So we had managed to try out alot of carnival booths, and gotten icecream, though Tyler was currently feeling like throwing up because I and the Icecream guy dared him to finish a cone of chocolate ice cream which he did, he would not have to pay for the Icecream I wanted which would cost alot of money because I literally wanted five toppings.
Tyler, anyway, was not a fan of chocolate, so it was the funniest thing watching him scoop some in his mouth and make puke noises everytime.
I of course, did a video of it, and also had the one in which he couldn't take it anymore, when he was already so close to finishing it and puked.
Now, I pay his back as he keeps on puking out whatever was in his stomach system with the additional chocolate as he stops retching for q minute and looks up at me, his eyes and face red "Can't believe that bastard still collected the cash"
I shrug " a deal is a deal"
"It's just unfair" He says then adds with a pout "I was already half way through and I really had this magical.idea that we would kiss after I won and you would like kissing me because I taste like icecream and you like icecream"
"Awwwn" I say smiling "I'd kiss you no matter what you taste like"
He brightens up immediately and tries to get closer "Really?"
I put my hand in between us almost as fast as he got close "Except when you have vomit breath"
He groans loud and begins to make a disgusted face "What made me even after to this? Christ"
As he kept on moving his tongue around his mouth, his face scrubbing up more, I look around and suddenly see a booth that has headlights flashing the words.
'Fortune telling: Would you like to know your future?'
I begin to jump up and down "There! Let's go there!"
His eyes move to the booth as he groans again "Everyone knows that those people don't really do anything except say obvious things like, you're going to get married, and your kids would look like you, which we don't really need to waste my money on"
"How would we know if we don't try, hmmm?" Before he gets a chance to complain again, I run along with him moving closer to the tent.
As we enter, I notice the darkness of the room, except the glowing light from a fairy lantern in the front.
I wasn't sure what I thought the place would smell like but all it smelt of was something close to grass when it was wet, or rain itself.
"Come closer young ones"
And her voice.
I wasn't also sure what I expected to meet or hear, but it definitely wasn't what I ended up seeing.
A lady, not more than thirty I was sure, has a turban over her hair, with dark glowing skin and light mayo, then jewellery jingling all over her and a casual blouse and long skirt, sitting with her legs crossed and a table infront of her that held cards.
She gave us a small smile as she pointed at the empty space infront of her "Come sit"
I happily did, and Tyler ended up joining, his face not really so in the whole mood of it all as the lady begins to hum some melody as I stare readily while Tyler just keeps his bored poker face on before she says "It would be hard to keep him here if he would be just a critical. His spiritual negative energy is destroying my vibe"
The woes she had used could not have shocked Tyler or me more, cause even though I chuckle, he just keeps this hurt face as she says "Tell him to leave"
I turn to him "Ty. ..."
"No fucking way" He cut in "She probably just wants me to leave so she can suck your pockets dry"
I sigh "It's literally your pockets in this story but okay"
"And I don't trust her" He completed with a final tone "People like her don't really see anything...."
"You'd be bald ten years from now"
"And...." Tyler suddenly stops his talk to me short as he faces her "What?"
Her eyes were still closed as she continues to hum then say "Bald like a baby's bottom"
I feel a laugh bubbling up to the surface as. Tyler faces me "That's not true!"
"It's in the family Ty, your old man has it, your granddad had it, you definetely will" She continues.
"No!" Tyler snaps and faces me "I won't, yes, okay it's in the family but it's obvious cause everyone knows my family line, we've lived the longest in Winter lake so it is not uncommon information...."
"Tyler" I cut in "Take a deep breath"
He stares into my eyes, his wild ones skelly getting dilated again as he sighs "I'm sorry"
"You can go if you're not comfortable really" I say "I'd be fine. If I'm not, I'd scream for you"
"Loud?" He asks.
I nod "Like a fucking siren"
That makes him smile as he stand up "Okay, cool, fine, I'd be outside waiting for you okay?"
I nod as he doesn't spare the woman a second glance before she leaves with me watching him.
"That one loves you"
I face her "Saw that in his future?"
She chuckles "No darling. It's just obvious, he sends it off really, and no, I didn't see his future. I can't really see much without physical contact or interaction, just wanted him out of here so I could focus solely on you"
"Oh"
I look down at the cards on the table as I say "So I'm supposed to pick?"
"Naturally" She replies "But your spiritual level is really high, literally. I can see people's level by the aura they present, usually comes in colours, yours is a bright white which is shocking because I've never seen it before"
"And Tyler?" I ask.
She shakes her head "Nothing at all I'm afraid"
I nod, now suddenly feeling unsure of what I was doing here, my anxiety panic attack waking up before I feel her hands hold mine and lift it up, her eyes looking into mine as she says "Relax"
As if those words hold infinite power, i feel myself actually calm down before her own eyes close and she begins to hum again, her face blank until her eyebrows begin to twitch again as she says "I can't see your future....."
"What does that....."
She raised a finger up, silencing me "There's a.... A garden, and a man... A very... Handsome one to be exact, and he's talking to a winged creature... Obviously angry...."
Kim....
The voice in my head that said it made me freak out but she still continues "He's... He's being told to leave the garden, but... No, no he's happy leaving, but there's something else he wants to know...."
I'm suddenly feeling cold, like the temperature in the place had dropped "So many lives... So many he has killed... Just to find her. He has lived in the darkness for too long and the pain and loneliness has consumed him... He was once pure but now he battles with the terrible voices in his head.... He must have her back.... Because she can help him... She can help him return back to his rightful place ...."
Rightful place?
"You must first be the darkness to see the importance of the light...."
This sentence, she repeats it numerously, until it becomes a mumble of incoherent words which suddenly makes me jerk my hand away as she gasps and opens her eyes, facing me now.
I hold my hand to my chest "Are you... Are you okay?"
"You're not safe" She suddenly snaps.
Her voice is harsh as she suddenly opens the table infront of her and brings out a stone, setting it on my lap "Here. This will keep him away from you but only for a while"
"What?"
"And do not bother to pay me" She cuts in "Please have a nice day""
I stare at her,now confused about the new sudden reaction she was having before I stand up, the stone in my grasp as I put it in my jacket pocket and walk outside.
Oh course, Tyler is waiting there and he grabs me in his arms "Finally. How much was it?"
"She's not collecting any money" I say, absentmindedly.
He stares at me "Huh? Why?"
I just shake my head.
He sighs and wraps his hand around my neck "Strange. Anyway, let's go before she changes her mind. Up for milkshakes?"
