Thundering Havoc

Awaiting her husband's arrival thought still invaded Sayato's mind as she pondered a sorrowful look at the window view on the left from the sofa that used to spend time together with the small family. The beating heartbeat forced her to cringe in unnerving agony.

Hence, Sayato held her agonizing chest and tightly pressed it till she could take a short sigh after the pain was reduced. She leaned her back on the balmy surface with her other hand trembling.

Sayato quickly closed her mouth when her throat began to cough constantly in a moment. Afterward, she retrieved the closing hand and frowned in a shivering shock onto her palm that was greased by fresh crimson blood.

Dizziness rang through Sayato's head with her body unsteadily shook left to right and forced her to close her eyes. Luckily the period was only temporary as she took a long breath from her throat before she exhaled away, giving her a relief chance of opening her eyes.

"Mama, are you okay?" A concerning girl's voice was caught by Sayato hearing.

Therefore, Sayato steered to the right and witnessed the pink hair girl with an all-blue school uniform pinned a worried look and standing in front of her. A reluctant smile was opened by the housewife as she stroked the little girl's cheeks, opening a cheery giggle.

"I'm okay, Karin," Sayato murmured happily.

"Are you sure?" Karin countered with a concerned tone.

"Pretty sure with…." Sayato didn't finish her sentence due to all of a sudden she coughed

Karin swiftly held Sayato's chest before she gently slapped her mom's back. It erased the agonizing pain within the housewife's throat, encouraging her to give a thankful smile to her daughter.

The schoolgirl replied a yearning smirk onto her mother as she slowly let go of her hand. Watching Sayato's condition getting worse only saddened Karin, especially as she gave a frightened gaze and gritted in despair.

"Mama don't worry…Papa will be back with the cure for your sickness." Karin tried to convince.

A melancholic feeling colored Sayato's entire face and she forcefully bit her lips that making Karin spread a puzzling look. The school girl shook her head in defiance after capturing the quick realization before she tightly wrapped her hand on the housewife's back.

An unyielding line of tears from Karin dropped down the more she tightened her yearning hug. Sayato widened an astounded frown and staggered a raising hand that was ready to initiate a hug.

"Papa did this for me too because I'm not ready to see you go, Mama," Karin confessed. "We still need…you."

"Please, please, do not be skeptical with him." Karin added, "Instead, believe papa would get the cure. He also didn't worry much if he lost his power because having this family is much more important and with you leaving earlier…it might not be the same."

Sayato embraced the sereneness as she hugged her dear daughter with a gleeful smirk that was extended. The housewife even moved one of the gentle hands onto her neck, slowly succumbing to her daughter's words about Shinjou's act, and awaited for his sensational return.

"K-K-arin." Sayato uttered her daughter's name with a mix of dread and gratefulness at the same time, especially as she hugged tighter.

The raid on Kaomauru was presumed smoothly as the building was safely contained by a yellow barrier whenever a superhuman crime occurred. Many armored officers were scattered on the entrance gate's floor dropping their jaws of shock but still could grasp a sign of breathing even though their motion didn't occur.

Whereas a couple of N.T.P.D cars were parked in front of the shimmering barrier and commenced a preparation activity such as grabbing their shock rifle from the dark-blue N.T.P.D truck that opened its weapon inventory on the grey tray that shone blue lines on the rear part.

Furthermore, the armored officer rallied on the crime scene and their rushing footsteps phased through the bulky barrier like a ghost. Some of them kneeled to the unconscious officer to check their pulse.

Other officers ran forward to the widely opened towering entrance gate covered by shiny gold material and had a scally surface as the chosen motif. Inside the museum, the artifacts such as swords, masks, old-era clothing or shogun armor, and many more hovered on the blue holographic cylinder display pillar were calmly safe in this chaotic situation.

With armored police lying down unconsciously on the hallway or some of them beside the display pillar, no artifacts were falling. Instead, they still could float as a presentable object even without any audience taking their attention.

The audience included Thunder Fang who was in the middle of a weapons gallery that was safely being presented inside the bluish holographic glassy wall, slammed down to armored police on the ground. Violet electricity surged out from his grip and zapped the police, staggering his body.

The Oni Guy retrieved back the zapping grip, shut off the electricity that chained the helpless policemen. Hence, the police went into an unconscious state as he dropped its jaw and spread out an after impact, electrical smoke flew freely.

"One police down and another more to go." Thunder Fang reluctantly mumbled.

Thunder Fang heaved the surging fist and channeled out a wild electricity root through his vein. The Oni Guy opened the clenching fist to spawn a thundering-electrical orb on his palm.

Drumming footsteps were heedfully captured by Thunder Fang's sharp hearing on the front, forcing him to throw the orb on above. The fleeing orb quickly took the pit stop near the floating Japanese lantern due to a transparent circular tray lifting it and shone an afternoon-alike light.

A group of three armored police stopped the rushing steps from afar and aimed their rifle on the primary target, Thunder Fang. The Oni Guy hesitantly shook his head before he clenched the left fist to omit electricity on the wrist.

"FREEZE!!" The armored police in the middle shouted.

Thunder Fang groaned and shook his head in bitter regret seeing the policemen would be seen launched their shot. The Oni Guy reluctantly levered down the clenching fist as he gritted the sharp teeth.

