She felt frozen; the cold nipped at her skin. Her throat was hoarse and her lips were cracked. 

The air crackled with frost.

She looked up, the shadow of the man she hated stood in front of her. A twisted smile on his face. 

“If I cannot have you, then no one shall,” he whispered. 

She closed her eyes.

The Flora That Grew

The unnerving incident of the day was forgotten in the passing weeks and it almost felt as if the killers themselves were on a break with how quiet everything had gotten. The most recent murder was done by a surgical killer. 


Names for the killers, a small joke of the community is due to the naming of the killers seemed to be something that the police were more focused on rather than the solving of the cases. Although nerves were highly-strung in the community many people continued their daily lives, they just have more habits that come to the security of their own house, this is something to be expected.
