes while cathrine put her hand over Alexander's. In an instant she took the clothes off Pandora's clothes a c replaced it with the uniform. "This is comfy." She said surprised with Archene smiling with pride.

"How much?" Temujin asked, still blocking his own view before having his hand pulled away by Catherine. "Pretty as a snowbell." Pandora blushed a little at the compliment.

"230 buttons or 23 plates or 2,3 disks." She said Temujin's annoyed look, as placed 30 Copper coins each with a dragon on them. "Yea, I'm getting too many Buttons." Pandora looked at the money, her first time ever seeing this amount.

"Didn't she say 230 buttons?" She asked before Temujin placed 2 silver coins each glowing. "Why are they glowing?" Alexander decided to explain.

"Because they're enchanted, to glow near a godkiller, this way you know which is fake and which is real." He Smiled, flipping a coin. "For both the coin and god killer." He flipped the coming toward Pandora who caught it and it glowed bright blue. "Leviathan slayer, you are a common one." She stared at the coin.

Temujin joined in once she looked curious at the title. "There are four types of god killers, one is the Leviathan slayer, or Ocean slayers. Then there's the lightning bird slayer, or air slayer. The earth god killers are called the death worm slayer. And finally my type, the Phoenix slayers or fire slayers."

Screaming was heard from the outside as the crowd came outside, they all stared at the smog corrupted beast, Compound eyes crimson red, it's mouth a cylinder with a massive tongue tasting the air for a food and now it found one.

Temujin and Alexander looked at it, and stood with an air of calm breeze while their apprentices were either excited or pulling their master to get out of the city. "Master please! That thing will eat us!" She demanded, pulling with all the might of an eight year old girl.

Catherine grinned writing into the air 'Freeze' and launched the words at the beast which caused its papier wings to shatter and the entire thing Fell to the ground. "Who takes the kill?" He asked looking at Alex who shrugged. Temujin smirked and called two revolvers before pointing them at the firing himself toward the sky before firing at his back and launching him to the grounded beast. He landed and dodged the mutated fly's tongue and shot it, the bullet ripping it in two and Temujin walked toward the beast, it felt the killing intent as the man, fired at its limbs being shot off and then he stood on the monsters head pressing his barrel into before a single name was said. "Nero." A gun shot was heard and the monster's head burne and then Hundred of tiny moths escaped and started growing as the smog corrupted them. "Numbers don't wars. Lucifer!" Hepointed his gun into the air and pulled the trigger the bullet launched into the sky and once it lost its momentum a giant tornado of fire formed the flames devouring the moths and engulfing Temujin as well.

Back in the city Everyone stared at the destruction of the phoenix slayer's power. "Is he?" Catherine asked, Pandora started tearing up and then two gunshots were heard.

He came falling toward them as land as he fired again to slow down with the right sleeve of his uniform eaten and with a Cigar in his mouth. "That moth was a hungry B-" he stopped when Pandora ran and started hitting him. "Sorry for scaring you." He rubbed the girl's head as she cried her last tears into his stomach.

Catherine looked at the lightning bird slayers who nodded, this was a planned attack.

To the ashes one stepped to it and sighed. "What a waste of good smog magic." He said looking for something useful and there he found it. "Lucifer bullet, One good thing came from this failure." The one eyed man pocketed the bullet and disappeared as smog engulfed him.
