Wives' Endeavours XIII

*cough*

"Let us cease hostilities around here yes." Jun who suddenly appeared called out to the sisters who were now getting a little too heated up for his taste.

"Husband!" "Jun!" Morgan and Artoria exclaimed at their beloved's sudden appearance.

They then immediately went back to glaring at each other.

"Competitiveness and rivalries are one thing but if you start making grudge matches I'll have to punish you both." Jun added once he saw they were not letting up.

"My apologies." Artoria let up with a kicked puppy kind of look that immediately bought a lot of sympathy.

Morgan however, had something else to say.

"I don't know, depending on the type of punishment . . . I may want to keep going." The Fairy Queen declared, clearly referencing something kinky which made Artoria's brow twitch uncontrollably.

Not only was she flirting and trying to get some love out of Jun but she was also pissing off her sister at the same time, truly a masterful move out of a born schemer. Would it work so well to her favor however.

Jun grinned with a devious look that made Morgan think she was successful before a pure smile took shape on his face.

"How I spend an entire day spoiling the obedient Artoria while you attend to us as punishment then? Would that be suitable my wife?" He said, maintaining his pure smile throughout the whole sentence.

"I think that's a great idea Jun!" Artoria instantly exclaimed in support before Morgan could even get another word out.

"S-Such decisiveness and cruelty, as expected from the man I chose." Surprisingly, despite Jun's harsh idea, Morgan only though better of him because of it. Still, the actually punishment was utterly nightmarish to her so the Fairy Queen quickly changed strategies.

"I apologize my husband. It shall not happen again."

"That's what I like to hear." Jun nodded in response.

Artoria on the other hand, seemed quite unsatisfied that the punishment would not be carried out. After all, it not only meant her annoying elder sister would get her due, it would also be a big reward for her, spending the whole day being spoiled by her beloved. What a blessing it would be.

"Don't make that face Artoria, it's not like I won't spend time with you anyway." Jun said while patting her head, putting a smile back on the King of Knight's face before embarrassment took over.

After all, she was quite inexperienced in such matter like romance and always felt like a little girl in front of Jun rather than the proud King she envisioned herself to be. Morgan's highly satisfied expression was a very sweet added bonus for Artoria however.

"Oh don't look at me like that Morgan. You're my wife, you're probably the one keeps me longest during my free time and judging from the others' reactions it probably has something to do with that wife ranking you all think you're keeping a secret from me." Jun said.

The first time instantly improved the Fairy Queen's mood but the latter one about the secret wife ranking not being as secret as she thought gave her pause.

"There's no reason to worry, if it motivates you all to work harder and foster some friendly competition then it's all good. Just make sure none of you take too far alright?" Jun added.

"Yes husband." Morgan acquiesced, happy at his endorsement of the ranking, it had become quite important to at least three of his queens after all, he wouldn't just do away with it on a whim.

Secretly watching them compete for the rights to a better chunk of his free time was actually quite entertaining too.

"Such matters aside, there's something we should talk about right now is there not? My dear number one wife." Jun said with smile that Morgan could not judge whether it was good or not.

"My dear number one wife." was a form of appellation that Morgan could get used to hearing and felt incredibly good but her husband's tone was slightly suspicious in her mind.

"Is this related to my recent endeavour?" She asked.

"That's right. I've checked out your work. It's a phenomenal achievement, I was really shocked that you managed to pull of such a great endeavour alone and to be honest, I'm already feeling the benefits." Jun praised.

"The increased magical energy output of Domina Coronam has considerably sped up my transformation." He added.

The praise felt great, it vindicated all of her effort and Morgan was extremely happy at the recognition. However, she felt that terrible word coming and it sincerely frightened her.

"But . . ." Jun paused and his Fairy wife gulped imperceptibly.

"Making such drastic modifications to my noble phantasm without giving me the slightest heads up, I can't say I'm happy about that." He gravely said and Morgan froze.

"I . . . I wanted to make it a surprise for you . . ." Morgan confessed with a downhearted tone though, with her general demeanor, the difference in tone was hard to spot.

Jun noticed it however, and eased up a little on his own tone.

"I get that and I'm happy that you made such a big surprise for me but when you're just relaxing and suddenly you feel that a large spatial breach that you did not authorize has been forcefully opened in what you thought was your safest domain . . . It is not a good feeling." Jun carefully explained.

"I'm sorry . . ." Morgan lowered her head.

Much to her surprise however and right in front of Artoria too, Jun just pulled her in and planted a deep and passionate kiss on her lips.

"!?"

The shock made the fairy queen freeze up a little but she got her bearings back right way, kissing her beloved husband back with similar heat and passion.

Meanwhile, an awkward Artoria was treated to a show she absolutely had no interest in watching.
