Aftermath of The Augmented Armies Raid

Four hours had passed from the period of The Shogun Robot raid that ended with Maduruma taking the win, citizens of Neo Tokyo were now allowed to be freed from the sorrowful evacuation room. Most of them decided to stay in their houses to cool off the dreaded stress and other things due to being outside were filled with drones and policemen glared watchful eyes.

A policeman who upheld the cotton-white rifles with striking blue lines near their chest pondered onto the surroundings. The corpse of a decapitated Shogun Robot on the sidewalk intrigued some of the policemen to walk closer and darted their observative eyes.

As the observation for the police forces continued, one of the towering-glassy buildings projected an embarking screen. A screen that was mainly about the ongoing news with the cheerful reporter, Yukina Ginjo became the main host for this hectic afternoon.

"So far, the police and even the available heroes don't have any traces of the perpetrators, Maduruma." Yukina foretold the news. pictures of two pairs of corrosive, metal legs popped out on her above right, " Instead, the police only found some pairs of metal legs that actually belongs to Chemistra."

"We can only just hope Chemistra will be okay after handling this battle and wish for the other hero to be safe whenever Maduruma returns again," Yukina added.

The news was indeed spread out across the entire Neo Tokyo territory especially from the Television of the citizens watching on their homes. One of those citizens was none other than The Akarui Household members who were recently freed from the evacuation room.

Sasaki, Chisato, and their daughter Hirata took their seat on the balmy, gray sofa to watch the ongoing news together. They were indeed shown a surprised frown either on listening and watched the picture of the legs morphed into a picture revealing a glimpse of Maduruma back, who hovered on top of the building from above.

Petrifying gaze was raised by Sasaki as he winced after glossing over the picture of Maduruma . Then, he took a long deep breath to cool off his head and sighed away, receiving a bitter sense of calmness as the news continued to share more information about the current criminal case.

Hirata rubbed her chin with a bemused look, "Wait…I thought this Maduruma guy had already died many years ago."

Sasaki reluctantly sighed, "Well I can just say he had a bit of convenient luck since this is a….Superhero world."

"A world where a big explosion isn't enough to kill your villain, so yeah…he survived that," Sasaki answered with a little bit of anxiousness.

"Maybe…you're right, dad," Hirata admitted.

Afterward, both Hirata and Sasaki darted their sharp sight at the Television that kept projecting the ongoing news. Intrigued eyes outshone their entire face as the news showed a full-screen picture of the outside view, full of either the corpse of the police robot or the shogun robot that was stranded on the ground.

While Yuna sat in a kneeling position on the soft-feathery floor, pinned a pity look at her close partner, Hatoshi. He sat on the balmy, gray chair with a perturbed look that overwhelmed his entire face.

The schoolboy dropped his unnerving jaw and extended the concerning frown as the voice of the reporter went through his ears. Hatoshi slowly leaned his back on the bouncy, yet the comfy surface of the chair as he winced.

"Hatoshi, you seem kind of worried, are you okay?" Yuna asked politely.

Hatoshi exhaled and steered his sight at Yuna, "I'm…fine…I'm..just…thinking to….the other heroes on solving this problem."

"Even if you help the heroes as an operator…the outcome will still be like this." Sasaki argued, "Because highly technological villains like Maduruma….will pretty much shut down your communication with the other heroes."

"That's…what I learnt from your father." Sasaki added, "Besides…I like your heroic spirit, but it's better for you to put it to rest until the break period is over. It will literally become a burden to your mind.

A stunned look was spread out through the whole Hatoshi especially when he saw the blunt stare of his uncle. Hence, The schoolboy shook his head and slowly washed away the concerning and worrying thoughts about the situation.

"Yeah..you're right, Uncle Sasaki." Hatoshi uttered, "I really let those thoughts over consume me again."

Sasaki chuckled, "Don't worry about it. Your father also felt that too, but the difference is…well…he really doesn't like a word..break time.

A cheerful smile began to form on Hatoshi's face and let out a small burst of laughter, lightening up a bitter spark of happiness and relaxation inside the room. One of the people who was fully influenced with the schoolboy smile was none other than Yuna.

The schoolgirl sheepishly giggled before nodding as she received a bright idea to spark a more relaxing feeling by widening her eyes. Yuna nodded and locked the jolly expression towards the household members who remained darting their attention at the news.

"I think I have a good idea to make this afternoon…happier." Yuna announced as she tilted her head and clapped her hands, luring the attention of both Chisato and Hirata.

Hatoshi chortled, "I can take a guess….wanted to make a homemade Ramen party, right Yuna."

Yuna giggled, "Yup, you're correct Hatoshi."

"I really want to cook ramen since last week." Yuna confessed happily, "So it's better we spent our time together on that."

Chisato with fiery excitement stood up and swiftly blew the burdening air away. The housewife darted the excited furrow at Yuna and widely opened her smirk the more she watched the joyful smile of her nephew's friend.

"I do agree with Yuna's idea, today is one of the most hectic days I ever had." Chisato mumbled, "Therefore, it's a perfect choice that we do a family activity together. Am.I correct Sasaki, Hirata?"

Hirata shrugged it off and quickly stood up from the comfy sofa with a jovial wince, "Fine mom. I'll do the cooking time together."

"Yup I do agree with that too." Sasaki admitted, "It's a good way to relieve my stress for today."

