Chapter 60- Future?

(This chapter includes torture scenes and might be a bit gory.)

------

Shortly after *Sachiko left, a young woman entered the room, her long ash blonde hair swinging side by side as she walked. She stopped her tracks when she got to the sofa and sat on the floor in front of it.

On the sofa was unconscious Sachiko.

The woman took a glance at Sachiko's face and then her injured neck rather worriedly as her brown eyes studied the wound.

*Sachiko told her that Sachiko wouldn't die but it was her job to make her wake up soon.

When she asked why she didn't just heal her so that she could wake up, *Sachiko just shrugged it off and said, "She's already lucky that I didn't kill her on the spot or leave her so that the Jujutsu sorcerers can take her away."

So, she ended up coming here to patch up the wound.

After that, she sat on one of the armchairs and waited for *Sachiko to come back, eyeing at the sofa where Sachiko was lying from time to time while she did so.

*Sachiko didn't come back for a few hours.

---------------------

After leaving the room, *Sachiko stormed off to a closed off area before activating her domain.

But, she wasn't the only one standing inside. There was Kenjaku in Geto Suguru's body.

"It's all your fault!"

*Sachiko screamed, cutting through Kenjaku's head.

Kenjaku laughed, but it was like a mocking laugh for *Sachiko.

She looked mad as she stabbed his forehead and cut the brain out before squishing it with her cursed energy.

"It's all your fault!!"

She said before reviving Kenjaku again.

"Or is it?"

Kenjaku asks with a grin.

"It's! your! fault!!"

Kenjaku was cut in two pieces by her cursed energy.

Then, a second later, he was revived again.

"Why are you so mad? Does it hit a nerve?"

*Sachiko didn't answer, instead she ripped his body into pieces, then took out the brain and stomped on it.

Until the brain was completely gone.

And, she revived him again, repeating the cycle.

"You know what? I killed a version of you."

"Congrats?"

"But it's never enough. Even if you die a million times, it will never be."

"Why do you keep doing this?" He asked.

"Because you took Satoru away from me and it's because of you I lost everything , everyone..even myself."

*Sachiko chuckled darkly.

"Is it, Nakamura Sachiko? Is it really so?" Kenjaku asked while looking her in the eyes.

*Sachiko used her cursed energy katana to gouge his eyes out before squishing the head with cursed energy.

"You started everything !"

She told him despite the fact that she already killed him.

Then, she fixed him up before leaving so that she could repeat this cycle the next time she was irritated.

----------------------

Sachiko saw Megumi, Itadori, Nobara and Nanami walked into the school and how the encounter with Riko went, including the events that escalated from there.

How her classmates started to doubt her as they met Junpei's mother and learnt about the bully ending up at a psychiatric ward.

How the higher ups finally deemed her as a traitor.

How the whole incident at Shibuya happened.

How she lost Satoru.

How her mom stabbed her with a knife.

And, it was all painful.

Sachiko wished it to stop already. She thought if she just gave up and die, then she wouldn't have to face all of these again. But, here she was, forced to watch how the events unfolded.

For a second, she wished she had fought back, instead of giving up that time. Maybe she wouldn't be seeing all of these, then.

However, there was no way she could change anything now.

"This is nothing yet. You should see what would happen in the end."

She heard a voice shortly before the scene changed.

Satoru fell lifeless onto the ground, the wound in his chest still bleeding.

The pool of blood on the ground made Sachiko nauseous, as she knew whose blood that was.

She saw herself hugging his lifeless body tight and screaming in pain.

Then, she shook her head and started to make desperate attempts to revive him, only to fail miserably.

And just like that, she lost him.

It seemed that Satoru was the last string holding her sanity in place.

Sachiko saw herself laughing like an insane person, then held a katana with her hands stained with Satoru's blood.

She destroyed everything afterwards.

And, Sachiko had to watch it all happen.

So much destruction and it was so depressing.

"What is this...?"

"No...it can't be one of the possiblies..."

Sachiko couldn't find any words to say, every word that came out of her mouth was like a mumble.

Sachiko didn't know what to do at first.

She only knew that she wanted Satoru back and she didn't want him to get hurt.

'I won't be able to do anything if I die..'

Sachiko realized that, but the guilt was so much to bear.

'But, was I able to do something back then? I let them take him away. I was pathetic.'

'Staying like this is making it worse. You're supposed to save Satoru!' She told herself.

'That's right. He believed me...' Sachiko realized. 'I can't give up. I have to save him.'

But, to do so, she have to get up and fight back.

After making up her mind, Sachiko started to test if she could heal herself in this state.

It took a while to get herself to heal and eventually, the wound on her neck healed.

But, the scar remained.

Sachiko decided that she was going to find out why her mom did that and that is going to be a reminder of that day.
