Bomb

"Boss, Sir, We have the report and pictures captured from the retrieved CCTVs, " Kai, Juan's assistant told them.

"Sir I have brought the CCTV footage, Please take a look," said Henrik who was Joel's assistant.

Kai and Henrik was Juan and Joel's assistant who had been with them since they were toddlers. Both are orphans but were picked by previous the Liu family patriarch to train with the twins to become one of their trusted aids. Basically along with Juan, Joel and Aiden; Henrik and Kai too hung out with them. Still, they are very close. They hung out with the young masters when there is a gathering among guys.

While Joel checked the CCTV, Juan read the documents.

After the Twins landed, their team informed them that the mine was bombarded. As they already expected this to be the case they started looking into suspects who could have brought the bomb inside.

"Brother check this guy this in the picture he is behaving abnormally," Joel said pointing at the picture in Juan's hand and then to the screen.

"Who is he?" questioned Juan who looked at the suspicious behaviour of the guy.

"Sir, we have already checked there isn't anything out of normal. He is one of the workers there. We did a background check too but there is nothing suspicious. His wife passed away in childbirth. He has a daughter and she is doing well. There is neither debt nor any other problem. his daughter is studying through a scholarship. We also checked her schedule for the past 2 months. She goes to college, visits the library and returns home. She never even met any friends outside of college," Informed Henrik of all the details they collected.

"Any boyfriend?" Joel asked.

"No, sir," Kai answered but showed him the call logs of the worker. There was a lot of international call history but when traced back it led to normal citizens. Who had lived as a neighbour before?

"It is easy to get illegal sims. Check deeper." Juan ordered.

"Yes, sir," Henrik and Kai went out to continue the further investigation.

"I am gonna skin whichever bastard who did this!" Joel grumbled out.

He slouched on the couch rubbing his aching head. It has been more than 27 hours. They hadn't even got a wink of sleep since they came here.

Juan handed him a glass of water and continued looking at the documents.

"Are the families settled?" Juan asked after some time.

"We have offered compensation and most of the families have accepted it. And it was also reported in the news that our safety measures were on point and the blast has happened due to external forces.

But as expected there are people who don't believe this and blame us. They think that the government is siding with us and helping us. Stocks are still plummeting but not as rapidly as before. One of us should return back to handle the company there. Decide and tell me." Joel said and exhaled loudly.

"Let's go to the hotel. Let's talk after we take some rest." Juan said and the brothers took some rest.

After 3 weeks,

"Boss we have found the culprit," said Kai running towards Juan and Joel who were holding a video conference with the company.

Juan and Joel closed the meeting and turned to Kai.

"Boss, see this, it was the Xi family's young master who was behind this." Henrik showed them the proof and the brothers checked through it.

The Xi family, though not as big as the Liu's, Lu's and Su's but influential up to some degree. The Xi members are very power hungry and they are insanely obsessive with the top position. They are also involved in the underworld and do all sorts of drugs, human traffic and so on.

"He doesn't have the power to do this alone," Joel stated.

"Boss, we don't have concrete evidence but I feel like the Xi family joined hands with AZURA," Kai said his assumption.

"This style is Azura's style of attacking. But it can also be copied, investigate further," Juan said.

"Yes, boss." Henrik and Kai responded.

Joel jumped on his feet as soon they left, "Brother I will go crazy with all these. Let's go to some party."

"Our work is done here. We will return tomorrow. Rest then," Juan rejected him.

"Don't be like this. I really wonder how did you share a womb with me when you are so different from me? Brother though you are not as handsome as me still your good looks are gone to waste. Let's go party. I am not listening to you today. Come on, come on," Joel acted like a clingy girlfriend annoying Juan.

"And I highly doubt if you are still a man. You never had any physical relationship with tara, right? You are still a virgin, aren't you? And I don't think you will ever use your jewel. So come with to the club and let's try to stimulate you else I fear that your jewel will be rusted and can not be put to use ever," Joel snorted and taunted him making Juan jump to his feet.

"Ow ow, Brother, You are killing me. cough* Let go. Cough* Cough*" Juan choked Joel by wrapping his arms around the latter's neck.

"Dare talk nonsense again, I will toss you to our side brand in Africa and you will never hear R country again," Juan threatened him with a cold voice. He let go of him and pushed Joel aside.

"Hmph. If only he was not my brother, I would have disowned this rude punk!" Joel angrily spat dusting his ass.

"What?" Juan glared and raised his eyebrows making Joel run for his life.

"I should call to my baby. I am so pissed by my stone-faced brother." Joel pouted and called Oona.

"Hello."

"Baby, Juan is trying to anger me to death. I called him for a party but he refused and even bet me." Joel complained like a kid.

Oona rolled her eyes, "You must have spouted some nonsense for him to react like that. Better if he even beats your death."

"So heartless. Don't worry I will never let go of you in this lifetime. Wait for me, baby." Joel blew a kiss and cut the call as he knew she will erupt like a volcano.
