Chapter 1 1/3

" A long time ago, a young maiden betrothed to the plantopian king, fell in love with the king of Termorites.

they both tried to secure their love for one another, but her engagement to the king got in the way. though the king loved her so much, he knew her heart wouldn't fully be his and so he forced her to cut ties with the Temorite king. Eventually, as time went on, the maiden fell in love with the king and both had a happy marriage which was blessed with a beautiful baby girl. Unfortunately, the jealousy of the Termorite king grew and he sought many ways to attack plantopia and over throw their king. coincidentally, his Jealousy wasn't the only one after the king. the king's brother, hungry for power, gave away the water stone that kept the Temorites away from plantopia to the Termorite king in exchange for the throne when the king was overthrown. war broke out and the king and queen Fled for their lives as the Temorites were flourishing and succeeding.

The queen and her husband were seized and killed. But a young midwife fled to another universe with the child. a universe called earth.

I am that child,Roselina. And I am back to take my rightful place on that throne"...

"Rose, are you talking to yourself again?".... The midwife in human form, older and in modern clothing, walked in on Rose. a basket of laundry in her arms.

Rose turned from the mirror in shock. she looked like a typical 15 year old teenager. her red hair tied in a loose ponytail. a blue baggy t shirt on black jeans over a pair of vans. A red shirt tied around her waist.

" Lilian"..... she whined.

"I told you not to sneak up on me like that"...

" Am sorry princess".... she chuckled.

"Lilian do I really have to go to school today?"... she walked up to her. A persuasive smile plastered on her cheek.

"yes. you do need to go to school today"..... Lilian replied, wiping the smile off Rose's face.

"But my powers would get me into college right?"...

"not at all, princess. You need your brains for that and we all know you don't think a lot.".....

"Lilian please?"... she begged her. holding unto her right arm.

" oh no, go down for breakfast. the bus will be here soon".....she said in a serious tone before walking out on Rose.

Rose scoffed in disappointment, pursing her lips.

"she's such a meanie".....

" bye mum!".....Rose yelled to Lilian before rushing into the bus filled with teenagers.

she looked around for a spare seat but found only one which was beside jumbo, The school's bully that seemed to have a huge obsessive crush on her. He was a chubby brown skinned guy with a Jock's Jacket that read " Tokyo 8" at the back.

she sucked in her pride and gave out a fake smile to him.

"may I have a seat?".....her words sounded heavy as though she was going to throw up.

He smiled uncontrollably at her and then scrambled himself to the side of the bus.

"sure sure sure "... he smirked weirdly.

she sat down, trying hard to hide her uneasiness.

" so how ya doin mis amore"..... he slid back to her.

"Don't call me that"..... she covered the side of her face with her palm.

" you can't hide our love forever ya know"... he chuckled.

"ugh you mean, your love".....she pushed him by the shoulder to the side of the bus.

The bus stopped.

"we're here"... the driver said.

"Adios".... Rose rushed out the bus, Hoping to avoid any other thing Jumbo had to say.

"But__!, Jeez that girl sure doesn't like me "..... he mumbled to himself.

Rose rushed into the class. Everyone else chatted amongst themselves or used their phones. She spotted Joseph, her nerdy Bestfriend sitting at their usual desk. His nose in a book.

"whats good bro".....she said playfully, when she got to him.

"where have you been?".....he asked.

"dont worry about it. Hey do you wanna ditch class and go get some froyo".... she gave off her persuasive smile again.

"ugh".....he sighed .

"come on Joseph, please?"...

"No! how am I gonna get my perfect GPA, if I keep missing classes with you. you may be Mrs control nature, but I need to get into college so, if you don't mind, no thanks".....

"seriously?, you say that all the time like college's a big deal"...she rolled her eyes at him.

"oh my gosh, I didn't realize it wasn't "...he chuckled sarcastically.

"Good morning students"..... a short chubby man with his potbelly sticking out from his white shirt under some brown suspenders that held up his brown pants said.

"ugh, its Mr Greyson, this is gonna be a boring class"..... Joseph complained to himself.

Rose smiled to herself at the sound of his mumbling.

"you wanna go now?"..... she asked.

"fine".....he regretted his agreement.

"but how are we gonna leave now?"...he continued.

"Through the window".....

"What!!"...he raised his tone.

"it's not gonna hurt dont worry"....

she whispered to him as class had already began.

" you may have powers but am still an ordinary human being, WHO DOESNT WANNA DIE!!"...

"just trust me okay?"....she reassured him.

"fine."....he took a deep breath.

"But if I die, am telling the cops you killed me, besides we're 20ft off the ground.".....

she laughed at his nervousness.

he got up and tip toed to the window hoping not to get anyone's attention. he climbed unto it and then jumped out. The class gasped, attracting the teacher's attention.

Rose signaled to them to be quiet and then tip toed too to the window.

she jumped out, leaving the class in total shock. the teacher turned.

"what's with the gasping"....he said in his cranky voice.

a student raised his hands.

"Rose and Joseph just jumped out the window.".....

The teacher sighed.

"go check if they're still alive"...

meanwhile, Joseph screamed with his eyes closed as he fell , Rose falling behind reached towards him. she closed her eyes and opened them and they became glowing green. stems crawled out of her body and grabbed Joseph. two green stems covered in leafs shot out of her back and gripped the wall.

Joseph, noticing that he wasn't falling again, opened his eyes and found himself on the ground in Rose's arms. her eyes still Glowing green with stems wrapped around him. A satisfying smile plastered her face.

"Am I dead?".....he said in a shivering tone.

"Nahhh but am sure your dignity is"....Rose laughed,The stem retreating back into her body. her glowing eyes fading away.
