Blast

"Hmm... Boss....." heard a male voice from the other side of the phone.

Joel looked at the called Id as it was not his brother who picked up his phone. Seeing that it was indeed his number he talked again,

"Who are you? Why is Juan's phone with you? Where is he?" Joel asked in a cold voice unlike his usually bubbly personality around his friends and family.

"Boss, This is David reporting from the nearby village. Sir is in an emergency meeting right now. He had left his phone with me. We tried to reach you but we couldn't connect with you yesterday night. Boss please immediately come to the nearby village. There is an emergency."

Joel furrowed his brows, "Alright! I will be there."

He cut the call and checked his call logs. Indeed there were so many calls but he didn't receive them as he was in the forest. And he didn't pay attention to it as he was searching for Juan.

Joel immediately got dressed and drove towards the location his subordinates sent. He was briefed about the situation on his way. Apparently, one of their diamond mine in Russia has been blasted. The mine was destroyed and there is a lot of casualties.

Joel cursed hearing it. He sped up his SUV and reached the place. He entered the meeting room and sat. Juan was meeting the higher officials in the video conference. Juan just glanced at him and continued discussing.

Joel immediately contacted various higher officials from Russia and spoke about the countermeasures. As so many people were killed in the mine it would affect the Liu conglomerate and the brothers also wanted to do theirs almost for the causality's families.

After Hours and hours of meeting, they decided on priorities and the twins will fly to the Mine to investigate.

Juan and Joel headed back to their cottage and will fly to Russia directly.

Aiden immediately went out as soon as he heard the car's sound, "How is the situation?"

Joel shook his head, "Very bad. There are a lot of casualties. We still don't know the cause of the blast. We are still looking into it. But we need to go there to speed up things. Company's share is already dropping badly."

Aiden nodded his head with furrowed brows. He got the news of the blast after Joel left the cottage. His assistant informed him of the news. But he didn't call the brothers as it was not the time for him to ask for the details. He knows how badly this will impact the company.

"Let me know if I could help with something," Aiden added and the trio went inside the house.

Aiden called the girls and told them about the mine blast.

"Where are Juan and Joel? What is the situation of the company? Are they going to Russia now?" Lyra immediately asked him knowing the severity of the situation.

"The stocks are dropping rapidly. They don't have time. They are departing in 10 minutes from the helipad in the back."

"There is a helipad?" Tara asked surprised.

"Yes, it is in the backside. You haven't gone that side yet."

Tara didn't ask further as she felt she shouldn't. It was better for her to stay out of Juan's business until she gets rid of her feelings.

Oona immediately went to Joel and talked with him. The girls and Aiden watched as Joel and Juan flew away.

Lyra sighed worriedly, "Should we also return?"

Aiden nodded his head as he too has lost interest in the trip now. They were resting and trying to overcome jetlag the previous day. They were supposed to go out today but before that Juan and Joel had to leave them.

Oona and Tara too nodded their heads in agreement and the group packed their things to return back home. Aiden drove to the airport and they reached R country in the middle of the night.

"Where are you guys going? Aiden and I are going to Paradise apartments." Lyra asked.

"We are also going to our apartments. I will visit my parents tomorrow." Oona answered followed by Tara who also lives there on the same property but in a different wing.

The group already moved out of their family mansion and lives in paradise apartments but they occasionally visit their parents and stay with them.

The next day Lyra and Oona drove to REVEL while Tara drove to her company 'TAARAHA' which she created in her second year in college and is currently one of the top jewellery brands. Just like she wished she made a brand and got all the upper-class customers from century-old brands. She brought her brand to so much height in the 3 years.

While REVEL was already big when the duo was in college. Now their market is so high and the brand is also one of the top international clothing brands.

On the Aiden went to the Lu conglomerate and felt like crying seeing all the stacked files which he needs to go through. He felt like cursing everyone. Who said if you CEO you can come and go to work as per your wish as it is your company. He was the one working overtime every single time! His sly old man was tricked into this!! He will seek justice one day! Hmph!

"Why am I the one leading the company? Lyra is there too. I want a rich spoiled kid life. But here I am working my ass off while everyone is enjoying!"

"You brat are you cursing me again?" heard an old yet firm voice of a man.

"Grandpa, what are you doing here?"

Aiden asked looking at grandfather Lu.

"This brat! Can't I come to visit my grandson? Do I need a reason to see you?"

"Hmph! Don't lie old man. You set up another blind date for me, didn't you? I am telling you I am not going to see anyone. If you force me, I will release an article about me that I am gay. Do you want that?" Aiden threatened.

"You... You... Are you trying to anger me to death? If you do that then you will be removed from your position," grandfather Lu pointed at him and shouted.

"Even better! I didn't want to be CEO anyway," Aiden taunted angering him further.

"I don't want to talk to you. You will send me to grave in 5 minutes if I keep talking to you" grandfather spat and went back

Aiden just snorted and continued his work.