Lightning strike electrical string flung down from the orb on above and zapped the middle police in an instance. His other two colleagues dropped their jaw for helplessly witnessing their comrade's whole body unsteadily staggering and growled in pain

With the electricity faded away from the middle police sight, his feet began to fall on the floor and sent him into an unconscious state. The other two colleagues swallowed their saliva with a hefty breath of dread, succumbing to the fear of facing a Superhuman.

However, the two polices still convinced themselves on hoisting the riffles at Thunder Fang and sluggishly pressed the trigger. Burdening sigh was blown away by The Oni Guy before he raised the casting hand once again.

A couple of neon-green bullets fleeted away from the rifle's muzzle to Thunder Fang in a straight line after the two police screamed, succumbing to the dreaded fear within. At the same time, the silent orb on above fired lightning-strike strings heading towards the polices.

The two policemen were struck altogether by the lightning string and constantly shaking their unnerving bodies like a ragdoll, dropping the riffles. Then, the string vanished and left the police to tremble down on the ground with a shocked expression.

While Thunder Fang flipped down his entire body light as a feather, letting the rallying bullets fly aimlessly. The Oni Guy safely landed in a duck position with all the bullets pierced through the museum's floor for its landing spot.

Another relieving sigh was exhaled by Thunder Fang and raised his entire feet into a standing position. He took another glance at the fallen policemen and freed a pitying frown within his eyebrows.

"As much as I hate hurting those cops, but I had no choice." Thunder Fang assured, "This is the path I choose and I must fully commit to it no matter what the cost."

Thunder Fang quickly took another step forward for continuing the ongoing mission of finding his boss desired object. Walking past by the fallen policemen gave him an anxious grit.

Afterward, Thunder Fang finally was out of the policemen's range as he kept walking and pinned a heedful stare. A heedful stare allowed him to survey the surroundings and only found a variety kind of Japanese artifacts being displayed across the hallway.

With more time to survey continue, Thunder Fang peeked to the left and noticed a glimpse of a golden circular metal mask from afar. A joyful smirk was declared by The Oni Guy before he smoothly stepped towards the object's direction.

"It's lucky the weird replica mask has finally been found." Thunder Fang mumbled.

As a few steps were spent, Thunder Fang could capture a closer look at the golden mask that mesmerized his eyes and revealed the clear details of the mask. A hollow-black oval shape eye hole with cherry-red painted lips on the lower part was tidily planted on the mask.

The Oni Guy placed his clutching hand to the left pocket pant inside and took out the small robot spider as the right pick on this situation. Thunder Fang darted a concerning furrow towards the robot spider that still rested on his opened palm.

Moreover, Thunder Fang gritted his teeth in bitterness before he exhaled the bothering thought away. He took another step closer and politely threw the robot spider by opening his grip.

The robot spider securely landed on the forehead part of the golden mask and flickered a tiny-holographic blue fang on its mouth like turning on a light. Hence, a rooting neon-blue web glowed on the mask temporarily.

Whereas, the robot spider dissolved into a thousand soft blue sparkles that flew to the sky above before shortly being erased into nothing. An assertive glare was created by Thunder Fang's face as he centered his sight at the mask, awaiting the finishing process.

"I know it's this is just the Garuden Mask replica, but I heard they were rumors that the magical force or curse… will possess the replica too." Thunder Fang murmured within his mind

"Probably Kazuto wanted to master the mask power." Thunder Fang added. "I just hope he only trying to sell it."

All of sudden, Thunder Fang widened his thunder-shock eyes for sensing a powerful presence. He clenched his fists that slowly trembled in dread and his jaw dropped down as the footsteps approaching him drummed through his ear.

Thunder Fang heedfully turned around to get a clear picture of the person who took the following steps that lingered his ear. Much to his surprise, The Oni Guy tightly clenched his fist for witnessing the two heroes of Neo Tokyo had arrived on the crime scene, Chemistra with her suit glowed a pearly yellow light, and Agano.

"Stop it right there, Thunder Fang," Agano warned in a firm tone.

The Oni Guy sighed the hefty breath away and sluggishly stretched his knee cap to the front, surging electrical vines out from both of his feet. While his hand went into the right jacket pocket containing the bluish grip within.

Chemistra with a sharp-suspicious stare hoisted the chemical fingers especially with Thunder Fang's hand trying to grab an important thing from the pocket. Moreover, the needle fingers of The Chemist began to blink into a yellow light that perfectly replicated the original.

While Agano drew the paper card on his left palm and the black kanji being written was "Blind".The Onmyouji carefully heaved the paper card precisely in front of his sight as his glare caught the glimpse of Thunder Fang gripping the blue cube.

A blue cube The Oni Guy showed to the hero's eyes like a shining light bulb even though he nervously winced. Chemistra and Agano were indeed pinned their cautious stare on the shimmering object.

"Alright, let's settle our fight in this pocket dimension." Thunder Fang announced with an unnerving stare, "Heroes of Neo Tokyo City."

Afterward, Thunder Fang swiftly slammed down the cube to the floor, unleashing a blinding blue light that pierced both Chemistra and Agano's eyes, releasing an irritated grunt for them. The wavering light also swallowed the heroes and The Oni Guy till all of them blinked out from the naked eyes.

Any leftovers couldn't be found on the crime scene after the light vanished and brought all the people with it. The Thunder Fang's chaos in the museum was no longer available anymore, giving the artifact a breath of fresh air.
