Assembling Reminder

Misaki with her black tank top and long blue jeans spent the afternoon time on her secret base with a quiet, but yet tense atmosphere. Moreover, she sat on top of the metal chair while looking at her arm that was ready to be a test subject for the injection tube that contained a dirty gray liquid. Even though her wounded hole fully recovered without leaving any traces or marks left, it only brought her dissatisfaction.

Because of that, she glared upon her arms once again in disappointment, locking eyes. Misaki recalled some of the past memories that were still haunted until this day. More likely, a flash of her memory as Chemistra, she carried an elderly woman who was on the brink of death due to a bullet wound landed on her forehead.

"Mama, please forgive me for...not...saving you." Misaki cried in regrets hands were covered by the blood of her mother.

A blinding flash soon sent Misaki thought to the present day and it brought a heating grit alongside her as she glanced at her arms. Afterward, she switched her attention onto the injection tube that contained a greyish liquid in dilemma to decide.

"Emotional and physical pain, I wished I could remove all of it." Misaki deeply grunted. "So, Let's see if this liquid can give an improvement."

After a few moments of thinking and planning, Misaki finally made her decision for further improvement, she nailed the injection tubing onto her arm. The grey liquid rapidly distributed its essence onto her arm until it's empty.

Misaki bit her lips to trap the painful screams echoing inside the humid room. Her hand uncontrollably shook similar to somebody that was being electrocuted and a greyish liquid smoothly went through her veins.

Nevertheless, the shaking stopped, regaining a sense of movement when the tube was completely empty. Therefore, Misaki raised her injected arms out of curiosity by rotated back and forth momentarily. The liquid might enhance her own joint due to it spun like an automatic machine without any bone crack sound shouted, but

"Alright, let's test this one," Misaki uttered in a cold tone.

Misaki stood up and glared at the half body of the humanoid dummy with a metal skin beside her left. She pressed her clenching fist in steep readiness for testing her new enhancement.

Therefore, Misaki launched a steady punch as she gloriously howled. Her knicled pierced through the humanoid dummy chest with ease as if it was made of rubber. Even better, her enhanced hand didn't gain any bruises and a single drop of blood.

An impression was centered in a form of a grin when she pulled off her fist from the dummy. It created a realization that the enhancement truly made her stronger than average human strength.

"Very impressive." Misaki praised as she locked her eyes at a pierced dummy, "I could break an aluminum with a bare hand and frankly, I didn't even feel any physical pain."

Misaki proudly chuckled before a vision of her mother smiling invaded her mind all of sudden. She stood motionlessly and frowned in despair as she slowly put down her hand.

"However, the enhancement didn't improve in an emotional way," Misaki said in a disappointed tone.

Hence, Misaki laughed as she tilted her head continuously in embarrassment. Her shameful realization kicked into the moment when she advised Sparror to let the negative emotion fly away, freely like a bird in the sky.

"Foolish me." She mocked before she questioned herself in a facepalm, "Why did I tell a kid to move on from a horrible tragedy while I cannot do it?"

"This is why I wondered if I should turn myself into an emotionless robot." Misaki exclaimed in a dilemma tone, "So, I didn't have to bear the pain of losing somebody else, again."

After the short of motivating herself, a soaring flame popped out without any sign behind her. She slowly turned around and witnessed Sparror, made his entrance by dissolving the flaming twister.

"Well...good afternoon, Misaki." Sparror greeted Misaki in a polite tone.

"What is the reason you are coming here, Sparror?" She asked with a chilling tone as she crossed her hand with a cold smug.

Sparror eyes went up in intimidation whether Misaki's cold-like stare or her chilling voice that was captured by his hearing. Although this was his second visit, but this time the atmosphere shivered his spine a little bit as the yellow sharped eyes locked at The Chemist.

"Ah…..do you know where Zero is?" Sparror asked in a nervous tone.

"He's on duty and what is the purpose for finding him?" Misaki countered in a deep, intriguing voice."

The Flaming Hero rubbed his back to regain some confidence for continuing his answer. The cold smugness of Misaki's increased the intimidating tension onto Sparror nervousness before he relished it with a single sigh.

"I just got an alliance with The Mysterious Ice Warrior," Sparror said with a snicker.

Misaki glared in disbelief as she put aside her smugness and hands down. Sparror chuckled in mixture of happiness and half fear due to his fellow friends who now placed her grip below the chin in skepticism.

An alliance with The Shaolin Warriors was successfully obtained, but Misaki got more uncertain and threw away her attention to the left to avoid Sparror. She even rolled her eyes in uncertainty before she took a more cautious glance towards The Flaming Hero.

"That's great news, Sparror." Misaki praised before a conservative warning was released, "But, please let me meet him in person before the fight with the Distrunian starts."

"Don't worry...about that, you and Zero would meet them, soon" Sparror answered with a sure tone.

Another surprise fell down as she raised her eyebrows widely above. While Sparror chuckled relaxingly without any interruption inside his mind for Misaki's reaction. A new lesson was projected onto The Flaming Hero which was asking a new person to join the team was quite hard, not only obtaining the trust of that person but a trust from his fellow teammate to that certain person.

The afternoon sky was saturated by the presence of orange light as time went by. The sidewalks on Neo Tokyo were now filled with a bunch of people with more relaxing outfits such as t-shirts and short pants.

