Lying Again

"Don't be too confident, Farel. Who wants to look for you?"

Zulfa felt extraordinary shortness of breath remembering the words she said to Farel. She shed tears seeing Farel leave who didn't care at all about her words. The man had always acted casually, but she could never fight back. It could be a sin for her to challenge or throw another sentence that provokes disobedience to her husband.

She is one hundred percent sure that if her husband will go to Rani's house to eat there, there is no more plausible reason than that. Who else is the reason for Farel to leave her other than Rani? Previously, she did not know who Farel's lover was, even the man had never told her. All she did was wait, always waiting for the uncertain.

Waiting is the most annoying thing in this world. She never had enough patience in waiting. But, for the sake of a Farel, she is willing to do things she doesn't like to become what she usually does.

I don't know what magic Farel gave, what was clear was that the man always made her unable to move at all. It seemed like he didn't want to be at such a disadvantage. Only earning a living in terms of material which every week is transferred millions of money into her account, but she does not get the slightest love from her husband. If it was like this, would it still be worth it for her to maintain this unhealthy marriage?

Even if she wanted to leave, she had no apparent reason to hide this matter from everyone. But if she was honest, Farel would regret and feel ashamed. Ah yes, even her heart still pities Farel.

All decisions are in Zulfa's hands, whether to stay or leave. She is very bad at making decisions. Maybe she'll regret it later, but she can be happy with her loneliness and open a new page of life with someone new too.

Zulfa is a figure who is quite difficult to return to take over the new circumstances that enter her life. So maybe it's better --personally-- she'd rather stay in this position. Swallow bitterness in every incident in her life.

With a slight sigh, she wiped the tears that had fallen from the corners of her eyes. She chose to turn off the television that had accompanied the emptiness around her and began to rise from her seat. Today was the schedule for grocery shopping and various household utensils needed to be replaced, so she couldn't be stuck in such a miserable atmosphere.

Because prolonged sadness is completely unable to remove and treat scars on the heart. Tears are only able to relieve feelings, not get rid of the tightness forever that perches in the chest.

"ZULFA!"

Zulfa jumped in surprise hearing a scream so loud that it filled every corner of the room, she turned to the source of the sound and found her friend who had no manners had entered her house screaming like in the forest.

"Assalamualaikum first, Dea." She said with a small smile. She would not blame the presence of a girl who came suddenly without the slightest greeting. Instead, she hoped that her arrival would make the feelings in her heart feel better now.

Her name is Diandra Yulia, a girl who is very active and looks very annoying, especially when she is talking, don't ask how much of an annoying feeling there is as a result.

Look, now the girl is sitting in her living room waving her palms.

"Waalaikumsalam, I'm thirsty, Fa. Please make me drink!" She said as if she had just come out of the desert which made the walls of her throat numb and dry. She didn't forget to also wipe the beads of sweat that landed on her temples, as if to imply that she was thirsty.

It's true, today is hot. For some reason, the air always managed to make the walls of her throat feel dry and like she was choking on something. And of course, that made her need a liquid that could revive the energy in her body.

"Why are you here?" Zulfa asked in a slightly annoyed tone, she didn't even respond to Dea's words asking for a drink because she was thirsty.

Zulfa glared annoyed because after marrying Farel, Dea never contacted her and suddenly came alone without texting or calling her first.

It's annoying, isn't it? She couldn't understand the brain performance of the only friend she had.

Dea chuckled. "I want to play in your big house." She said casually as she reached for the jar of snacks that was always available on the guest table. Her hand had opened the lid of the jar to take the cake and take a delicious bite of it. This is one of the destinations that make her feel at home for long at her friends' houses, so what else makes more sense than to eat?

After all, apart from feeling thirsty, she was also hungry considering she was here to hunt for food. Say if she is a friend who is not very troublesome, but the truth is that she is. She was too hungry and didn't have time to buy food. After all, today's money was meant to be saved so she could buy other, more useful things. Therefore, Zulfa's house is the solution.

Not wanting to linger with this one friend, she prefers to say goodbye to her room and again ignores Dea's words who are now screaming for a glass of water. Just let one human being thirsty, even though the girl can take it herself in the kitchen area. Even the girl did not need to be pampered to be brought a glass of water. Whether it's mineral water, bottled juice, or fruit syrup, everything is available cold in the refrigerator. Just take it, and drink to wet the walls of her throat. Complete and of course simply because there is no need to bother to present it.

She quickly put on a long navy robe with a gray hijab. She took the sling bag that was on the nightstand and checked whether it was complete. A cell phone, wallet, and a few makeup kits are already there just in case. Okay, if she feels like everything is complete, she just left the room.

An ordinary appearance that adds to the level of beauty of a woman like her. Covering the genitals so that the curves of the body are not visible, even the chest is covered by a long hijab. Very suitable as a dream wife, but that never applies to a Farel who appreciates affection for another girl who looks 180 degrees compared to Zulfa Naraya.

"Where are you going? You are so beautiful like you want to go to the Koran for mothers," said Dea commenting on Zulfa's current appearance, now she has tasted the cookies that the owner of this house deliberately put in a jar and placed it on the table, just in case Farel's guests or co-workers come, for coffee or tea with friends.

Zulfa sighed. "Want to go shopping, are you coming?" She asked. Although sometimes she gets annoyed with Dea's behavior, it's no wonder she invites a friend as a shopping buddy. When she was alone, she was bound to be the center of everyone's attention. And she was very uncomfortable about it. She is like a human without friends, no one to accompany her on a walk.

No need to explain how Dea reacted, without further ado, the girl stood up straight while squealing with joy. "COURSE! LET'S GO!" She shouted excitedly.

This is what Dea is most looking forward to because she will be treated to various types of food and goods, but of course within reasonable limits considering the price. This is just a parable, after all, she has an ATM card that contains salary savings while working. There are only a few to fulfill daily life.

"Ask to be paid to eat with me? It's not too capital." Zulfa said with a small laugh, just a light joke...

Dea who heard it immediately scratched the back of her neck that didn't itch while laughing a little. "Yes sorry, Madame Brahmana."

Zulfa just shook her head and took the car keys which were placed behind the table lamp near some expensive jars of Farel's collection. "Come on, close the jar first, don't carry it around."

With her trademark grin, Dea immediately closed the jar of snacks she had eaten. "Well come on, where are we going?" She asked, clapping her hands which had cookie crumbs on them.

"Monthly shopping, keep asking again?" Zulfa replied.

Dea raised an eyebrow, confused because her best friend was already married. Why don't you ask for a company?

"Where's Mas Farel? I haven't met him. So why don't you go shopping with him?"

Zulfa smiled bitterly. Even to accompany Zulfa to watch television, Farel always refuses, how about being asked to leave the house just for shopping? What she got was a sentence of rejection that hurt and pierced her heart. Sick.

With the remaining energy, a very sweet smile was etched on Zulfa's face. "Farel has an urgent meeting, so he can't accompany me shopping." She said with a hint of a lie.

Dea just nodded. "It's good to be rich, money is everywhere. But the weakness is that it's crazy about work."

Zulfa just smiled, Dea didn't know anything about all this. She just doesn't want to make other people worry about the condition of her household which is never fine. With a heavy heart, she lied about all of this. Looking fine is a good idea, at least for now.

"Would you like to talk more or go shopping with me?" Zulfa asked with a look that was already very lazy. After all, if you want to come along, come on, don't procrastinate. Indeed, Dea never changed her behavior, it just got more annoying.

Dea nodded her head firmly, she couldn't possibly waste this opportunity. Is not it?

"But don't forget to pay for my meal, okay?"
