Chapter 37

"Time goes so fast, yet so damningly slow when it comes to frivolously important things."

"Okay! I will see you tomorrow!"

I waved to the children as I got on my bike and rode out of the gates, shouting a 'Good Bye' to the guards. The sun was high and the wind was soft and cold, coupled with the sun it made for the perfect temperature. Though if one were to be in the shade and simply stay still then they would find it to be great cold.

The ride back was calming, though I had stopped in a town where there was a market; I got off my bike and walked past the different vendors, all the produce was fresh and lovely aromas wafted and tempted my senses. The food that was offered was all simply mouthwatering, going through some, I stopped when I saw a dessert stand. They were selling egg tarts, the ones that Megan likes immensely - the memory of her eating an egg tart in our old place was seared in my brain, how she smiled so brightly when she had taken her first bite.
