Chapter 62- Conversation with *Sachiko

Sachiko was caught off guard by the sudden revelation for a moment but eventually she managed to snap out of it.

'I should've expected something like this. She probably used Possibility to do things she did in Shibuya.'

Sachiko felt weak standing in front of her when she recalled everything that happened in Shibuya and it was even worse when she realized that Sachiko probably did everything using the exact same ability she had.

"That's right , I am you. Not from your world or timeline but still we are the same person at core. At least, that's what I like to think." *Sachiko said, walking towards her with a smile.

Sachiko would call it a fake smile, however.

She didn't even try to hide her displeasure and sent a deadly glare when *Sachiko put a hand on her shoulders.

"Come on, don't be that tense. You know I don't want to kill you, right?" *Sachiko said.

"Why not? You took Satoru away from me. I don't know how but mom... tried to kill me and..Yumi too, she was on your side and was still alive just a moment ago.. Why did you do that?" Sachiko replied, holding prison realm in her hands as tightly as she could.

"Isn't it clear? I hate you." *Sachiko said, "I hate that you have all things I don't have anymore and be with all people I can't be with anymore. And I hate that you have no idea about the future, your nativity and how you get overwhelmed by stupid emotions..I hate everything about you."

"Because all of these are like constant reminders of how I failed.. You're pathetic and it just make me feel angry just by looking at you. If you weren't that pathetic and could use your abilities better, maybe Satoru would still be with you instead of being sealed in the prison realm." *Sachiko continued with mockery.

"Maybe. But I'm not letting him down again." Sachiko told her, promising herself to not let go of the prison realm. She was going to bring it with her and then free Satoru, she decided.

"Then, let me see what you can do. Come on, go ahead." *Sachiko said as if she was confident that she could win against Sachiko easily.

And, she did.

When Sachiko tried to trap her in her domain so that she could get away with prison realm, *Sachiko cancelled it out easily.

Despite their powers were supposedly equal to each other, *Sachiko knew how to use them better and she could bring out more of its potential while Sachiko on the other hand was still learning on the restrictions and how jto reduce those restraints to use it more efficiently.

So, it was no wonder when Sachiko was bound by *Sachiko's cursed energy with the prison realm taken away from her.

Then, Sachiko was put back onto a sofa, the cursed energy threads still binding her and canceling out her use of cursed energy.

"Now, listen to me first if you ever want to see your Satoru again." *Sachiko said with a smile.

Sachiko clenched her fists but she had no choice but to hear her out.

"Great! Do you want some red wine? It's my favourite." *Sachiko hummed, sitting down on the sofa unhurriedly.

"Just get to the business." Sachiko barked.

"Hmm..How about no?" *Sachiko played the prison realm which was now in her hands and then looked to the door and said, "Yumi, can you bring two glasses of red wine to us?"

"Sure, Sachiko chan."

To Sachiko's surprise, Yumi smiled and said.

Seeing Sachiko's expression, *Sachiko laughed.

"Do you see this power? We can make our loved ones even out of cursed energy so that we never would have to worry about getting them hurt. They even listen to you. Isn't it nice?"

"You...you made them like puppets?" Sachiko clearly didn't expect that.

"Why did you do that? Especially to mom and Yumi..what did they even do?" She asked.

"They did. They left me." *Sachiko answered. "Mom said she was staying by my side no matter what happen but it was all lies."

She rubbed the scar on her neck and laughed almost bitterly, "When she knew the real me, she didn't hesitate to stab my neck with a cursed tool she got from a Jujutsu sorcerer."

"I ended up killing her when I lost myself in anger because of her betrayal. When I realized what was going on, she was already dead, her lifeless body even starting to stiffen. I cried bit no tears came out. Then, I realized...I could trust no one. Back then, I just wanted someone to be at my side. I didn't know what I did wrong." *Sachiko continued. "But now I do." She took a glance at Yumi.

"What about Satoru? What happened to him?" Sachiko asked. Surely, Satoru wouldn't have left her alone like that, right?

"Satoru? He left when he knew I changed. Or when he knew the real 'me'. He said it hurt him so much to see how much I changed and that he couldn't do it anymore as me being beside him made me end up like this or something like that." *Sachiko slightly shook her head with a sad smile.

"So, let me get this straight. You decided to stir up all these troubles because Satoru left, mom died and you being left alone? You're just ruining everything here with your selfishness." Sachiko said. "Everything would've been fine if you just didn't show up. Besides , you're sick to make human puppets, especially to the ones you claim you love."

"That's a bit rude to put the blame like that on me, you know ? I just made them out of cursed energy after duplicating their soul and split them into pieces to put into different bodies. That way, I can always make sure that they stay by my side at all times. I just wanted to make sure they don't leave me again." *Sachiko told her.

"They are not even the ones from your world if what you're saying is true." Sachiko said.

*Sachiko looked disturbed for a second after Sachiko mentioned that. Only after a moment she continued , "Why is it my fault that I want to stay with them? Why should I care what method I use to bring them back? Come on, you should be the one to understand me. Do you think your little classmates will welcome you back? No, right? And what did your mom do in Shibuya? Stab you in the back? You should know how to use your powers to make them stay with you. If you don't, what's the point of it?"

"I'm not listening to you. Back in Shibuya....mom..wasn't even my mom, was she? You made it up. You made a puppet to kill me and made me think it was mom." Sachiko retorted, having figured it out after seeing two Yumi-s manipulated by *Sachiko.

"Bingo! Should I congragulate you for figuring it out? even though it wasn't that difficult to begin with." *Sachiko's voice was full of mockery.

"What did you do to her?"

"Oh...she's alive. Didn't need to kill her to get a fragment of her soul." *Sachiko shrugged.

Sachiko checked the possibility of her mom being alive and sighed in relief. It seemed that *Sachiko really didn't kill her or harm her.

'At least she's not in danger for now. I have to find her after I get Satoru back.' Sachiko thought. 'Now if I can distract her for a while , will I be able to get prison realm back?'

"Why.. did you do all that? And why did you want Satoru? Are you going to turn him into one of your puppets as well?!" Sachiko guessed.

"No, of course not." *Sachiko looked down at the prison realm in her hands, "Satoru's different. He has always been. He never would have allowed that to happen because he's.. too prideful for his own good."

"Then, what do you want? What did you want so much that you ruined everything? If you just wanted mom and Yumi.. you didn't have to go this far." Sachiko asked.

"Have you not been listening? I want Satoru, too. I am going to bring him back."

"And how are you going to achieve that?"

Sachiko found herself asking.

"Well, join me." *Sachiko said. "I will tell you everything."

"And of course, you will get your Satoru back."

*Sachiko said with a smile.
