Dispute

"What took you so long Luna?", Katy said as I went back to the crowd

"Dad called when I was in the bathroom so it took me so long, sorry that I made you wait", I said timidly, making an excuse

"Shit, maybe you just shittin there right?", Jericho's voice echoed, 'damn annoying'

Rolling my eyes towards him, I said "You are the shit! Your bangs is a shit!", I yelled madly!

"HAHAHAHAHA", everyone's voice sounded, they always found our feud's hilarious...

"Stop with the fight both of you, let's go to our class now, me might be late", Felix said, curtailing our nonsensical argument

Finding out that the class was nearing, we then walked towards our room, talking and laughing at times

"Wait, did you smell that?", Katy stopped

"Smell what?"

"Hmmm, shit, it smells shit", Katy smirked as she looked at me, 'damn that Jericho! I'm embarrassed now!'

"HAHAHAHAHA"

The next day...

It was the same as usual, with Trayson asked to wake me up, then me annoying him early in the morning.

"Come here Jericho, a hug, give your sister a hug!"

"No!!!!, Get away from me you stinky breath!"

"Wahh, Ill catch you!"

This setting happened almost every day, with Mom asking Trayson to wake me up and having everyone finding it hilarious, laughing so hard.

However, this time, I didn't hear Mom, nor Dad's laughter. It's as if they didn't find it funny but that would be impossible since they were the roots of this gleeful idea.

I stopped chasing Trayson and looked around our house. We were in the kitchen right now. No sight of Mom nor Dad was found. It's so bleak.

'Thud, thud, thud', my heart started racing

I was nervous.

"Trayson, where are Dad and Mom?", I shouted to Trayson who only ceased at his running after hearing my uneasy tone, and had stopped to look around the kitchen, searching for Mam and Dad too.

"They were here just a moment ago, Mom even told me to wake you up", he uttered while pointing at the chair and table with food on it.

His answer made me more nervous, this was unusual, for this family at least.

Just after he said that, a creaking was heard as our front door opened. I speedily went towards the living room only to see a masculine, bald guy entering, it was Dad, looking agitated about something.

"Listen Luna when the Association asked you just say you don't know anything okay?", Dad said without pause, after walking speedily towards me, grabbing both my shoulder, making me felt his hands that were shaking scarcely.

He was nervous!

Dad shook me lightly again as I was lost in my thought, "Did you understand what I said Luna?", he added

Only then did I answered, "Y-yes, Dad", I spoke though oblivious to what he wanted to pertain

Relieved, he smiled lightly. However, it changed again once Mom entered the house, opening the door then spoke. "They're here"

I was confused on who were the people Mom was referring to, until -

'Eng..eng...eng"

A police siren was heard.

I didn't want to believe that its the police she was referring to, but Dad's action only confirmed my unwanted assumption.

He let go of my shoulder, kissed my forehead, locked me into his broad arms, then do the same with Trayson.

Tears left my eyes unknowingly, I didn't like his action, it felt like he was bidding farewell and I didn't like that.

Seconds later, a group of people wearing coats, with badges on them, entered the house. They were the Association. The one who maintained peace in this perilous world.

Without even bidding a greeting, the man in the lead went directly towards Dad, with gaze unnerving, he held Dad's collar tightly.

"Where the heck did you hide the file Adam!", he uttered furiously

Mom, on the other hand, was unbothered by his action, and just snickered, "It seems that you've grown some balls, William, seeing you dare to do that to Adam. Perhaps, you forgot what happened the last time you did that?"

William, or so what Mom called the man on the lead, lighten his grip on Dad's collar, seemingly afraid by Mom's words, and shortly let go of Dad, as he slowly loosened his expression.

He then looked around the house and spotted both me and Trayson. His looks brought me a shiver, causing me to reached out for Trayson and hugged him. I'm afraid and nervous at the same time.

He then walked towards us, giggling every time, also revealing maniacal looks.

"Ho, ho, I don't know that you have such a beautiful daughter Adam", he laughed, while looking at me, then Dad, revealing a grin.

Dad's emotion riled up, he was near on snapping out earlier and after hearing William's words, he didn't even dared hold his emotion back and shouted.

"Don't you even dare touch her William or else I will show you true hell!", Dad shouted violently

'Hik'

Trayson unknowingly let out a moan, he was shocked! I was too. It's our first time seeing Dad got mad like that. His expression even got me, her daughter feels scared for a moment.

However, William's expression didn't change, or maybe he was trying his best to mask his fear. He just walked towards me once again, then put his finger on my face, seemingly caressing it, "Don't be mad Adam, I'm just stating the fact, ho, ho, I didn't mean any har..."

"I warned you", a word was heard behind him, halting his word.

"Just what do you mea--", William's about to speak again but it was at this moment -

'Shkk', echoed on the room as something fluid splattered all around

I looked at the fluid that was now sprayed on the floor and wall alike. I even had something sprayed on my clothes and face. It was bloody red.

No guesses were needed to know what it was.

"B---- blood!", Trayson cried out then bend on his knee, throwing up wildly

Everyone was stunned at this realization, even I was. I was near to throwing up, but fortunately, I was able to hold it back, or so what I thought, cause after tracing at the source of the blood, I saw William's right hand was cut off, oozing out blood all over the floor.

However, it didn't end there, I saw further in the back, witnessing a headless body laying on the floor. Five people in total.

"Grughhhh", I puked!

It was too much. Seeing a severed head up close causes me to nearly lose my sanity. Something then slid towards me.

"Wahhkkk", I shouted, seeing the severed head rolling towards me, with its eyes still open, gazing at me madly

"Just what did you do Adam!", William uttered furiously after seeing 5 of his members live perished

It was fast, way too fast. The killings were. No one notices who or when did the attack come, but I knew one guy who could do this. 'Dad!'

While on my knees, I looked at him. His face was calm as ever as if he was used to killing. Mom was alike, she was snickering actually.

"He told you right, he warned you not to touch Luna and yet you dare to", Mom said

"Shut up Lorna! I'm not talking to you!", William yelled at Mom

He had lost his arm and 5 of his members, so truly, he was insanely mad.

"Just do what you have to do, you're here for me and Lorna right? So get it done. We'll come with you. Just don't get the children involved or else..."

"O--- or else?"

"Or else I'll fly into rage here", Dad uttered calmly as he looked at William's shaking eyes

"Hik!"

"HAHAHA, stop it, Adam, you're getting our little William terrified", Mom snickered

"F-- fine! I will leave the children alone, but be sure to come with me, unless you want to fight with the entire Association too", William said then looked at his remaining 1 acquaintance, nodding after

The man in a coat walked towards us, with his face full of fear from the event earlier, he stopped and asked timidly...

"Did you know anything about your Dad's crime?", the man said, trying to hide some details

I remembered what Dad said prior, 'Listen Luna when the Association asked you just say you don't know anything okay', he had said

Following his words, I spoke, "N---- no, I don't know anything", Trayson then followed after

"I-- I d--- don't know anything t--too", he was shaking so I hugged him tightly.

Seconds had passed with the man just looking, then...

"They are telling the truth, they are clueless about this all", He said looking at William

"You got your answer William, now follow your words and leave", Mom smirked

After glaring at Mom, William replied, " Fine, fine, come with us you two and we'll leave the children alone"
