She felt frozen; the cold nipped at her skin. Her throat was hoarse and her lips were cracked. 

The air crackled with frost.

She looked up, the shadow of the man she hated stood in front of her. A twisted smile on his face. 

“If I cannot have you, then no one shall,” he whispered. 

She closed her eyes.

It has since been a few more weeks since the last killings in Rosewood, but there have been other killings in the neighbouring towns of North Belhumrntwood, South Mereel, or Nellwelley. Have all started experiencing strange disappearances of their people. Although the people speculated that the killings were related due to how similar the killing styles were, there were many key differences, however, in Gregory's mind, it was intentional.
