First C-rank [Team-7]

After finally completing many chores and tasks around the village the Genin were finally given a C-rank mission. It was a simple escort mission.

Sakura paused as she looked at the picture right beside her bed.

"Better to be safe than sorry."-Sakura

Determined to make sure the mission was successful, she quickly grabbed all of the supplies she'd need. She had gotten the list from Kakashi-sensei.

"I grabbed the med kit, extra kunai and shuriken, also extra clothes, some ration bars and all of the usual stuff."-Sakura

Carefully putting the poisons in her pockets and there antidots in the backpack, she got herself a light breakfast and moved out.

Reaching the place at the given time, she noticed their teacher was actually on time for once. That was a pleasant surprise. Even Naruto wasn't late. Giving the blond an apple to eat, because she'd realized that he didn't take care of himself if Veronica wasn't there to reprimand him, they all continued on their way.

She asked a few questions about the location they were heading too and when the subject went to a man named Gato, she noticed the bridge builder flinching.

'Odd.'

Deciding to keep an on him, she slightly motioned for Sasuke that the man was being suspicious. He seemed to have understood as he moved a bit closer to the man, keeping his eyes on his hands and feet.

He looked cool and calm as always.

Naruto then threw a kunai in the bushes. Apparently, he'd heard something.

"Ahh!!! I'm sorry rabbit!"-Naruto

He kept apologizing as Sakura shook her head. The blond was as dumb as usual.

However, it was still a very good day for all of them. Even though they were on a mission, she still enjoyed being out of Konoha. It had been a very long time since she'd stepped out of the gates. Shaking her head to get rid of the unwanted memories rising in her head, she noticed two attackers.

Immediately, a kunai was out in her hand while she looked on the now battlefield to see everyone's positions.

Sasuke was already attacking at one of the brothers while Naruto dodged an attack from the brothers. Her teacher was dead. However, she still quickly ran towards Tazuna and deflected a chain coming his way.

The fight was over soon.

Kakashi-sensei turned out to be alive, as she felt herself relax.

The two of them were tied up as Kakashi glanced at Tazuna once before letting out a sigh. He kept moving forward with the team after telling the team to improve themselves and also praising them for protecting the client.

'I didn't even do anything.'

Gritting her teeth a bit, she took in a deep breath before quickly following her team.

The next attack was one that made all of the children realize that being a ninja, a shinobi, was more than just a walk in the park.

"Zabuza Momochi. Demon of the hidden Mist."-Kakashi

Sakura knew who he was, she'd heard of his killings and the fear he'd caused. She knew that only Kakashi-sensei would stand a chance against him and she needed to make sure that the boys wouldn't get in the way of the fight and protect the client.

Mist covered all of them as the team, except Kakashi, shivered at the killing intent.

Forcing her hands to make signs she formed a wind jutsu. The mist was quickly pushed away as she breathed a sigh of relief. Noticing Sasuke and Naruto did the same, she was reminded of just how wrong this mission was going.

A simple C-rank mission had turned into a possible A-rank mission now. This was not safe. Hopefully, they'd be paid more than the original amount though.

The three kids were circled around Tazuna, ready to protect him from all attacks yet also staring intensely at the battle ahead of them.

The biggest surprise till now might have been the fact that Kakashi had a sharingan. Although Sakura did see Sasuke stiffen and even glare at the man, possibly thinking of him as a dojutsu thief, she decided to ignore it. Even Naruto hesitated to say anything to Sasuke right now.

The battle between the two men was amazing yet also scary.

Kakashi's chakra levels were going down rapidly while Zabuza was still good enough to send two clones to attack the rest of the team, while fighting.

She saw Naruto make some shadow clones and nodding at Sasuke.

The two launched towards Zabuza, while Kakashi was copying Zabuza'a signs. It was a very risky move. A second later, they might've gotten hit by both of their jutsus. She heard Kakashi yell at the boys and she whole heartedly agreed with him. How stupid were they?

She noticed an opening at Zabuza's right side while he dodged Naruto's clone, which turned into a giant shuriken, and Sasuke's fire jutsu. Praying to the gods that her aim was still as good as it was in practice, she threw two shuriken towards the man. She did try to put some chakra into them and she could see it worked as they were much faster. Hitting his right arm while he blocked Naruto's clone.

She would need to thank Tenten for giving her so many tips.

An unknown ninja came and killed[?] Zabuza saying that their village had been hunting the man down for ages now. They didn't have much choice except letting him take the man after checking his pulse.

They were all exhausted. Both mentally and physically.
