Common Factor

Ronald was trying to find out what was different that he can compare with the world he belonged to and also wished to know to what is common factor which is the same in his world too. This thought process made Ronald a little comfortable and could shift his focus from being afraid & cautious to identifying one of the factors mentioned above. What he understood was to find a common factor was much easier and what ever was left over was meant to be the differentiating factor. These findings would help him adapt to the new world which he has started to like slowly.

What Ronald observed was that this part of the world also had the Sun rise & set just like the world Ronald knows and lives in. There was oxygen to breathe, plants and trees, greenery around, mountains, etc. Ronald was yet to explore more and was out on the adventure. As he was walking around there was a small whoosh sound next to his ear and to his surprise it was an arrow which passed his ear probably missed his head. Ronald ducked his head immediately and was searching something below on the ground to defend himself. Ronald was now experiencing fear. He was also hungry now and was looking for something to eat. He found a rock like thing below a bark of a tree under a root which had grown above the ground. He took the rock as if it was his new weapon discovered to defend himself. Ronald watched around carefully and moved very cautiously. He also started observing above him the branches of the trees. Sweat started pouring from his face and body after what he saw.

Ronald saw a group of warriors who were armed with bows and arrows just like the primitive African pygmies with their upper bodies completely naked with markings on their faces in white, with a band of feathers on their heads, some them also had spears in their hands made out of bamboo shoots with a pointed stone at the top. Their intention was to kill as Ronald was foreign to their land. Ronald didn't move and stood silently. Two of them came down and tied Ronald in the rope like roots from the plants and pulled him forward. All the warriors came down. They were around 50 plus in numbers and it was quite evident that they were taking him to some place where his fate will be decided.
