Training Day

Meanwhile with Aiden, as soon as he woke up, he was already doing intensive training which was tiring and draining lots of his energy due to lack of training with his physical activity. This meant that it had become an incredible liability to himself since he couldn't handle the training that was gifted by Paradox, "Don't give up Aiden.. it will never work unless you put your time and soul into what you're doing." Aiden mocked Paradox on what he had told him and replied, "Easy for you you're not the guy who doesn't have to do this nightmare." Paradox wrote down something in a notebook while observing Aiden and the problems that Aiden was facing since doing the training made it even hard for him to even consider what he had to decide on.

"I will help you in this training with a little story...

Once upon a time, there lived a hare. The hare could run very fast. It was proud of its speed. One day, the hare saw the tortoise walk very slowly. The hare laughed at the tortoise and said, "You are such a slowcoach!" "My dear friend! You are so proud of your speed. Let's have a race to see who is faster," the tortoise said.

So, the hare and the tortoise raced. The hare ran very fast and very far. After a while, the hare turned back to see where the tortoise was. The tortoise was walking very slowly and it was far behind the hare. "The tortoise will take a very long time to come near me," the hare thought.

The hare started feeling bored. He thought to take a nap. In the meantime, he began to eat the grass. After eating, he went to sleep. The tortoise slowly but steadily passed the hare. The hare suddenly woke up and saw the tortoise just crossing the finishing line.

The hare started running very fast. But it was too late. The tortoise already won the race. The hare was extremely disappointed to find his competitor already there as a winner.

So tell me young one, what does this story showing?"

Aiden didn't know what to say about that story since all he knows about that story is how the hare let his pride cost him the race but he also thought about what the tortoise was doing, he used the hare's pride as an advantage and how it leads to someone like a tortoise to win the race and thought what it meant for both him and the story and he had it. "I think I get it... the tortoise didn't need the pride to win, he had to take It slow and steady and that allowed him to win but the hare saw himself better than the rest and that meant that he had to pride in what he was doing and it wasn't even positive but it was negative... then we were the same, I'm the hare... I thought about my pride and I had given up. That's the meaning, isn't it?" Paradox then smiled and stopped the training program, "It seems that even the powerful Aiden Masters still has something that he needs to learn." Aiden asked what he meant by that and replied "What you must know isn't the present but the future in which lies ahead mysteries that you don't even know about... and maybe one day... we'll have our answers..." Paradox mouthed something that Aiden was sure that Paradox was saying, 'son'. "What do you mean Son? I'm not your son." Paradox chuckled and replied, "I know you're not but I'll tell you what you are ... you're an assassin at heart."

Aiden felt annoyed by what he was having to hear but Paradox then told Aiden to have patience and that was all Aiden needed to have and it felt like Aiden still had a little bit of pride in him. Paradox then taught Aiden what he needed to know of the dangers and what he must accomplish and Paradox opened portals on which Aiden was given choices in where he would like to go but first... he needed to complete his training and it will be around another 2 to 3 years.... yep this is not a joke my friends.
