Brief Time to Rest from The Ongoing Struggle

The result of the conversation between her father and sister was quite rough with Misaki leaning the tiring back on the glassy-holographic chair inside the cold-secret base, especially with two hours passed. She briefly closed her eyes for throwing away all burdening thoughts before locking her attention towards the holographic screen in the front.

Grayish-silhouette of the capsule on the corner-left from Misaki's sight was presented on the middle side of the screen. The silhouette acted as the intriguing spotlights of the screen due to Southern Shield who stood behind his fellow friend, darted his sight at the object.

The Arrogant Shaolin also caught other several-silhouette things, which were placed on scattered spots either on the upper or lower part of the capsule. Cotton-white square bracket took the above right spot as it contained a couple of characters that said "65% the process will be ready".

Below the capsule, Southern Shield captured a glimpse of azure ten wires in a horizontal position, safely trapped by the small-square frame. The thrilling smirk was widely opened by The Arrogant Shaolin for glaring at the elongated object after his observant eyes caught the needle tip on each of the wires.

'Planning for creating a new form of the colorful needles, impressive.' Southern Shield praised through his mind, 'Impressive indeed and I fully assumed you will use me as a training partner, Chemist girl.'

"Obviously true, Southern Shield," A gentle voice of Mistress Foreseen emerged through Southern Shield's mind, declaring the telepathic conversation.

Southern Shield giggled and shook his head while engaging in the telepathic conversation, "Okay temple ghost tell me everything about what you just read."

"Chemistra was indeed wanted you to be a fighting partner for testing the capability of her cyber form." Mistress Foreseen foretold the news with a calm tone.

"Quite an interesting matchup, even though she's not as strong as Sparror in every way." Southern Shield professed excitedly.

Mistress Foreseen sighed, "Not strong, but still beneficial for your progress."

"Remember, her flexible Chemical tricks can be a very tricky one to face, '' Mistress Foreseen remarked, ensuring her arrogant friend accepted the capability of Misaki or Chemistra.

"You got a good point too." Southern Shield replied eagerly, "Besides, is there any more information you wanted to share regarding this, Temple Ghost?"

"Not for now." Mistress Foreseen announced with a sigh of relief.

Hence, Southern Shield sharpened the watchful eyes to prolong the swift observation of the screen. He bent his head onto the left side of the screen, witnessing another intriguing object that isolated on the far left spot from the capsule.

A green holographic, bald lady body with bulky armor covered the entire front part and was safely being contained inside the bluish frame. Moreover, the lady's body continuously rotated to every direction available as a display doll stood calmly on top of the twirling tray.

"So this is your own way of improving yourself, Chemist Girl?" Southern Shield guessed with a keening smile bloomed brightly.

At first, Misaki reluctantly as she pinned her head down to gloss over the gleaming holographic keyboard that smoothly hovered below the screen, filling up the willpower to engage the conversation. She glanced her affirmative eyes on the back and gained a glimpse of Southern Shield who had been patiently awaiting her answer.

"Although you already knew the answer from Mistress Foreseen, I'm just going to say yes," Misaki admitted bluntly.

"The last defeat by Maduruma only encouraged me to fasten the cybernation process" Misaki added and raised the clenching fist into his sight, "I'm sure that augmented freak will regret his stupid decision on keeping me alive."

Southern Shield chuckled joyfully, "I like that spirit and determination, Chemist Girl. I know how you felt with that humiliating defeat and I admire you for wanting to improve more about yourself."

"Thanks for the compliment, Southern Shield." Misaki replied happily before she furrowed a stern look towards the screen.

"Anyway, are you ready to become my sparring partner for testing my cybernation form tomorrow?" Misaki added with a firm question, "Because I heard that you could stand a chance against one of The Distrunian."

A burst of jolly laughter from Southern Shield echoed throughout the entire secret base before clearing his throat. The Arrogant Shaolin clenched both of his fists that omitted sparkling golden energy especially when it enveloped his knuckles, embracing the thrilling feeling for the upcoming match.

"Absolutely ready, Chemist Girl." Southern Shield exclaimed pridefully, "Let me remind you this, I will not hold back on the sparring match.

"I indeed appreciate your hospitality, especially that you let me stay here, but when it comes to having a match, of course, I need to win against you." Southern Shield added enthusiastically as he extended his thrilling grin, "So I can be confident in having the rematch with Sparror.

Misaki giggled, "Sparror was right, you are one prideful prick."

"Because it makes me alive." Southern Shield argued with a sparking-confident tone, "Alive as the true Shaolin Warrior."

Around a couple of hours later, the night sky performance on Neo Tokyo finally ended, entering the new relieving day. Furthermore, the late morning soared widely, the piercing light across the entire city that was now filled by a lot of people on the street.

Variative urban screens being planted on the building, billboards, and many more, could now flash on the embarking presentation of the advertisement. Filling up more the energetic crowd of Neo Tokyo city for today.

Masafumi Highschool was one of the places enduring the warming sunlight of this late morning, ascending from the sky above. The sunlight gently touched the transparent honeycomb bubble on the school's rooftop and contained a crowd of students who took all the available seats for their delightful lunchtime.

Such delightful students within the crowd of students Yuna and Hatoshi were already taking their lunch seats and had their delicate lunch box empty. A seat on the very back of the left corner to obtain more sereness with each other, accompanied by two empty seats in the front for their friends.

