Chapter 5

It was the next morning as Isaac woke up before seven o'clock without an alarm. He turned to his side and saw Felicity across from him in her own bed as she was hugging her bear.

"Does she always have to sleep with him?" Isaac asked in his mind.

We then see Isaac use the bathroom and then head over to the kitchen as he started making breakfast. He was making pancake batter, until someone knocked on his door. He headed over to the door, opened it and saw the gang in their indoor clothes.

"Come on in, you guys." Said Isaac.

"Did you start already?" Garry asked.

"No, just started making the batter." Said Isaac.

"I'll help." Said Iris as they all moved into the kitchen.

"(Sniffs) Man, that batter smells really good." Said Marcus.

"I also brought different types of maple syrup." Said Scarlet

"Even blueberry?" Franklin asked.

"Even blueberry." Scarlet replied, showing the syrup bottle.

"Man, I love pancake Wednesday!" Said Garry as they all sat down.

"So, who's going to share some blood today?" Violet asked as her mouth drooled.

Everyone slid or stood away from her as she gave a pouty face, while upset.

"Oh, c'mon, guys! I haven't fed in a long time!" Violet whined.

"Who's turn is it this time?" Franklin asked.

"I think it's Marcus's turn." Said Garry.

"You just had to say something." Said Marcus as he glared at Garry.

"Oh, Marcus~. What does a girl have to do to get some blood?" Violet asked as she caressed her finger on his arm.

"S-Stop! Here, let's get this over with." Said Marcus as he held his arm to her.

"Oh, thank you~!" Violet replied with joy, while grabbing his arm.

She then wiped his arm with a napkin and held his arm close to her face. She then sunk her teeth into his arm and started to feed on him.

"I can't watch." Scarlet replied as she turned away with her hand on her mouth.

"Easy, Vi. Don't want Marcus to pass out." Said Isaac.

"Good morning, everyone." Said Felicity as everyone replied back.

"Grr murn'in." Said Violet, while her mouth was still on Marcus's arm.

"Please, don't talk." Said Marcus.

"Is it bad if I stare?" Felicity asked.

"Technically, yeah, it's rude." Said Jasper.

"Alright, you guys. What do you want in you pancakes?" Isaac asked.

"Everything! Said Garry.

"Strawberries." Said Scarlet.

"Bananas." Said Jasper.

"Blueberries." Said Franklin.

"Chocolate." Said Marcus.

"Felicity…?" Isaac asked.

"What are you making?" Felicity asked.

"Pancakes. Have you had them before?" Isaac asked.

"No." Felicity replied as she shook her head.

Everyone looked at her surprised as it was moments later and everyone was watching her with a plate of stacked pancakes in front of her.

"Go ahead, try it." Said Garry, handing her a fork.

Felicity then grabbed a fork and cut off a piece as she used her fork to eat the piece. She took a whole bit as her fork was in her mouth. Felicity blushed at how good it was as everyone smiled or chuckled at her response.

"It's so delicious~!" Said Felicity.

"Here, try some syrup." Said Scarlet.

"And do you do this all the time?" Felicity asked.

"Only on Wednesdays. Eat up, guys." Said Isaac as he and Iris served.

"Alright!" Said Garry.

"Thank you." Said Scarlet.

"It looks great." Said Franklin.

"Uh, are you really going to eat like that?" Jasper asked as Violet was still feeding on Marcus.

"I don't care. I'm hungry." Said Marcus as he started to eat.

It would be moments later as they left the dorm and they all were in their uniforms as Felicity was in her casual clothes that she just got. They were walking on the campus's main grounds as Felicity was amazed by the many students there of different races and ethnicities. The gang was walking together as a group, while Isaac and Felicity were ahead of everyone.

"Wow, there's so many students here. Are they all humans and monsters?" Felicity asked.

"Yeah, that's what Merlin intended for this school. For all races to coexist with each other. For example, our team." Said Isaac as Violet stood with him.

"Which in my opinion, we're like, the best team ever!" Said Violet.

"You're just saying that because you think you're the best fighter." Said Marcus.

"Well, it's true." Said Violet, cocky with her arms crossed.

"Uh, not true. I'm the best fighter." Said Marcus.

"Pff, what?" Violet responded.

"You want to go, Turner? Because I'll take you on anywhere, anytime." Said Marcus as he cracked his knuckles.

"Oh, then call me the can opener. Because I'm going to bust open a can of whop ass!" Said Violet with confident smile.

"That was a comeback. Anyway, you all play nice and get to class. I'm going to take Felicity to Merlin's office." Said Isaac.

"See you later then." Said Franklin.

"Bye, Isaac. Bye, Felicity!" Said Scarlet.

