Temporary Chillness Within The Training Room

"Telepathic Control shield, I miscalculated that and the new enhancement side effect should immobilize your mind too." Chemistra uttered with utter disbelief, yet blunt tone, "Even though, it will not that much."

Southern Shield chuckled and extended the prideful smirk, "You really think that simple Chemist trick can stop me, sorry no."

"I've recently trained a lot of resistance on crowd control tricks for the past few days." Southern Shield exclaimed excitedly.

"Quite understandable." Chemistra bluntly replied.

Hence, the testing match between Chemistra and Southern Shield had met its endpoint. The Chemist reluctantly nodded her head in defeat, influencing the buzzsaw edge of the golden shield to stall the hurling motion.

It also let the golden shield flee away from Chemistra's chest, leaving a sense of bitter relief with a sigh. Although surging-bluish electricity strings soared on the holed chest temporarily, The Chemist could still grasp a relaxing atmosphere by releasing another sigh.

"You won this match, Southern Shield." Chemistra admitted, "Impressive. You're indeed much better than me, only for now.

"Further improvement will be initiated soon," Chemistra added with a blunt stare.

Southern Shield released a burst of giggles, "Even though you turned into a machine, you still have a strong desire for improvement."

"Being a machine doesn't mean I'm stopping myself from improving." Chemistra argued.

"I quite like hearing that." Southern Shield agreed and extended his smirk and slowly flipped his staggering fingers, "It showed you had a hunger to always become better and stronger than before.

"Especially on anticipating the encounter of the upcoming enemies that might be an unstoppable monster like The Distrunian before." Southern Shield added with his golden shield finally halted beside his left hand. A left hand that created a staggering motion as the gleaming yellow shone within his entire body, flickering constantly like a run-out of battery lamp.

The Chemist tilted her head on furthering the observation of her fellow opponent who slowly regained the motion back. She even watched Southern Shield take a brief sigh before releasing gleeful laughter towards the staggering hand that could now initiate a tightened clench.

Regardless, the gleaming yellow light of Southern Shield vanished in an instant and blessed him with the smooth motion by allowing him to flip his hands. The Arrogant Shaolin closed his eyes in gladness with him rubbing his hand as the time spent with the side effect had met its endpoint.

Enduring the sudden freeze of his motion due to the side effect brought Southern Shield a dreaded experience as he winced on recollecting those moments. He also shook his head shortly before glaring the attention towards Chemistra who crossed both of her hands, calmly awaiting the upcoming conversation.

"So Southern Shield, does this match satisfy your needs?" Chemistra asked.

Southern Shield raised his hand in front of his delighted sight and swiftly clenched it. It vibrated the fist as he expanded the thrilling grin of his, even though a taste of dissatisfaction furrowed down his eyebrows in split seconds.

"To be honest, it's already enough to satisfy my fighting desire, Chemist Girl." Southern Shield remarked in a gratified demeanor, "I'm aware you're not strong as Sparror even with the machine enhancement since his power is out of this world, but there is an important lesson I received from this match."

"What is it?" Chemistra engaged the conversation with a firm tone as she sharply darted her sight at Southern Shield.

Southern Shield chortled happily, "I could fight an opponent that was forced to not let all the attacks hit me."

"Your chemical tricks and side effects are quite frightening to endure. It even convinced me to end the battle quickly." Southern Shield complimented, "The longer I fought you, the more I would fall eventually by all the chemical tricks."

"I indeed can hold the side effect from fully influencing me, but it's not worth the cost in a long time." Southern Shield added and opened a praising smirk, "Which is why I'm quite admiring your skill and the use of power."

Chemistra nodded, "The praise was relieving to hear."

"However, I should be paying more attention to your golden shield and even find an effective way to outwit it," Chemistra exclaimed with a bitter tone.

"Good luck on guessing the finding the weakness of my shield trick, Chemistra." Southern Shield countered excitedly and dropped his prideful jaw, "Because The Golden Distrunian I faced, still had a difficult time dodging it.

"The same Distrunian that knocked out Zero in one swing." Southern Shield added, attempting to grasp the swift victory of the argument with Chemistra.

"It doesn't mean impossible, right Southern Shield?" Chemistra argued bluntly as she darted the domineered stares at Southern Shield. The Arrogant Shaolin reluctantly sighed and shrugged it off.

"You…kind..of..correct about that." Southern Shield replied with an unnerving tone him swallowing the defeat of the argument.

Therefore, the argument ended with Chemistra taking the victor at this time and Southern Shield shook his head in annoyance. The victory influenced The Chemist to sigh calmly for declaring a short celebration.

