Evolving

Noah just looked on puzzled by the message. He thought that since it had been well past a day his system would reset, but the message in front of him said otherwise. He was now more than excited due to this news. His best skills like aura explosion need him to be in somehow proximity to his opponent and extensiveness needed time and concentration. This was far his most offensive skill set.

He looked around and saw that everyone in the dorm was still asleep but he needed to be completely safe and hidden, so he went to the bathroom in his section, he then tried to activate his skill and a flame engulfed his hand, his eyes once again went a brighter orange and his hair got tiny sparks.

"Kastiel, what exactly was that place that I was transported to," he asked remembering his past anger, "and who was that person you took shape of, and how were you completely unharmed were as I had to fight and~" he was cut off before Kastiel could speak. "Would you keep calm" Kastiel replied tired of the endless question?

He let out a sigh before continuing. "You were transported to the Fire Realm, the beast you fought was a low-grade beast meaning that you are incredibly weak if you were troubled by such a beast" he paused before continuing, "the figure of the man you saw was indeed me, but you are not yet at the required level to learn all about that," he said firmer than before.

Noah had long forgotten about the quest and was now reminded that he now had 3/4 days he had had before. "Does time in The Fire Realm correspond directly with time in this Realm?" he asked thinking of a solution? "You are the one who has control over that" Kastiel replied. Noah nodded and finished his bath. Looking in the mirror, he could see something had changed, his body had become a bit more muscular and his jawline a bit more defined. "What in the living hell," Noah thought. "I'm sure you understand the statement handsome as hell" Kastiel replied bluntly before going quiet once again.

Noah ignored what he had said and went to his bedroom, checking in the closet, he was thankful that he had more than 10 pairs of military wear, his last one didn't make it. Once fully dressed Noah checked the time and saw that it was 6:15 AM and he knew that the gauging tests would be today at 8:00 AM so he needed to train his new skills. "Kastiel transport me to the fire Realm," he said. His body suddenly warped into another dimension.

"For every one hour in the Fire Realm, only fifteen minutes shall pass here," he told Kastiel.

Noah now noticed the same hell as the place he had been in before, his teacher once again materialized. "Let's begin," he said with a sinister smirk that made Noah feel uncomfortable. A couple of low-grade beasts started charging at Noah, he started jumping from one to the other sending fire to the center of their souls causing them to cry out in agony. They came coming again and again and by the time the first hour was done, Noah had defeated over 50 low-grade beasts and attained 50 soul fires. They saw satisfying to him like an addictive drug but he made sure to store some for later for the gauging tests in case he got injured.

For the next 3 hours, Noah was fighting a higher low-grade group of beasts but was still weaker than intermediate beats. He could only handle three though for even though they were weaker than Intermediate beasts, they were still stronger than low-grade beasts.

That was the last higher low-grade beast that Noah defeated. he was exhausted and couldn't wait to see the rewards that he reaped. According to the system, he had leveled up twice and was on the brink of leveling up to level seven, all he had to do was fight an intermediate beast, he would get a crystal that could give him the gear he could normally only get when he reached level 10. He absorbed a soul fire from one of the Higher low-gradee beats and felt his stats increase, in addition to that, his strength was now 14 and he could feel his body getting stronger, all his stats had been replenished, and was going for his last fight.

The intermediate beast was tougher than it sounded, for the last one and half hours, Noah had been taking blows.

The Beast had a body of a gorilla except it was as tall as a building with 3 Floors and like every other beast, had flaming bones and no flesh. Now was low on HP and absorbed another soul fire. His physical strength had returned but he was mentally exhausted as he couldn't even think of a proper plan of attack.

He had one last resort and that was to use his fire flame skill but at proximity, he jumped on top of a rock and put to use his agility points. He skipped over 10 meters high and landed on the beast's thigh, he then used aura explosion to completely demolish the beast's thigh. It let out a scream before leaning in the process of falling, taking that chance, Noah jumped again and landed on its head, he let out all the flames he could spare to burn the beast but it still wouldn't burn. Noah then started charging himself with soul fire and used the fire he was getting from them to produce more flames. Eventually, the beast burnt, and Noah was exhausted, he had used up all the soul fires in his fights and was drained.

As he fell to the ground he saw something come out of the ashes, a soul fire, and a beast crystal. This was like a light in the darkness at this point. He slowly walked over, coughing and panting due to a lack of oxygen. He put his hand out and absorbed the soul fire.

Noah felt a warm sensation take over his whole body and could feel his stats growing and him becoming stronger. When he could stand again, he walked over and saw a red glow in the beast's ashes., it was the crystal. He picked it up and crashed it. The dust was then inhaled and Noah saw the new message appear in front of him.

"Of course," Noah said with excitement.

"Evolve?, Does that mean that I might become some extra celestial being", Noah thought excitedly. "Unfortunately, no You will become stronger than some of your race but in My Origin, you will be taking baby steps" Kastiel explained happily to take away his joy.

"Will this be painful?" Noah asked. "Of course not" Kastiel replied. Noah then said yes ready to evolve.

"It is going to be extremely painful," Kastiel said with a grin. "Wait~" Noah stopped once a sharp pain went through his whole body. It felt like millions upon millions of pins were stack to his body. He let out a scream and started rolling on his back trying to make it stop but to no avail. After what seemed like an eternity but was 5 minutes, the pain stopped and a nice sensation spread through his body calming him.
