Chapter 38

"Silence is dangerous - often a warning."

It was pretty dark when we left the orphanage. Megan was leaning heavily on my back, she was extremely tired as she had been the one that was playing with the children the most. It was endearing, something that I always loved to see about her - although, at times I was pretty envious of her nurturing side. I did not recall being so close to the children in our current duration here. At the start, I had wanted to be, but I quickly found out that I did not have the capacity nor the energy to deal with the younger, more energetic children. My role had quickly become a tutor for the slightly older children, ones that could sit still for at least an hour for a lesson before letting them go play.