Sasaki firmly raised his feet to lift him in a standing position and glared at both Hatoshi and Yuna, opening a wide-excited smirk. Then, he grabbed the black remote and tapped on the red button that shrunk down the news screen into a complete black

Hence, most of the household members were slowly leaving the living as they were ready to initiate the next time-filling activity this afternoon. While Hatoshi glanced to the left first and clenched his fist with the thoughts of becoming a Sparror, invaded his mind.

"Although, I'm still in the break period." Hatoshi uttered through his mind, "I really, really missed doing the hero work especially with this quite large crisis…suddenly happen."

"But, I just wish for you Chemistra and Agano the best on stopping this crime." Hatoshi added within his mind and extended a gladful smile before he joined with the other household members for creating a tasty ramen that potentially could bring a spark of enjoyment and happiness.

The secret base of Chemistra was now filled with two fellow heroes whose Southern Shield leaned his back on the metal wall near the entrance door and Agano who sat on the metal bed with Ryuzen valiantly standing in front of the door. The coldness of the room influenced The Arrogant Shaolin to close his eyes and cross his hands, awaiting for someone.

The fellow heroes darted their awaited stare at the enlarged black-metal containment on the edge of the secret base itself. The containment quickly blew out a steaming smoke throughout every gaping lines on the front part.

The smoke that convinced Agano to stand up and placed his clutching hand beneath the golden mask chin. Then, The Onmyouji tapped the golden mask to call out a wavering, bluish wave on the surface of his golden mask.

The bluish wave incinerated the entire golden surface of the mask in an instance, morphing into a small-golden ball within his grip. It revealed a worried look of Tabata and walked closer at the containment that slid to the left.

Misaki who was now wearing a tight white suit with blue lines shone on the shoulder and had pairs of buttery smooth, metal legs implemented on the two of the decapitated parts, revealed through the fellow hero's eyes. The Chemist slowly opened her eyes that remained blurry for a couple of seconds, before lifting the hefty back of hers.

Then, Misaki began to take the first steps with the left metal legs touching the ground and felt trembling like a person standing on the earthquake. The Chemist gritted her teeth in heating annoyance due to her feet continuously trembling for the first steps.

While Tabata rushed through her direction and offered his opened hand onto hers when he arrived in front of the containment. Misaki gladly let out a smirk and landed her hand onto the gentle palm of The Onmyouji himself.

Afterward, Misaki lifted his other feet onto the ground and slowly took steps with the aid of Tabata who also wrapped her back and tightened the holding grip. Southern Shield opened a slightly-cheerful smirk at The Chemist who sluggishly took steps towards the holographic chair direction.

"I'm gladful that she can restore her legs once again." A voice from Mistress Foreseen announced smoothly through Southern Shield's mind, "Even though her heart was still filled with thoughts of trying to prove something to the Maduruma person. Prove that she can be better than him when completing her own augmentation."

Southern Shield widened her smirk, "That's quite reminiscent of my pathetic self. Except….she's less frustrated."

Mistress Foreseen chuckled, "I agreed with that and I'm surprised you said it without any sense of humility.

"I supposed I'm slowly maturing myself, right now." Southern Shield proudly admitted, "Anyway, if The Chemist Girl really needs my aid on training. I'll be ready."

Southern Shield pinned the watchful stare at Misaki who started to take a seat on the holographic chair. He witnessed the metal legs of The Chemist still trembling as she gritted her teeth and pressed her tightened grip of Tabata when slowly landing on the seat.

Regardless, Misaki was able to sit on the holographic chair and closed her eyes shortly for sensing a bitter calmness and restfulness. The Chemist gazed at the view above that only a metal interior with striking blue lines shone on every gaping line.

Tabata retrieved his helping hand away and tilted his head in a pitying look on seeing Misaki dropping down a line of tears. Watching more tears from The Chemist dropping by on the metal leg, made The Onmyouji winced in worriedness.

"Misaki, are you okay now?" Tabata asked.

"I'm….okay…" Misaki answered with a whimpering expression, "I'm just trying to relax after all of this problem."

The Arrogant Shaolin let out a brief chuckle as he stepped closer onto The Chemist who slowly fell down in desolation with more tears rained down on the metal legs. Southern Shield widened an intriguing grin when he was already near her, readying himself to engage in a conversation with the despondent Misaki.

"Do you still have a drive for proving yourself that you are better than that machine fraud, Chemist girl?" Southern Shield asked with a thrilling tone.

Misaki chortled as she steered her sight full of tears towards Southern Shield, "I..still..have it."

"Then, I'm ready to give some rough training." Southern Shield replied with his fist clenched in heated excitement."

Misaki smirked, "Sure we can have that after I fully turn myself into machine."

"So…I'll…never…feel…disappointment…and…sadness ever again," Misaki stated with a firm tone and wiped away the rapid tears of sadness away from the eye sockets. Tabata could only glance with a concerning look towards The Chemist who got up his stiff back,

"Instead, I'll become a machine like that asshole.'' Misaki confessed firmly, "But, better in every way especially in alignment."

Tabata sighed, "Misaki, are you really sure with that now?"

"I'm sure I'm ready right now and I know…that my father will hate the decision," Misaki replied with an affirmative tone.

Blunt stare colored Misaki's entire face the more she marked her sight at Southern Shield who gave her an impressed grin. The day on for turning himself into an augmented machine was slowly going to fall within The Chemist's unyielding grasp.
