I was roaming the palace halls, pretending to be a servant. My heart drummed when I first saw her. Jasmine’s cat-like green eyes haunted me from the moment that I had met her. The new maid in our Saudi palace was everything I had ever dreamed of; a body that made every man kneel, her intelligence was beyond imagination and her passion set my whole world on fire.

Although I knew she truly loved me, her love for me was more like a game of push and pull. She did not wish to marry anyone, and certainly not me. 

Meeting Saphira back home in Malibu USA, had seemed like a welcome distraction. And although I resisted, we had deeply fallen. It was not something I could easily take back... Saphira was not everything that I had once dreamed of, and I certainly did not plan to love her. But I did regardless, irrevocably so.

Love Untangled

"I would love it?" I echoed Raina. "Of course you do," she said shrugging. "Don't you?" Raina asked while she comfortably placed a blanket across her legs. I poured myself a glass of whiskey and drank it in one go. Then I poured myself another.

"What aren't you telling me?" Raina asked. "I have fallen in love," I said shaking my head. "Oh come on, don't act like that is such a secret. We all know about you and Jasmine," she cooed.

I took another sip of my drink. "Her name is Saphira," I said. "Huh.." Was all Raina could manage. "Are you sure?" Raina asked looking at the sealing.

"Yes," I breathed. "So you no longer have feelings for Jasmine?" she questioned. I wanted to say no, but that would hardly be the truth.

The door opened. "My lady Jasmine is here your highness. She says princess Raina has invited her to watch a movie," my guard said.
