Pegasus

"Serenity!" They both looked at Desiree approaching. When she approached Serenity, she immediately hugged her and looked at her from head to toe.

"You're wearing that again? Don't you have anything else to wear?" Serenity looked at what she was wearing and then looked at Desiree in astonishment.

"There's nothing wrong with what she's wearing." Desiree ignored what Zephyr said and just dragged Serenity to their house to get her foot protection because she would take Serenity to the market to buy something new for her to wear.

"Where are you taking her, Desiree?" Zephyr asked loudly as he picked up the belongings that fell on the ground as he tried to chase Desiree and Serenity, who were running, but he received no answer to his question.

After Zephyr found all his belongings that fell, he quickly went home to their house while Desiree and Serenity were leaving their house because she had already gotten a shoe that would fit Serenity's feet when they met Desiree and Zephyr's dad. It was like deja vu, just like the reaction of Desiree and Zephyr's father when he saw Zephyr dragging Serenity. That's also his reaction when he saw Desiree dragging Serenity. His eyes were wide and he was obviously shocked by what he saw.

Serenity suddenly bowed out of respect. She didn't know why, but her body moved spontaneously and bowed by itself. Desiree said that they were going to the market and her father agreed, but the shock was still obvious on his face. As they were walking in the forest, someone suddenly grabbed Serenity's shoulder, Serenity looked at who it was and saw the sweaty Zephyr.

"You're not allowed to come with us." Desiree said seriously to Zephyr and slowly removed his hand that was holding Serenity's shoulder.

"And who are you to say that to me?" Zephyr said until they started to quarrel.

"We can go there together." Serenity said to reduce the tension between the two of them because there's a possibility that they will end up fighting each other.

"Yeah Serenity's right." Zephyr said, agreeing with what Serenity said.

"You've always been with Serenity. This is just our alone time, but you're still a hindrance." Desiree said angrily, Serenity stood between the two of them and made them hold each other's hands, which surprised Desiree and Zephyr.

"You're still related to each other and you're like that." Serenity said and started to walk even though she didn't know which way they were going. Desiree and Zephyr laughed at her for what she did.

"Serenity, that isn't the way, it's here." Smiling Desiree said once, pointing to the opposite side that Serenity was going through. They started walking, and only the chirping of birds could be heard inside the forest. Soon after, they got on the road to wait for the incoming bus. They stood there for a while.

Serenity, on the other hand, looked around because it was her first time going there besides near the ocean. She looked at a large box that had stopped in front of them. Desiree and Zephyr got on the bus, and Serenity wondered why. Zephyr laughed when he saw in the mirror that Serenity was still standing outside, having no intention of getting on the bus, so he stood up and pulled Serenity into the bus.

"Monster." Serenity whispered, and Zephyr smiled. Even though they live in a secluded place, when they enter the bus, there are almost no seats, but Desiree is sitting because she was the first to enter before Zephyr and Serenity entered, so Serenity and Zephyr are standing in the middle of the bus. Serenity saw that Zephyr was holding onto the bus handrail. Serenity immediately imitated it.

Soon they arrived at the market, full of people and various kinds of shops that amazed Serenity, because she had only just seen something like that.

Desiree immediately dragged Serenity to the clothes shop when she got off the bus. Desiree was obviously excited about buying new clothes for Serenity to wear.

"W-wait Desiree." Serenity can't run properly because she's afraid that she might bump into people, while Desiree doesn't give a damn if she bumps into someone as long as she gets to where she wants to go right away.

After Desiree chooses Serenity's new clothes, she forces Serenity to try them on, and whatever the girl wears, suits her.

"You should wear that right now. It really fits you." Desiree said, smilingly.

The white tiered ruffle dress compliments her lemonade pink hair and the smooth rose-tinged ivory of her skin.

Desiree didn't want to go home yet, so they decided to go around first. It was getting dark around and you could see various beautiful lights around, Desiree approached one of the vendors and asked, "What's the occasion?"

"Don't you know? We're celebrating the feast of Pegasus today." The woman replied as she arranged the jewelries that she was going to sell.

"Pegasus?" Desiree asked while looking at the women's jewelry sales, while Zephyr did the same. He was planning to buy a bracelet for Serenity.

"A winged horse that sprang from the blood of Medusa as she was beheaded by the hero Perseus; Pegasus's soaring flight was taken as an emblem of the soul's immortality in late antiquity; in modern times, it has been viewed as a symbol of creative inspiration." said the woman as she sold some of the jewelries to her customers.

"It is particularly prevalent 'springs of ocean,' near where Medusa was said to have been killed by Perseus, and it was once thought that Poseidon owned the Pegasus after Medusa died." She continued. The woman looked at Serenity's pearl necklace and then at Serenity.

"Where did you get that? It's kind of unique. It's my first time seeing that kind of thing." The woman said excitedly.

"Oh! I received it as a gift." Serenity answered.

"A gift? From who?" The woman's question irritated Serenity.

"You don't need to know." Serenity, seriously said.
