5. Magic?
"It looks like she does not need anything for now," Maria said. "Keep an eye to her. You all know what will happen if something happens to my precious daughter." As she said those words the maids in front of her started to shiver, except one of course. Which was the head maid Lilly. She had long black hair, and she looked like she was in her late 60's. She had been working under this family for 30 years now, and she understood how everything worked around here.
When Liz looked at the head maid she was surprised because when her mother talked like this even her own daughter which was herself was scared of her. But it was not the fear he felt in his past life when he was surrounded by a group of a gang. It was something else and Elizabeth couldn't figure out what was the deal with her. She just called herself dumb in her mind and didn't give it much thought.
This family had its own secrets that Liz did not know. Her parents are high ranked nobles an most people want them dead just because they get all the attention from the king and rule over them. There were some rumors of their bloodline having stronger abilities that the royal families. Which made even the king and his family to be slightly scared of them. But instead of wanting to get rid of them like other nobles the king got them on his own side. He befriended his own enemy and now Light Kingdom is known as the strongest one in the whole map.
And since they were a little to strong no one wanted them t have a child, which would just get stronger and become a new threat to them. Every noble wanted to avoid this situation, which led them to giving birth to the child deep in the forest.
Which was a success, they managed to hide from the assassins. They managed to give birth to Liz without any problem. After a few weeks they were going to leave this place to go back to their castle.
Meanwhile Liz was playing with her toys in her tiny bed that was designed for babies. Even though playing with stuff like this stuff would just bother someone that was a teen in their past lives, it did not bother Liz the slightest. Instead she enjoyed the toys they brought to her, (Because she did not have the chance to even relax like other kids back in her past life.) even though she had a little problem trying to accept the fact that she has turned into a girl. It was reality and she could not go against it.
As she was playing with her toys, she was observing the system. She no longer had access to the [Quests] tab, She thought that after the system saw her improve this much after just being born, it decided to turn it off. It was the easiest explanation, right now Liz did not want to think much about new stuff, and just enjoy her new life.
She decided that she would do her best to get on her mothers good side. Now that she thought about it she has not seen her father today. 'Maybe he is busy hunting or something.' Liz thought.
While the system didn't allow Liz to use the quests log, she had already learned how to cultivate her magic. She did every step, and started cultivating. At first when she just began doing it she felt like this was just a waste of time. But after doing it like, for 25 minutes straight. She felt something inside her grow. She did not hate the feeling so she continued. All the maid passing by thought that she had already fallen asleep. So they started taking the toys away and putting a light blanked on her. Liz could not feel a single thing, because this cultivation method required her to cut the ties with the reality in progress.
After about 3 hours Liz got distracted by a familiar sound, and stopped cultivating.
*Ding Ding Ding Ding*
"It looks like these were here for a while now, since i was to deep in my thought i did not hear it before. Lets check them out."

Liz was shocked because she was able to force the system to open the skill tree. She never thought that she could do something like this. And one more thing was changed that Liz realized. Which was her [ENERGY] stat being unlocked. And it had 1 point in it.
"I mean if I can get stronger right after being born, i got no comments on this system." Liz started laughing, which alerted the maids. They came towards her checking on what happened, when they saw her awake they called the head maid in there. She had the most experience when it came to taking care of children. Which was the reason why Maria trusted her a lot.
Liz was confused by what was happening. She thought that maids would leave her alone after seeing her 'sleep' this was not what she was expecting. "Did they wait here the whole time?" She thought to herself. Liz was not used to being treated like this because of her past life so she did not know ow to fact. "Wait a second. Since I am still a baby they would consider everything I do as if it is normal. I just have to watch out for my parents."
"I see you are awake little princess." After saying those words the head maid raised her hand and clapped a few times t gather the attention of other maids. Ready the food for the lady." Everyone started to move. Some were making the food together, some were getting the other bed ready for Liz to eat in it. Other were holding napkins and were ready for the worst case scenario. They moved in a flash. And without realizing Elizabeth was put on the bed that was designed for eating. Then 4 maids came and stood right behind the head maid. Each of them had a bottle of milk in their hands. Head maid checked the temperature of each bottle and chose one of them she then held the bottle towards Liz and seeing the bottle was approaching her mouth Liz opened it and started to drink the milk. "This tastes good. I never got t drink hot milk in my past life." And the head maid removed the bottle from her mouth once in a while so that she could empty the milk in her mouth and catch her breath. "This lady knows how to handle a child. I wonder why my mother is not doing this. Perhaps she is busy?"
And right after drinking the milk, she was put down on her usual bed and started playing with her toys. And at that moment a loud bang could be heard and a man in black clothes barged in the room. The block clothes covered everything of him, just leaving his eyes out.
"What the?! Is this an assassin?!" Liz started crying as the assassin killed some of the maids that were in the room. After killing 5 maid right in front of Liz she charged towards her. And as he was about to kill her a long sword came through his left ear and came out from his right, piercing the head of the assassin.
"No one can hurt you when I am around!" The big figure in front of her said. When she saw that it was her father that saved her, instead of crying she started laughing the second she saw her. "What? The baby is unaffected by all the blood in here?" The guy thought to himself. "Hohoho. It looks like your really are my daughter!"
