Cold white snow, baby blue sky with clouds elegantly slinking in and out of sight.
Barren lands with no one in sight. The trio was shivering in frigid weather even with the fire heating them, it wasn't enough.
They were extremely alert but they didn't notice that something or someone was creeping behind.
They heard a huge roar and spun around to see a huge snow-white bear with icicles sticking out its back, baring its pearly white teeth, glaring with its beetle black eyes.

Connor once again woke up in the cell but he could feel that something was wrong. He heard two voices coming towards him.
When they got closer he realised that they were the voices of Mei and Davies. His mind was racing and tried using his powers but only a little breeze came out of his hands.
He was panicking and wriggling around but to no avail because they were already in front of his cell. Davies waltzed into the dull cell hands clasped, jacked flowing in the air along with his hair.
"Alex and Claire are your enemies and you will do whatever it takes to eliminate them," Davies said but Connor had anticipated this and closed.
What he did not see coming was Davies forcefully opening his eyelids and talking so close to his face that he could feel the spit until Connor repeated the sentence and his eyes turned black.

James leapt high into the air and cut its head off in one hit and its ruby-red blood sprayed in all directions.
It hit the ground deafeningly loud and kicked up snow in all directions and the process got itself partially submerged in the white snow practically indistinguishable from the snow.
"Right, let's get this thing out of the snow," James said
"Why should we, it's not like we can use it," Alex asked
"That's where you're wrong buddy, it's worth a pretty penny, the spikes on its back could be used to forge weapons, the fur could be used as a material to create clothes, really the body of this whole monster is priceless," Alex explained.
They got to work and Claire was creating earth blocks from the ground up, shooting snow out the way and Alex was doing it manually all while James was just lounging around.
"A little help maybe?" Alex asked
"Maybe if you're able to beat me, but we all know what's going to happen if you try," James responded.
Angered, Alex violently kicked the snow away and he hit something hard. He started hopping like a madman while holding his right leg.
"Wait, the only thing hard on this beast was on the back and it fell backwards, so what is it?" Alex thought.
He crouched on the ground and fumbles around with his fingers until he felt it again. He picked it up and saw that it was a crystal with the same colour as the blood of the beast.
Claire looked his way and saw that he was holding something and narrowed her eyes. He noticed and quickly put it in a concealed pocket in his cloak while facing away from her.
He decided that he wouldn't tell the others about this because it might be valuable and they might take it from him.
He dug up as much snow as he could and felt the soft fur of the beast.
He signalled the others and they told him to melt the snow. That option had completely slipped his mind.
When he had melted all the snow and the body was exposed, James picked it up with one hand and using the other, he opened up his cloak in the billowing wind.
It looked like a black abyss that led to nowhere and he tucked the bear into his cloak as if it was as easy as stealing sweets from a baby.
They were walking for several hundred miles, had countless breaks and had finally reached the end of this unforgiving terrain.
The sky was becoming dark.
They had pulled down their hoods and saw that they were atop a cliff, overlooking a forest but about halfway through the forest, there was a circle-shaped clearing that housed a kingdom.
The Capital is right there," James murmured
James grabbed both of their collars and leapt off the cliff.
James landed on his feet in a squatting position all while carrying the both of them over his shoulder.
They walked through the woods with no trouble at all, they had seen a few monsters while heading towards the capital but they crept past quietly to not alert them because they figured that they would travel a lot faster without starting needless altercation and it was becoming night rapidly.
They walked into the clearing and saw a massive stone wall with an enormous gate that was tightly shut.
"At night time, they shut the doors so the monsters can't enter and they can't enter during the day because the gate was open and multiple people, citizens and the army would take care of them. The monsters realised that attacking during the day was ineffective so they stayed in the forest, in the day but no one knows what they do at night so they post extra guards, also people are not allowed to enter from the outside during the night," James explained
"So how're we going to get on when this place is so protected?" Alex asked
"Simple," James said while pointing at the wall.
Alex groaned and climbed up without using his powers because that would arouse suspicion.
James picked Claire up and threw her up to the top. She was about to let out a surprised yelp until she saw one of the guards patrolling the walls and so she quickly clasped her hand over her mouth.
James jumped up and landed quietly next to Claire. Alex continued climbing by using the little crevices in the wall to push himself further up.
He finally got to the top and his fingers were over until someone notice his fingers and stomped on them.
They called for backup all the while Alex was agonising. Alex set the poor soul's foot on fire and ignited his own feet and began flying. Alex stretched out his arm and James grabbed onto his hands and Claire grabbed James's ankle.
They continued flying, but they were in such high altitudes that no one could see them. James saw a castle and directed him to it. They then landed on the rooftop of the castle but almost immediately, a man appeared out of nowhere wearing silver armour, fur around his neck, multiple badges of honour on his chest. He was also quite tall, had tan skin, a huge scar on his left cheek and was quite muscle-bound.
He sprinted towards them wielding the biggest sword Alex had ever seen and James was nowhere to be found.
