Chapter 48

"See you later babe", Isaac says and shuts the door. I smile and walk towards the queen sized bed in the middle of the room. I carefully tuck Javier in and I hear a knock.

I open the door to see a man with both my suitcases. I move aside and he doesn't go far into my room. He just drops the suitcases and looks at me, "alpha Harry would like to inform you that dinner is by seven. We look forward to seeing you"

I thank him and he leaves. I unpack both suitcases and arrange Javier and I's belonging in the wide closets. When I'm done, I make myself comfortable on the red sofa with my phone in hand.

'You should be ashamed of yourself. I just met an 11 year old boy who has more moves than you' I text Casper.

'Is that so?'

'Is he better looking than me?', He send immediately after.

'Yes. He is so much better looking'

'Does he make you laugh as much as I do?'

'You don't even make me laugh'

'Does he think that you're beautiful?'

'I'm very attractive'

'Does he think that you're the most amazing woman in the world?'

'Yes'

'Does he kiss better than me?'

'I bet he does'

'Does he make you as good as I do?'

'I think that's just you'

'Do you want me right now?'

I bite my lips and softly moan.

'Maybe'

My phone rings and Casper's name flashes.

"You're making want to come over there", his voice is low.

"I really miss you", I murmur.

"You have no idea. Are you okay over there?"

"Hmmmm. We're settled in and Javier is asleep"

"The plane is about to take off but please be careful and send my greeting to alpha harry"

"And you should also be safe okay? Don't hold any information you get. I want to know what's also going on"

He chuckles, "sure I will. I love you"

"Love you too"

The call ends and I let out a long sigh and stretch my legs. I decide to stay in bed with Javier when I hear a knock.

"Who's there?", I say and slightly open the door.

I see Violet standing in front of me with a box of cupcakes.

"Um—hi"

"Hi, I'm really sorry about my outburst today"

I smirk, "did your mother make you say it"

"No, I just really felt bad. I hate people seeing my lame sides"

"You want to come in?"

"Yes please. I have no one to play with and all my brothers are super annoying"

I move aside and she comes in. I shut the door behind her as she awkwardly makes her way to the sofa.

"You're honestly better than your brother"

"Did he hit on you?"

"I guess I can call it that. He's seems really confident about himself", I giggle.

"He says he has a thing for older women", she makes a face, "so disgusting"

She scoffs and she opens the box before taking out two cupcakes out and handing one to me.

"Thank you" I say and take a bite,there are so good, "who baked them?"

"I did" she smiles.

"Nice and a good baker, a really good combination"

"My brothers don't think so, they think I'm too whiny"

"I'm sure they love you so much"

"I highly doubt. Do you have many brothers?"

"Actually, I just have one"

"So it's just you and your brother?"

"I have two younger sisters, Faye and Quinn"

"I really love that name"

"Which one?" I manage to mumble with a mouth full of cupcake.

"Quinn, I always wished that was my name but I got violet"

"Violet is a very pretty name"

"My crush doesn't think so—ugh—boys are stupid. He only likes 'jessica'" she sighs

I almost choke on my cupcake, "boys really are stupid"

"Including your mate and your son?" She chuckles.

"My mate is a big baby not a boy and my son is a big alphas and the most precious little man in the whole world"

"How does having a mate feel like?"

"It's wonderful" I smile at her.

"I'm pretty sure that jasper is my mate"

"Who is that?"

"My crush that only likes jessica"

"Piece of girl to girl advice—"I lean towards her, "—if he doesn't want you,leave him"

"I keep on saying that but I keep falling for him like a dinosaur on roller skates"

"How old are you to be thinking about this?" I chuckle.

"I'm old enough"

I raise my brows at her.

"I'm thirteen" she sighs "but I believe in love"

I'm laughing at how defensively cute she's getting, "you have your mate, you can definitely wait for him"

A knock on the door cuts our conversation short, I open the door to see Isaac leaning on the door frame with a toothpick in between his lips.

"Here to pick you up for dinner babe"

"Isaac she has a mate and child"

Isaac rolls his eyes and enters my room, "does this look like he face of a man that cares" he deadpans at Violet.

"I finally found a friend who relates to me and you're not going to take her away from me"

They argue back and forth for a while and I smile at them. Javier stirs and I look in his direction,he sits up and groggily rubs his eye.

"Great, now you've woken him up" I say as an excuse to get Violet and Isaac out of my room. They both had apologetic looks on their faces and it took a lot to keep a serious face.

"Out both of you" I say and shut the door. I smile and shake my head before walking towards Javier.

"You okay?" I chuckle and try to use my fingers to comb through his hair.

He just sticks out his bottom lip out and leans for a hug. I pull him loser and hug him tighter.

"Don't you want to eat?"

That seemed to get him up real quick, he nods his head and struggle to get down from the bed. I take him to the toilet where he washes his face, then we leave.

Violet is waiting for us outside, "sorry for waking you up", she apologizes to Javier but he takes her hand, "food", he simply says and she laughs.

"Does he always speak like this?"

"Oh no—when he eats and gets his energy, you'll be begging him to stop talking"

"I could play with him all night,I don't mind and my little cousins are also coming over"

She leads us downstairs to the dining room. Dinner had already started and there was mild chattering going round the table. I sit next to violetta which is opposite Isaac and he wiggles his brows at me.

I spoon food onto Javier's plate and they thoughtfully place a plastic spoon for him which I hand to him before serving food for myself.

Javier already gained his energy and stole the hearts of everyone on the table with his adorable stories except Isaac who seems to see Javier as his competition.

"He's so cute. Max will love him" Luna minette said as a man in a suit enters the room.

"Alpha, Lunas, Miss Maxine has arrived"

He hardly finishes his sentences when three kids run into the dining room. A hearty laughter follows and soon a platinum blonde haired lady walks in.

"Ahhhhh max so good off you to join us"

"this is Luna odetta that I was talking about"

Her blue eyes land on me and she smiles, "nice to meet you"

"Who's this?", the little girl exclaims and Javier smiles at her.

"I'm alpha Javier"

"Alpha? isn't that what uncle Harry calls himself"

"That's what my mom and dad call me"

"Cool" she says as she looks at him in awe.

And he's stolen her heart too.

The two boys don't pay attention to Javier,they just go straight to Theo and Leo.

"Kids come over here" she says and the three kids run to her. She places them on their seat and serves them food before sitting and serving herself.

I caught max staring at me all through out dinner but I brushed it off as common curiosity. She conversed with everyone so well and after dinner when alpha Harry and Luna minette wanted to discuss with me, she was invited to.

"First and for most Luna odetta,you need to know something"

"Is it serious?"

"No. On the contrary,I think this will be good news to you" Luna Nina squeals.

"Maxine?"

I look at the blue eyed woman and she smiles at me, "would you believe me if I told you that I'm your sister"