They both left as Violet and Marcus were struggling their hands on each other's shoulders. We then see Isaac and Felicity arrive at the dean's office as the assistant was at her desk. She was a young European lady with dark brown hair and green eyes. She was properly dressed, until she yawn and showed that she had sharp teeth.

"Long night, Camille?" Isaac asked.

"Yes, I was on a date. Until I was stood up." Said Camille, speaking in a French accent.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." Said Isaac.

"Thanks, but I'm fine. I went back home and ate some ice cream." Said Camille.

"An entire tub, huh?" Isaac asked.

"A-Anyhow! Mr. Ambrosius has been waiting for you." Said Camille.

"Uh, thanks you, Camille. Just go in, Felicity. I have to head to class. Just head back to the dorm when you're done. Oh, and here's the key. I had a spar made for you." Said Isaac as he handed it to her.

"Okay. Bye Isaac." Said Felicity as she held the key with both hands.

"Bye. Bye, Camille." Said Isaac as he left.

"Don't worry. You'll find someone." Said Felicity to Camille as she went into the office.

"Thank you. I really need that." Said Camille.

They both enter Merlin's office as it was a large room that had many books on the selves, artifacts and relics incased in glass, while his staff was nearby his desk. Merlin was writing with a pen as Felicity reached him.

"Sit, Felicity. And help yourself to some candy." Said Merlin as he pointed at a jar.

She sat down, while she grabbed a piece of candy. She unwrapped it and put it in her mouth as Merlin sighed.

"Now, then. Thank you, Felicity for coming. I know it must be hard for you after the events that have happened. But you seem to be doing better." Said Merlin.

"Thanks to Isaac and his friends. They've been kind and welcoming." Said Felicity.

"That's good to hear. And the reason I asked Isaac to bring you here was to ask some questions. Would you like to attend this school?" Merlin asked.

"W-What? Can I?" Felicity asked.

"Any person who is willing to be a hunter is welcomed here. Would you, though?" Merlin asked.

"Yes! I want to attend this school. I…I want to make sure…what happened that day won't happen again. I want to be like Isaac and the others. I want to help others." Said Felicity.

"I thought you'd say that. But attending won't be free, of course. Not to bring you down." Said Merlin.

"Oh. I don't have any money." Said Felicity with a sad look.

"Do not fret. I have programs here to help students pay off their education." Said Merlin.

"Then I'll do it. Thank you, Mr. Merlin." Said Felicity as she stood up quickly.

"That was fast. And Merlin is just fine." Said Merlin.

"Either way, thank you!" Felicity.

"I'll send a uniform to Isaac's dorm for you. You need to fill these papers out as well." Said Merlin as he handed her some papers.

"Right. I'll do these as soon as I can." Said Felicity.

Meanwhile, Isaac, Violet, Marcus and Jasper were at their homeroom as the teacher wasn't there again. Marcus had his head down; Jasper was just sitting listening to his music with his headphones and Violet was talking with Isaac.

"No teacher again. I never thought to say this. But man I wish we had a teacher." Said Violet.

"Not me. I'm going to take a nap." Said Marcus.

"Don't be lazy." Said Violet as Marcus growled at her.

"Oh, thank goodness. No teacher today." Said Christine as she walked into class.

She was catching her breath and made her way to her desk. As she made her way up, she tripped as Isaac placed his hand on her side, stopping her from completely falling as she stood back up.

"Are you alright?" Isaac asked.

"Uh, yeah. Thanks for the save. I'm such a klutz today. My alarm didn't go off, so I had to run over to class and then this. And did you do that with one arm?" Said Christine.

"Yeah, you're pretty light." Said Isaac.

"Oh, thanks. You're probably just strong." Said Christine.

"She totally has a crush on Isaac." Said Violet as she stood between Marcus and Jasper and forced them to huddle together.

"Yeah, I don't care." Said Marcus.

"What are we talking about?" Jasper asked, lifting his right headphone up.

"I wonder why Mrs. Calicut hasn't come back?" Christine asked.

"Merlin told me that she's helping with an investigation. It's taking longer than he thought, so he's getting a new teacher." Said Isaac.

"I wonder who's it going to be." Said Christine.

"Hopefully, someone not too hard." Said Isaac.

"You know who they should get? You're old teacher." Said Christine asked.

"Van? No, I doubt he would have time to teach students." Said Isaac.

"Aw, look at those two talking." Said Violet.

"Why do you ship them so much?" Marcus asked.

"Because I care about Isaac getting with a nice girl. You should too since you're his best bro." Said Violet.

"Best bro…?" Marcus responded.

"You know, best friend." Said Violet.

"His compadre." Said Jasper.

"Yeah, thanks, Jasper." Said Violet.

"I know what it means! But if you were Isaac's friend, you would know that he's focus on something more important than girls. Now, let me sleep." Said Marcus with his down.

"Aw, so you do listen to him." Said Violet.

"Shut up." Said Marcus.