However, there was one sidewalk where few people walked and it was a sidewalk near an art store that had a cherry red interior with a small rectangular billboard placed on the top. The billboard contained a creamy brown and an ink-black Japanese Kanji planted on the middle that spelled, "Art of for The Warriors."

It also had a neon blue holographic, sidewalk banner on the right side, displaying a painting of a chubby Kabuki Warrior standing on top of a volcanic mountain with a style of traditional Japanese painting. The whole art store building was now being safely caged by a yellowish barrier that has been used whenever a Superhuman activity occurred in Neo Tokyo.

Today's villain was a high school boy with dashing red hair and crimson furry skin similar to a lion. He also had razor-sharp teeth with a metal surface and frustratingly stared at Zero who locked his red eyes in a boresome mood.

Tabata with his police armor, stood beside The Ozmonian and glared towards the furry villains who cautiously breathed. The officer rolled his eyes before he hoisted the clean white pistol with blue lines scattered around on the barrel part.

"Let me handle this, Zero." Tabata said in a profound tone.

"Apology officer." Zero rejected the aid in a soothing voice, "I had a higher chance to defeat this in one hit."

Tabata put down his gun and smiled in acceptance before he retreated from The Ozmonian. The furry man furiously roared as his heart was pierced by Zero mockery. Furthermore, he recklessly charged forward with a movement similar to a wild lion.

The neon gold claw was nearly latched onto Zero's shoulder, but he already initiated the counter trick on his sleeve as a giant silver gauntlet with blue lining replaced his hands. The Ozmonian swiftly uppercut the furry man on the chest and in less of a second an electrocuted reaction zapped through his chest. The furry man screamed in a raspy voice before he motionlessly nodded down as the consciousness flew away with his eyes shut.

Therefore, Zero's giant gauntlet dissolved into millions of blue particles that freely flew to the sky and grabbed the falling man by his clothes. Furthermore, The Ozmonian nice and slowly put down The Furry man similar to somebody putting fragile things to the ground.

Today's criminal was finally put to rest with ease and Zero clapped his hand in relief after he only put a one punch. While Tabata widened his shocking expression towards The Ozmonian who recently turned to his attention with an observative look.

Tabata was transformed into a dark blue, holographic human with divine yellow energy on his chest in Zero vision due to the red eyes sharpened it's vision into pale blue hologram like. Afterward, the normal vision returned to reality as his eyes widened up an inconclusive demeanor and went back to red.

"Based on my current observation. you have a 60% chance to release the hidden power." Zero concluded.

"It's true." Tabata admitted with a struggling grit and clenching fist of trying to hold something, "I couldn't stand anymore to sit, watch, and observe many heroes who give their best to protect Neo Tokyo. It's time for me to become an Onmyoji again, but…."

Tears of regret slowly dropped by on his eye sockets as Tabata's hands uncontrollably shook like someone that was being electrocuted . Zero looked in pity toward his office allies and tried his best to comfort him by politely patting onto his shoulder.

"My effective suggestion is to take your time to fill up the motivation," Zero advised while he let go of the patting.

Tabata acceptance nodded even though he still maintained a glimpse of discomfort within his biting lips. Then, The officer lifted the criminal and carried by his shoulder like a heavy semen bag, prepared to bring to his police car that was parked in front of the barrier.

After a few seconds, Tabata left the crime scene bypassing the barrier like an intangible ghost, while a flaming twister emerged from an empty dust. Moreover, Zero anticipatingly glared at the twister that suddenly vanished in thin air, revealing Sparror and Chemistra in a firm stance.

"Hellooooooo." Zero greeted in a stock tone before a regular, young man voice took the spot, "Sparror, Chemistra."

Chemistra irritatingly groaned and rolled her eyes toward the same type of greetings. While Sparror only chuckled in relaxation. The Ozmonian walked closer to get a clear view of his closest friends.

"Sparror, how's the progress for the temporary alliance?" Zero asked in a calm tone.

"It went smoothly, Zero." Sparror replied in confidence, "The Mysterious Ice Warrior accepted the offer and there were even more surprises. His two allies will most likely aid our battle with the Distrunian."

Zero was fully impressed with Sparro's accomplishment of convincing an ally he never met physically and known in the public eyes as either a rogue hero or worse a villain. Furthermore, The Ozmonian went down in high suspicion especially when he rubbed his chin.

The Flaming Hero gazed at his metal friend who stepped on the ground like a rabbit and it shivered his spine. Therefore, he sighed in relief to get rid of the petrified looks and replaced them with a calm one.

"Would you mind having a conversation about this topic inside, Chemistra secret base?" Zero let out an idea, "Since, I am going to ask a lot of detail about your story of how you met him until you regain him as a new ally."

Chemistra raised her yellowish eyebrows in another annoyance and shook her head. However, she didn't try to interfere when she glanced at Sparror who seemingly showed an agreement inside his yellow eyes, only shrugged off.

"I agreed with your idea, Zero." Sparror admitted in gladness.

Zero threw down his observant looks and demeanor after he gave a small chuckle. Although a new ally was gained by Sparror's hard effort, further discussions with his two, heroic friends were very important and it would be initiated soon enough.
