6. Death?
The blood was dripping from the sword and the man was lying dead on the ground with a huge hole in his head.
'Huh? I am not scared anymore?' Brian came closer to Liz and carefully observed her, and picked her up. He switched from someone that just killed a man to a goofy father. "Peek a boo". Even though Liz welcomed the baby toys with both her hands, something like this was just, embarrassing. But still she did not want to get on their bad side. Seeing her father kill someone without even hesitating corrected her theory even more. This family was giving her weird vibes, and they were not to be messed with.
She smiled back at her father and raised her hands trying to touch his face just like how any other child would do. 'So cute!' Brian thought to himself. At that moment guards came rushing into the room.
"S-sir." They all got on their knees. "Shut up!" Brian shouted at the guards. "All of you had one job! To protect the kid," As he said those words he grabbed his sword. "Should I start by cutting all your limbs off one by one?" At that moment blood lust was spread in the whole room.
"What? What active skill? Perhaps I got it when I saw the assassin die right in front of me. I head several dings but I had no time to check them out since my father was right in front of me and I had to deal with him first.
And with 'Fear resistance' activated, for some reason Liz was no longer scared because of the blood lust in the air. She then looked at the soldiers who were shivering in fear. She knew that after killing that assassin there was a chance of something bad happening to the soldiers.
'Since he likes me, I think this one will work on him.' And right at that second, before Brian could do anything Elizabeth started crying, which put him in a panic estate. He did not know how to deal with babies and he did not want anything to cause her problems as well.
The blade family always had a son born into their families. So a girl being born to their bloodline after thousands of years shocked everyone. Some called her curse, and some called her blessed by the gods. But there was something that no one knew expect the Blade family. Which was the meaning before a female child being born into their family. 'It would be the day the savior would be born.'
"What does she want?" Brian was in a compelete panic state. 'Oh come on.' Fake crying was starting to annoy Liz as well. Brian raised his sword saying "Is this the cause?" At that moment Liz saw an opportunity. She increased the sound of her crying. Right after seeing that his daughter was crying because of his sword he threw the sword away, hitting a wall and shattering it a little. 'Oh damn, is this man a gorilla or something? That's not your everyday knight.' Right after Brian got rid of the sword Liz stopped crying.
"I see! After all you were scared of the sword. Now, don't worry I got rid of it." Brain looked around the room and realized how messed up it was. "Call maid and tell them to ready a new room for her! And go back to your positions, I will deal with you people after this."
'What an angel!' Every soldier in the room was thankful to Liz, she just managed t calm down the monster in front of them and safe their lives. 'We owe you one.' Soldiers left the room as soon as they could, then the head maid entered the room. Bowing her head down, she said. "New room for the baby is ready. And alot more guards will be assigned to protect her." Brian looked at the cute creature in his arms and said. "Order everyone to get ready. We will be leaving this place in 2 days. I can't let my daughter spend a little longer time in a place like this. She must have the best of anything.
'What the? Did the gods feel bad for me and send me to a place where i could get everything I wanted?' Liz was shocked, which was normal for someone that was homeless and starved in the streets. What she just heard made her happier than ever, she always wanted to live a life in luxury.
As she was being carried to a new room she felt a strong energy leaving her body.
'Oh! This skill, i forgot to check it out earlier.' Liz opened her status

"Haaaa, This is quite useful, I didn't even feel a thing when this was activated, instead I felt like my mind was stronger than ever.'
"We have arrived my lord." Head maid informed Brian and opened the doors, it was a room that looked exactly the same like the last one. "Ugh, this place is hopeless. Send out a order telling everyone that we will be leaving in the morning. I can't even imagine how my daughter would feel in a place like this. Its just like the last one." After thinking for a while. Brian looked at Liz in the face and smiled. "Mommy is not around so why don't you sleep with daddy?" 'What does he even mean? I can't even answer anyways.' But this gave something away, 'Where is my mother? I thought she would be the first person i would see after my father. I guess she left this place and went over to that so called castle.' Liz was not sure what a castle was, but he could imagine something like it, Something that is big, full of luxuries and people around that will help you at everything. It sounded like a place in heaven.
Liz started smiling and moving her hands just like before. "Alright then! Lets go."
They soon arrived at a big room that had a huge bed in the middle. Liz carefully observed the room. And a stone that she had seen earlier this morning caught her eye, it was not exactly the same oe but it looked a lot like it.

'What the?!' Liz's soul almost came out of her body, 'D-D-D-Demon?! I knew weird stuff existed in this world, but I never thought it would e this extreme. And It is here in this weird house that my parents don't even like, does that mean there are things even greater than this stone in the castle?'
Brian noticed Liz looking at the purple stone on the wall. "Are you interested?" Brian asked smiling, " I know you cant understand or anything but Its something useless so don't think to much about it."
And with that Brian put Liz down on a special bed for kids that was right next to his. 'Was he waiting for me?' Brian gave her a big smile, "Good night". 'Well i wont think too much about it. Good night bro."
