Chatting and Preparation for The Next Day

The dark-blue sky had risen through the sky scenery as a couple of hours passed smoothly. Radiant moonlight rapidly blessed the chilling presence across the slumbering houses of Neo Tokyo.

Yuna's contracted house was among hundreds or thousands of houses that captured the radiant light on the rooftop. Inside the house, harmony and a serene atmosphere lingered within, especially in the dining room.

The dining room contained four sets of wooden chairs and a rectangular table, standing narrowly of the lime fridge with two pairs of holographic blue lines shone from left to left of the door part. Drawing paper slept quietly on the table and revealed an outline of a half-body, human artwork.

Artwork of a young man with three-lines of beard and wore a doctor coat that covered the side part of his t-shirt A t-shirt with a logo of a muscular man showing off the mountain-shaped muscle and square-shaped glasses shielded his cheerful eyes.

A line of tracing was added on the cheeks from the black-ink pen, pinned at the polished artwork. Hatoshi, who had now replaced his school uniform with a red t-shirt that presented an orange-fireball logo in the middle, tightly held his tracing pen.

Today was quite tiring for him as his thoughts jumbled all the past hours into a short clip of memory footage. Three of the footage were discussed with his senior Tsuko in front of the computer displaying a scratch-design, tiring sigh when witnessing the score of sixty within the screen of his table, and lastly helping Yuna's homework by constantly explaining.

Nonetheless, Hatoshi could still grasp the reposeful atmosphere in this night with presuming the drawing. Yearning smirked slowly extended the thicker the black-tracing outline of the artwork had become due to the continuous tracing.

'Dad, I wished I could actually meet you." Hatoshi uttered through his mind. 'Because I never interact and even really saw you physically."

'I always thought the man who often visited my step-parent's house was my father, but my mom said otherwise.' Hatoshi added. 'She and even my step-parents described that my father was a nerdy young man like me

Hatoshi sighed as he presumed the commentary, 'To be honest, I'm not sure if I can believe that too.'

'Regardless, you already found happiness with Mom in the afterlife.' Hatoshi uttered gladfully. 'While I still continue living as a young man who tossed aside the chance to reunite with you all by becoming a new hero in Neo Tokyo.'

Hatoshi sheepishly chuckled, 'At least, I'm happy I guess with my life, especially that I had a good step-parent and the best partner I've ever had.

'A partner that I would soon bring to the place where she desired the most.' Hatoshi confessed gleefully through his mind, "If…my…step-parent allows it."

Hatoshi keenly put down the tracing pen and glossed over the artwork of his father as the drawing process reached the finished section. The schoolboy expanded both of his feelings of gladness and yearning with him glancing at the polished-artwork of his father who had a peaceful rest in the afterlife.

Nonetheless, Hatoshi still maintained a bullish smile the more he spent his time observing the artwork. A smile that convinced him to lean his back on the chair, inhaling all the relieving air in the surroundings.

The sound of the door being slid was shouted through Hatoshi's calm hearing and switched his sight onto the right. His sheepish eyes watched his close partner, Yuna, recently walked out of her bedroom.

A sparkling cheerful smirk of Yuna widely exposed towards Hatoshi as she continued to approach him. The schoolgirl uniform she still wore tonight raised a puzzling furrow within the schoolboy's sight.

Furthermore, Hatoshi witnessed his close partner wrapped around her clement arms on the neck. Yuna swiftly bent down onto the schoolboy's laps, occupying a seat on, and blocked most of his front sight with her cheering face.

"Eh…I have one question, why…are you still wearing your school uniform?" Hatoshi asked nervously with his trembling began to hug his close partner back.

Yuna giggled, "I'm just quite lazy on changing my clothes tonight. That's the first"

"Second, it's to satisfy your…desire too, Hatoshi," Yuna exclaimed with a joyful tone as she tilted her curious gaze at Hatoshi. The schoolboy immediately let out a burst of sheepish laughter.

"Yeah...I must admit that." Hatoshi admitted while shaking his head in embarrassment, especially with his cheek boiled in red.

"As I told you before, I also like wearing this high-school uniform." Yuna replied and expanded the, "It makes me look young and maybe…beautiful in my own way.

Bemused expression spread out through Hatoshi's face and dropped his jaw shortly, revealing a jolly chortle. The chortle caught Yuna's interest as she felt her close partner tighten the hug and rubbed on the back at the same time.

"Well…whatever." Hatoshi uttered ungainly before blowing out a sigh, "As long as you are comfortable with that..I'm fine."

"Anyway, do you have any other homework related to business..again?" Hatoshi added with blurting out a question, going forward with a new topic of discussion.

Yuna hummed briefly, "Luckily, not anymore."

Afterward, Yuna's curiosity encouraged her head to turn around at the paper lying down on the wooden table. A paper containing artwork of a young man with glasses became the center of the schoolgirl's attention as she tilted her head back and forth.

