Becoming a disciple

Fei Hong felt weak and power drained he fell to his knees, anger flashing in his dark pupils but he didn't utter a word to the person who stood before him pointing a silver blade at his face.

"For once, will you stop acting stubborn and get yourself a disciple."

"I told you already." Fei Hong said. "I want nothing to do with the immortal's up here." he wasn't going to let himself get intimidated by his father.

The emperor of Yiran kingdom has grown tired of his son's stubborness and had only one choice left.

"Since you won't listen, you'll be sent to earth in a place where no one will find you, even if they do, they'll run away cause I'll turn you into a weak dragon and you will remain on earth untill you find a disciple who is willing to help you!"

He stretched his palm towards Fei Hong and a white light shun from it blinding the room, once it died, there wasn't any sign of Fei Hong.

.....

A lovely town in jingnia, Yu Yan crouched next to the flower herbs while ranting to herself.

"It's Yu Yan do this, Yu Yan do that, don't they ever get tired of bossing me around, that crazy uncle of mine and his witch of a wife, sometimes I feel like running away...." she kept ranting to herself while picking the herbs like a six years old girl who got scolded for something, if miracles where real it could possibly change her lifetime.

A sudden light shun from the sky catching Yu Yan's attention, she gazed curiously at it, it looks like it's heading to jingnia, was it a shooting star?, she felt her own words where silly, there couldn't be a shooting star during day time.

She kept gazing at it untill her big brown eyes grew even bigger, wait, why was it heading towards her direction?, that clearly isn't a shooting star, what in the world is that?!.

She screamed and grabbed her basket running out of the way as it crash landed on the soft grass.

Fei Hong landed hard but the good part of being an immortal was he hardly gets hurt, he realized he was down to earth but he clearly wasn't in his human form any longer, he had turned to a beautiful white dragon but remained weak and couldn't move a bone.

Unless someone shows up and gets him out of this state, he wondered if anyone was going to show up any time soon, even if they did, they'd probably run away or get him killed.

He scoffed at his last statement, like he could easily be killed, his father wants a disciple, he'll give him one alright.

Yu Yan peeped from behind a tree, she glanced at what had fallen as the smoke slowly faded but her big eyes grew even bigger while staring at the beautiful white dragon which remained weak as it laid on the soft grass.

Clearly she had the chance to run off but she didn't, finding it strange for a dragon to end up here.

"Dragons really exist?!"

She slowly stepped out from her hiding spot, although frightened, she moved even closer taking each step slower than the other.

Fei Hong gazed at the girl who was slowly heading towards him while clutching her hands tightly to her gown, where did she come from?.

Yu Yan had gotten close to the dragon but it didn't move and she wondered why?, the dragon in front of her was actually really pretty and quite huge too, she crouched down beside it, it doesn't look like it's going to harm her in anyway at least neither was it in a defensive mode.

"I wonder what happened to you." she let out her shaky hands wanting to stroke the dragon but it tensed up, she withdrew her hands immediately, no Yu Yan, you have to let it know you mean no harm at all.

She mustered the courage and let out her hands. " I'm not going to hurt you, I mean no harm at all, I just want to help."

Fei Hong kept his dark gaze on her, watching her fair hands move closer wanting to touch him, she closed her eyes tightly praying to not get bitten by it but when her hands slowly touched the dragon's body, she opened one eye to confirm if it was actually her hand before opening her second eye, she stroke the dragon with such gentility, Fei Hong felt at ease enjoying the feeling of her smooth hands, she wasn't running and that surprised him most.

"It's okay pretty dragon, how did you end up here?, if anyone see's you, they might not spare you, jingnia is not a nice place, you need to go back to where you came from."

Fei Hong made way for her to view a necklace which had broken in two around his neck.

Yu Yan could sense the dragon was trying to tell her something, she glanced at the broken necklace which hung around it's neck, she stared at it.

"You want me to fix your necklace?" she asked but her hands has already gone to work as she placed the broken pieces of an emerald stone, it fixed in one piece, little lights oozed out from the necklace and surrounded Fei Hong, she moved away crawling backwards, each light covered Fei Hong, it was so blinding Yu Yan had to block her eyes while looking away, what was happening?.

The light finally died, Yu Yan's eyes averted to the dragon but to her surprise, there wasn't any dragon but a young looking man, she gazed at him like a descendant who fell from heaven.

He was tall, slim and with long silver white hair cascading down his back, his beautiful dark eyes looked alluring and the same time looked empty.

His beautiful dark eyes looked enticing as his long dark lashes raked over her, he raised a pretty eyebrow like the result wasn't what he expected.

Yu Yan couldn't understand what happened and how it all took place, where was the dragon and who was this beautiful man and how did he get here?!.

"W..... who are you?, where's the dragon?"

"What's your name?" he asked blatantly ignoring her question.

"I'm not telling untill I Know who you are." she stated clearly.

"I'm an immortal master, you saved me and from now on, you're going to become my disciple."

Yu Yan felt her head got tossed with a stone, immortal master?!, the.... that means... they actually exist?, but she doesn't want to become a disciple to anyone especially with someone so handsome, she'll never focus and he'll regret having someone like her for a disciple.

"May I kindly decline?, to tell you the truth white haired man you've got the wrong person."

He gazed at her, did she just call him white haired man?, she went on.

"You wouldn't want someone like me for a disciple, I'm the last person to think of ever training in this world, uhmmmm...."

She snapped her fingers and her eyes brightened. "Find someone much better okay?, I only came here to pick herbs but couldn't stop myself from helping the dragon."

"Well that's a mistake you obviously can't take back, you helped the dragon which makes you my disciple from now on."

He had such an addictive deep voice, how can someone be so perfect?, but yet again, she really doesn't want to be a disciple to someone.

"How about an exchange?" she said in a low thin voice.

"There's no such thing as exchange in this, you're coming with me!"

In a split second, he pulled her close and carried her in his arms, she was left awestruck her basket of herbs fell from her hands.

He gazed down at the girl he had in his arms as her big brown eyes held nothing but look of astonishment, why does he feel strange having her in his arms?.

He shrugged it off and leapt into the sky making Yu Yan scream as she buried her face in his chest.

"What are you doing?"

She slowly moved away and before her where floating white clouds, she glanced down to see her town looking small before her eyes, she screamed again burying her face in his neck, it was starting to get him annoyed, what is wrong with this girl!.

"Slow down!, I'm scared of height's." she made a baby sound like she was going to cry any minute, they're in the air right now, how does she expect him to slow down?!

"Just keep your eyes closed." he said, Yu Yan closed her eyes tightly.

Fei Hong shook his head hopelessly and drifted off into the clouds.
