(Trouble in the Empire.)

Chapter six:

Sorry to say this to you guys but I've got the Royal Flush. Said Cale Lestin.

The other Stormtroopers threw down their card's and started yelling stuff as they walked away. Thanks for the credits, Rift said while picking up his money it was sad really because Rift had been left to keep watch over the Death Star.

The Emperor had went back to Coruscant and his Master was still handling things on Mustafar so he was practically all alone except for the thousands of Stormtroopers that were in the Death Star. Lord Rift, an officer said. What is it Commanded? Asked Cale Lestin.

Mara Jade has just arrived to refill her supplies. I just thought you might want to know. Said the Commander.

Thank you officer. You are dismissed. Said Cale Lestin. Rift had learned a lot about Mara Jade. She was the Emperor's favorite amongst the Emperor's Hand's and she could hear the Emperor's command's across the galaxy better than anyone except maybe his Master. In the beginning she was just like Rift himself.

Mara Jade had been taken away from her family by the Emperor. The Emperor held her in the most highest esteem. It was rumored that she could even match Vader in lightsaber skill and in Force powers. He had to see this woman.

She had the figure of a dancer. Long blonde red hair, and piercing green eyes, and she was only two years older him. Rift bowed as Mara Jade walked passed him. Mara Jade suddenly stopped when she looked at the young boy before her.

This must be Vader's apprentice that so many Imperials had talked about. She was so sick of hearing about him when an evil smile came to her lips. Let's just see how really good you are Darth Rift. Said Mara Jade.

Rift jumped up from his bow to see what she had to say. I have heard stories about you and I think you are a great warrior. Said Mara Jade. Rift nodded his head and said. Thank you Miss Jade.

So what do you say that you and I have a lightsaber duel against some robot's just for fun? Mara Jade asked him. Rift wasn't sure about this the robot's seemed much stronger than him and would beat him for sure, but knowing that Ja-ni would be by his side gave him some hope. When and where shall we meet Mara? Cale Lestin asked her.

I'm tired right now so we shall meet in this very place in two hours. Replied Mara Jade as she smiled at her new friend.

Rift was in Darth Vader's personal training room. He would practice with the droids for an hour then rest for an hour. The two droids came at him with speed no human or Stormtrooper could match. He dodged the droids by stepping backwards and came at them in a W formation.

He stepped forward and swiftly cut the droids head off. Then stepped back again to get away from the other droids attack. He came forward and used Force crush to shatter the droid into millions of pieces.

Mara Jade didn't train. She just sat there reading a book because she knew they were going to win with the ace she had up her sleeve.

When Cale Lestin was done with his training, he tied Mara Jade's long red hair into a ponytail like she asked for.

The two of them then stepped forward, igniting their lightsabers. Let's see which is better an Emperor's Hand and a Sith Lord, or a bunch of practice droids. Mara Jade said smiling at her new friend, and Cale smiled back at her. Mara Jade and Cale jumped up and almost touched the ceiling. They came down as their blade's met the practice droids.