While Hatoshi darted an unnerving furrow towards his close partner who still sharpened the curious gaze onto the artwork of his father. He also steadily watched Yuna placing her fingers on the paper and sliding closer into her sight, presuming the short inspection.

"Is that a drawing of your father again?" Yuna asked curiously

Hatoshi groaned, "Yes, I'm just trying to fill more time."

"I am still…eager..to meet him and even want to talk like father and son." Hatoshi uttered, "I'm sorry suddenly those thoughts appeared."

Yuna sighed, "It's okay, Hatoshi. It's normal when you're an orphan. I also felt the same way too sometimes, especially with my mom."

"Eh..did you have any problem between you and your mom before she passed away?" Hatoshi asked with a pitying look.

"Yes, I never…made her happy…on everything," Yuna uttered with a despondency that overwhelmed her voice, creating a concerned frown on Hatoshi's face.

Witnessing her close partner begin to fall into worriedness after she revealed little pieces of the melancholic past, Yuna released a cheerful giggle. Furthermore, the schoolgirl colored her entire lips with a sprightly smile toward the worried Hatoshi.

"Let's just put those thoughts aside and talk about our upcoming trip to Yukisari Hills. Did you agree with that Hatoshi?" Yuna reassured with a jolly, yet convincing tone.

Hatoshi chuckled and washed away traces of the concerning thoughts by raising a smirk, "Yeah, I agreed with that. Sometimes remembering the..tragic past only brought pain inside."

"Anyway, can you describe the unique things within the Yukisari Hills?" Hatoshi asked calmly.

Yuna giggled, "Well…for that..it's better for you to find out by yourself."

"Oh come on, you're the one who convinced me to talk about the trip. You should answer that question, Yuna." Hatoshi was baffled with a brief burst of laughter. He heaved one of his hands onto Yuna's cheek, convincing her to change the giggle into a sheepish chuckle.

"I heard there was some unique phenomenon there like the colorful aurora at night," Hatoshi added. "Something you probably know well since you have been there."

"If I describe that, it will only ruin the surprise." Yuna countered with a jolly tone, "But, I can tell you the perfect time to see the aurora."

"You must go…there at 11 PM or 12 to see the aurora, am I right?" Hatoshi guessed excitedly.

"Actually it's 10 PM..based on my experience," Yuna answered with a relaxing tone before another giggle was released.

Hatoshi sighed in relief and placed his hand down from Yuna's cheek with a sparkling smile emerging through his face "Well…I see."

"I hope next week my stepparents can permit us to go there." Hatoshi murmured and released an annoyed grunt, "Ah damn it, I should explain more in detail, especially the time back then."

'It's okay, you did your best. I really appreciate your courage and effort to tell them." Yuna praised joyfully.

"Thanks for that praise, Yuna," Hatoshi uttered.

An arousing look clouded the high schooler's entire face especially with both of them slowly pushing their lips onto one another. Sound of gentle kissing and moaning smoothly entered the diner room.

Smooching noise also joined the scene as Hatoshi thrust deeper his lips at his close partner and caressed the pale white thigh of Yuna, heating up the lustful sensation within. Thus, the sweet making out was the perfect choice for ending their long night-time conversation.

The next day had arisen in the sky above and greeted the entire world, such as Neo Tokyo city. However, the cloudy sky with dark-gray clouds was the one taking the role as a main spotlight of the early morning section.

Even though there was no sign of rain appearing in the naked eyes, a presence of gleaming sunlight did not show up. Prime Minister's House was one of the few buildings, awaiting the sunlight that emerged to give the warm touch on the cold rooftop.

In front of the enlarged fences, Southern Shield crossed his arms and rapidly tapped his left foot. He was indeed waiting for someone important to make the morning debut in front of his eagle-eyes sight as he locked his stares to the right.

Luckily, the waiting time for Southern Shield ended with him witnessing Chemistra take a single leap that hovered on the spot inch higher than the fence tip. The Chemist thrust her feet to create a smooth landing on the ground, keeping her firm standing position at the same time.

"Welcome back, Chemist Girl." Southern Shield greeted his cyber friend with a thrilling smile.

The Chemist steered her blunt stare at Southern Shield who began to take a step forward into her direction and stopped when he touched the near distance of his fellow friend. Regardless, Chemistra grunted as she was ready to engage in a conversation with The Shaolin Warrior.

"Southern Shield, remember your objective." Chemistra reminded coldly.

Southern Shield chuckled, "Protecting your family as a bodyguard. Sure."

"Also, Agano will aid you too, just in case," Chemistra remarked.

"Fine. Besides, I prefer to be a bodyguard rather than facing that cybernetic freak." Southern Shield exclaimed with a burning irritation, "Because facing a coward and a fool is not my way."

"Anyway, I wish you luck." Southern Shield added and opened a proud smile."

"Thank you, Southern Shield," Chemistra replied.

Therefore, Chemistra decided to survey buildings across The Prime Minister's house for finding a landing spot. A landing spot that opened a pathway of her morning activity, finding and settling the matter with The Machine Herald himself, Maduruma.
