Day 11: “Mommy, Please Pick Me Up. I’m Scared...”

Since Zhao Mingxia has given the permit for participating in this mission, I, Xun Jinyun, went back to Yangjiang village along with Li Xiang, Liao Yan, and our beloved engineer, Qi Mo. The four of us rode a horse to reach the destination, thanks to our previous experience of riding a horse. I no longer felt nauseated when riding one.

"General, we almost reached the destination. What's the general's order?", Liao Yan said magnificently as if he was a true knight.

I looked at Qi Mo beside me, she had an admiring gaze towards Liao Yan. For the first time, I had the impression she is indeed a human.

"It's getting dark which means the event will begin shortly, you, follow me. As for Xun Jinyun and Qi Mo…", Li Xiang looked at the two of us, "What will you do?",

"Since it's getting dark perhaps we will be staying at Yangjiang inn.",

"I agree.", Qi Mo nodded her head which was kind of adorable.

Qi Mo and I went separate ways from Li Xiang and Liao Yan. Actually, we didn't mean to go to the inn, but to the desert where Liao Yan and I were transmigrated. We brought our horses to the exact point where we first arrived. Qi Mo had brought her machine, something like a radar to detect any singular energy. We get off the horses and walk by foot to seek any singular energy nearby. However, after an hour of searching, there is barely any sonar wave detected.

"Just like in my case, there was barely any wave here.", Qi Mo said disappointedly, "Perhaps something that brought you here might work.",

"You mean like an item?",

"Yes.",

"Then, follow me.",

The two of us got on the horse again and headed towards an empty house near the village. Surprisingly, despite all those bandit rides and thievery, our bicycles are still there. Although, the bicycles were covered with dust and the tires were in a bad shape.

Suddenly, Qi Mo's weird invention produced a sound.

"Is the machine broken?", I asked.

Qi Mo checked her machine and she let out a big smile on her face, "My machine detected an energy here!", she pointed at me and Liao Yan's bicycles.

"You mean, our bicycles are the ones who sent us here?",

"Yes and no.",

"Give me a definite answer!",

Qi Mo propped her chin and explained, "Jinyun, the one who sent us here are the energy's singularity, it could open a different dimension and time. Which is what we are all called 'transmigrated'. Being thrown into another unknown world and timeline is even more dangerous than the one we have transmigrated in.

In the end, we brought the two bicycles with our horse. I feel sorry for the horse and patted its head, however, they didn't seem to mind it, perhaps it was not as heavy as it looks. However, in the middle of our way to the inn, we found an injured girl laying on the ground. I got off the horse and looked at her wound, I shook the girl's shoulder and got no response. I took my medicinal bag and was intending to wrap the girl's wound with a bandage. However, the girl suddenly awoke, pointed a knife close to my neck, and stared sharply.

"Drop your weapon!",

Suddenly, I heard Li Xiang's voice from behind and lowered my guard down. The girl took the opportunity to hit me from behind and suddenly my vision went dark. After that, I don't know what happened, but I hope nothing happens to my bicycle because it's expensive.

The moment I opened my eyes, I suddenly met someone else's eyes. The latter felt surprised and fell back. I tried to move my hand but I couldn't, I looked below me, it turns out my hands had been tied tight. I tilted to the young girl who was looking at my handsome face while I fell unconscious.

"Who are you and what do you want from me?",

The girl shook her head and lowered her head, she didn't speak a single word.

I looked around, apparently, it was some kind of a hut, there were few kitchen essentials around and a rug on the floor.

"So, you're awake.",

Another girl suddenly entered the hut, I had my guards up and looked at the same girl who hit me earlier. Unlike the Han people in this era, she dressed in leather and black clothes. Could it be… Hun people?!

I looked over at the girl next to me, she's also wearing the same leather, although the other girl had a fierce expression, this one has a meek look on her face.

"What do you want from me?", I said as I glared at the fierce woman before me. The woman threw a 'tch' and punched me,

"I'm the head chief here, show some respect.",

The girl next to me suddenly stood before me, blocking my vision of the fierce woman.

"Sarantuya, you don't have to defend this guy! He's one of those Han people who killed our parents!",

Sarantuya shook her head, her hair shook along with her head, she seemed like a puppy shaking its cute head obediently. I've been thinking that my guess is right, this girl is dumb. Although, she had a beautiful and soft look, it's a shame that she couldn't talk.

Sarantuya nodded silently and I was shocked to the core.

"You shut up, who lets you talk?!", the fierce woman pointed her blade towards my neck again. Sarantuya panicked and kept shaking her head. I have no idea how these sisters communicate with each other, but the other one does seem to comprehend it.

"Be grateful that my sister had taken a liking on you. I was planning to make you a hostage, since I heard you are the imperial physician.",

I was NOT the imperial physician, I'm just a junior physician and my work was to give advice to the queen.

"It seems worth letting you get married to my sister. I, Narantuya, will watch you closely lest you tried to run away from here.",