They gently held their hands together and traded the gleeful smile towards each other. Enjoying the time only by themselves smoothly spread the sense of comfort in the crowded rooftops as the smile kept extending alongside their gentle hands were tightened.

"Eh..Yuna, do you think my step-parents will allow us?" Hatoshi asked with a little bit of anxiousness, "Even though they'll tell the result next Tuesday. Sorry for showing this, I'm just quite skeptical our trip might be got canceled "

Yuna giggled before she gave an encouraging smirk at him, "I believe they will let us go there."

"Other than having Sparror on our side, they are aware that we need time to be alone." Yuna reassured, "We're already a couple in their eyes, not just a best friend or even step-sister. So your step-parents eventually allow us.

"Besides, it's only one time, Hatoshi." Yuna added with an extended encouraging smirk.

Hatoshi chuckled, "Yeah hope so."

"Also I'm surprised Mrs.Chisato actually agreed with the idea. Yuna presumed the conversation with another topic, "While Mr.Sasaki really doesn't like the idea."

"It's more like Uncle Sasaki dislikes how we treat Sparror like..a facilitator." Hatoshi explained, ``I indeed think he is right about that, but the thing is…Sparror really wanted to help me when I asked that."

"I was shocked too to know that." Hatoshi added with a bemused expression the slight experience, "Because I've been friends with superheroes such as Zero. They mostly refuse that kind of request."

"Well, Zero..is not even a human in the first place ." Yuna remarked sprightly, "Second, he is also a strict person too when it comes to handling heroic activity and less empathetic towards human concern."

Hatoshi nodded, "Yeah, I kind of agreed with that."

"I guess…I'm quite lucky to have another superhero friend like Sparror." Hatoshi exclaimed happily with his thoughts projected on his that held Yuna, morphed into an orange armor of the Sparror through his sight.

"Or you just have a special charm on friending a Superhero," Yuna mentioned cheerfully.

"Maybe…" Hatoshi admitted with a sheepish smirk as his thoughts wiped away the traces of the Sparror's armored hand in an instance, restoring the human hand once again.

Afterward, a three familiar presence stumbled into the two high schoolers' front sight. A friendly presence none other than their close classmates, Hina and Satoru who held the lunch box, and Naoki who stood behind the other two.

"Hello, lovebirds." Hina greeted two of her friends with a delightful grin.

Hatoshi chuckled sheepishly, "Hello too, Hina, Satoru, and Naoki."

"So how's the history presentation?" Hatoshi asked.

Naoki sighed in relief, "It went well, luckily as Mr.Kaido is in a good mood."

"Yeah and we already gathered a lot of data since last week." Satoru mumbled with a sign of joyfulness, "Of course, Mr.Kaido will appreciate our effort."

Then, Hina and Satoru decided to take the empty seat and briskly placed their food box onto the table. A gentle smile from Yuna was announced to both of the tiring students who slowly showed a smile after facing the burdening presentation time with Mr. Kaido.

"He will be." Yuna exclaimed as she steered her sight at Hatoshi, convincing him to join the conversation, "Right, Hatoshi?"

"Yes it's true Mr. Kaido will appreciate you when you put a lot of effort into his subjects" Hatoshi explained with a relaxing tone, "Hence, he mostly gave you a good mark."

"Last time, I got around an A on the last assignment since I really put a lot of legible data on, and yes the process may be time-consuming and tiring." Hatoshi added with a reassured tone, "But the end result will be quite satisfying."

"I just can say that you just pretty chill on almost anything, Hatoshi." Hina mumbled, "Since you posted a lot of…Superhero artwork that can take more than an hour, especially for the revision part, am I right?"

Hatoshi chuckled, "You can say that…hehe ."

As the conversation about the Mr.Kaido lesson was presumed, Yuna took notice of Naoki who was still keeping a steady stand. Curious looks emerged within the schoolgirl on watching her fellow friend didn't take any seat or even making an attempt to take a seat.

"Have you already had lunch, Naoki?" Yuna asked calmly.

Naoki gasped as his face boiled in red, "Yes but I only ate boiling eggs."

"You're on diet, right?" Yuna guessed with a widened smile.

"Yup, absolutely…correct, Yuna." Naoki replied sheepishly and darted his sight onto his muscular body.

Yuna giggled, "Good luck, Naoki."

Timid expression overwhelmed Naoki as he bits his lips and steered his attention onto the right, avoiding the shamefulness from his crush. Yuna could only sheepishly shake her head for watching her muscular friend drowned in nervousness.

Whereas, Hina pinched her chin when she glared at Hatosho who was still keeping his chill by opening a resilience smirk. She even tilted her to Yuna for obtaining a new intriguing topic on continuing the discussion with Hatoshi.

"So…before me and the boys came here, were you talking about your dating plan?" Hina asked curiously and hummed.

"Well…yeah we are just discussing the place where we wanted to spend the date," Hatoshi answered with an unnerving furrow.

"Okay…so what kind of place you chose, a mall, fancy restaurants, or something very interesting" Hina blurted out the intriguing question who convinced Hatoshi to chortle briefly.

"As for the place…me and Yuna are still reconsidering it." Hatoshi attempted to release precise information.

"Ah okay, good luck to find a good place for that," Hina said with a cheering smirk.

The lunchtime for the high schoolers with Hatoshi let out a sheepish giggle to the crowd and felt his holding hands were softly tightened by his close partner. Smiling, laughing, and smirking were all present within the five high schoolers as the filling-the-time conversation presumed smoothly.