Although Chemistra was indeed lost the testing match due to Southern Shield's mighty shield trick, at least she did receive an important lesson or even wake up with another idea on improvement. The Chemist clenched her wiry hand into a tightened fist as her mind replayed the exact moment of the golden shield pierced through her chest briefly.

"Besides, your golden shield trick is almost similar to Maduruma's construct when comes to the teleporting movement," Chemistra mentioned with a picture of Maduruma's fleeing-spear construct flashed through her head briefly.

"Fair point. Even though I didn't like that, you compared my trick with the hideous and cowardly robot man." Southern Shield said in an irritated tone and rolled his eyes.

"I only said that based on the information of my human-self battle against Maduruma," Chemistra spoke bluntly.

"Besides, if you think again, it's quite similar too." Chemistra added, attempted to convince Southern Shield, "Maduruma even controlled it with his telepathic."

However, the next round of conversation met a sudden end as a resonating-phone alarm noise emerged across the training room. Southern Shield blew a bothersome air from his throat with the alarm noise kept screaming the out loud noise

While Chemistra raised the blunt stare to the sky-above view and surveyed the surroundings shortly. The thought of stopping the vexing phone alarm overwhelmed her cybernetic mind especially when she clenched the bulky gauntlet briefly.

"Computer, who's trying to make a call on my phone," Chemistra asked harshly.

"Unknown number, unknown number, unknown number." A gentle female voice replied repeatedly.

A frantic gasp was exhaled by Chemistra with the shivering thoughts clouded her judgment. Both of the cybernetic hands trembled in fear due to her mind suddenly flashing a picture of Maduruma giving his delightful look on every torture method he conducted towards her in the past.

The Chemist immediately shook her head as she decided to throw away all of the unnerving and dreaded thoughts of the person behind the unknown numbers. The dreaded thoughts only disturbed the flow of her current path especially when she glossed over the cybernetic surface of her left arm.

'Come on, Chemistra. Chemistra encouraged herself to fight back the influence of the dreaded thoughts that slowly gusted away, 'Keep your fear emotion in check. You already chose this path and there is no turning back anymore.'

'This enhancement was also made on combating Maduruma too and even proof that I'm better than me.' Chemistra added as she sighed reluctantly and raised her cybernetic body in order to reposition a firm stance.

Chemistra grunted with her presuming to encourage her mind on facing this kind of situation 'So, toss aside the irritating thoughts. It only brings suffering then helpfulness for facing that nightmarish monster."

Chemistra swiftly hoisted the bulky gauntlet that clenched the tightened-cybernetic fist to witness the sky-above view of the all-white training room. An assertive demeanor shone brightly within her for firmly facing the almost unending noise of the phone alarm.

"Forward the call, computer," Chemistra commanded with a blunt tone.

Afterward, the alarming noise faded out in an instant and left the room in brief silence. Chemistra crossed her arms exposing the blunt look, awaiting the incoming call of the unknown numbers that would reveal its crystal-clear identity.

While Southern Shield tilted his head to the left and dropped a curious jaw towards Chemistra who remained to keep the bluntness in check. Capturing an echoing, yet calm noise of forwarding call shouted on the entire room, raising the eagerness within The Arrogant Shaolin's thrilling mind.

"I never expected a call from the phone could be transferred within this room." Southern Shield exclaimed with a spark of excitement. "Fascinating."

"Welcome to advanced technology infinite possibility in almost every stuff, Southern Shield," Chemistra replied calmly.

"I see" Southern Shield mumbled with an enlightening little spark of enthusiasm.

Chemistra sighed, "Besides, I suggested you be silent and watch the conversation.

"Even though it's Maduruma who's initiating this call, my command is still the same." Chemistra warned bluntly and assured Southern Shield who raised a puzzling frown, "Do you understand, Southern Shield?"

Southern Shield anxiously nodded, "Sure, I understand your intention on this kind of problem, Chemist Girl."

"Then, it's good to hear that," Chemistra replied as she glared at Southern Shield who put his head down unnervingly. The Chemist turned around the attention on above after her fellow friend was confirmed to take a silent role in this call.

Then, the forwarding noise dropped down into nothing and sharpened the heedful gaze on both of the fighters with Chemistra still keeping her own chill and calmness. Southern Shield raised his head and clenched both of the fists that vastly engulfed golden energy on the knuckle as his sharp hearing caught the sound of distorting breathing echoed on the entire room, forcing him to grit irritated teeth.

"Good Afternoon, Chemistra." A distorted, yet delighted voice of Maduruma emerged across the room. Confirming that he was the person behind the sudden unknown number and readied himself on engaging a delirium argument with his future enforcer, Chemistra.

"So shall we begin our meeting, right now?" Maduruma added joyfully, "I'm very excited to let this moment happen. Seeing that you already improving yourself or..should I say embracing the robot side of your by throwing away the weak human one."
