On the other side of the stadium stood a team which had been severely defeated yet no one even knew what had happened. The team that which consisted of the victors were just as clueless as of what had happened, all except a particular brown-haired boy, Conley, he stood there enjoying the confusion on everyone's face as he casually walked back to his sit while awaiting the next match.
Word travelled fast and soon, everyone's lips only had one subject, not even the teachers or soldiers knew what had happened. Conley looked around casually searching for his assignment, he spotted the boy with his team seemingly lost in his thoughts. "I don't see why the Official wanted me to keep an eye on him, in fact, he doesn't even seem to have anything interesting to him" Conley thought puzzled and he was technically right, Noah was a boy who normally kept to himself and always seemed to want to be alone and never socialized but everyone had secrets, that's why Conley wasn't going to leave the case unless he got answers.
He had taken care of the other team so easily, to be honest, it was a boring experience, he had already seen this kind of thing before, the military just wanted to spot weak spots in powerful students incase they become a problem in the future, putting it all under the mask of attaining classes at knowing ranks, they already knew all of this, Conley wasn't even bothered as he was already covered for by the government.
He continued searching the room but was seemingly bored by the situation and decided to know more about his assignment while he waited for his next match. He used his ability once more as everyone was frozen in place as he walked ever so proudly towards Noah.
This was the message Noah so before he couldn't even move an inch of his body, although he was literally defenceless, he was still able to see and his mind could process everything properly, he saw the boy from the previous day move towards him among all the frozen people.
"I was right, there is nothing special about you" Conley said in disgust. Little did he know that his victim was seeing and hearing every word properly. Conley pressed the boy's watch putting some unknown code in the boy's watch. There he saw Noah's information and why he had been being kept an eye on. He then reset the watch hiding any of the information.
Noah watched as the boy put in the code and all his personal information showed up on the tech screen sourced by the watch. The boy reset the watch and walked away back to his seat. Suddenly, everything unfroze and Noah was able to move his body again, he acted normal so as the boy wouldn't suspect anything. He now knew he had to be careful with every move as he was watched by this unknown person who, by the looks of it, appeared to be very strong.
Althea looked at the person besides her with curious eyes, he looked as if he was trying not to make something noticeable, he was already standing out because of his orange eyes. Her green eyes were now glowing with determination to know more information about this boy.
Noah had now realized that he had worse problems that this and decided to put them off for later, right now, he needed a comfortable situation at this skill and the only way to attain said goal right now was getting a high rank. He had remembered that he had attained two more skills from his level up, aura extension and fire summon although only one of those skills was useful as it was the only one related to his flames, fire summon, he could hold down his opponent for two seconds giving him enough time to strike, it was a short time but this was his best shot.
"Teams prepare for your next match" A soldier announced firmly. Noah now had a lot more confidence that he would win this match but that was about to be tested.
