The Merchant of Souls?

Trudging up to the massive entranceway the party watches as the gate rattles loudly before slowly rising with a creaking groan. Walking through the entrance several of the flightier members jump or scream as the gate crashes back down with a booming clang, the several dozen randomly geared undead in the area zoning into the party and stumbling forward with angry moans. Watching the incoming horde, Tyr slams the lancehead forward on her new weapon, several undead fall over lifeless once more before a roar is heard and a towering abomination trundles forward.

"We've got an elite here. Flesh Golem looks like but could be a dungeon specific undead as well. Three arms, ones holding a meat hook so probably a grappler. Lafey your on crowd control here." Tyr says as a obscenely obese creature charges forward, its body an amalgamation of stitched together corpses made to look like a humanish form.

Floating forward Lafey lets out a low moan, her voice slowly rising in decibel until she finally huffs in a breath of air and releases a melodious shriek towards the regrouping undead. As the noise passes her lips a soundwave of crimson energy flies towards the group and thickened, rotten blood flies into the air as most of the new enemies fall to the ground missing various pieces or entire sections of their body. The only enemy still standing is the abomination, its body lacerated and dripping brackish blood as it slowly limps forward while dragging one of its legs behind it, the knee and everything below it having been turned to a bloody mist from the screech.

"Your right, its definitely stronger than the rest. But not smart I'm guessing since it's still trying at this point. Wonder what else is in this place." Lafey mutters gently before pressing her fingers to her lips and letting out a short whistle, the sound rocketing out as a small clear orb that smashes into the abominations face and disintegrates it along with its shoulders and several inches of chest.

As the group walks to the large corpse to loot it a small creature crawls from the creatures chest, a mixture of snake, bat, and insect it chitters angrily before flying off while still dripping ick. Watching the creature fly off the group jump in surprise as a rustling sound begins to sound from around the corner, an added clanking and banging of metal joining in after a few seconds before an odd sight appears. A small man wrapped in a patchwork of clothing covering his entire body turns the corner. His height barely reaching three feet tall. Golden eyes peer at the group curiously as pitch black pointed ears sprout from between folds of a sky blue cloth wrapped around the creatures head leaving only a small circle for the eyes and possibly a mouth to be seen. A large travel pack rests on the beings back towering over its small stature as odds and ends clack and fall from haphazard placements to land in new places and catch on other stuck items.

"Ah new adventurers! Welcome! Welcome! Gotyr's capital is beautiful this time of year yes? The dead are rising the prices are falling but worry not for even though many of these lowly shops have gone under I have what you need! Bobbets and Bunglers! Cabinets and Cabernets! Come my friends and view my wares! It costs nothing but your very selves to buy!" Greets the creature happily, its voice high pitched and squeaky as it animatedly moves its hands while speaking. Inspecting the creature Tyr grimaces at the description and waves the mortal members away from the creature.

{Boss Name- The Merchant Of Souls Boss Rank-?? Description- Where did the soul merchant come from? What exactly is he? Why does he show up when he does? These are questions asked throughout history as this enigmatic creature appears and disappears at sights of great tragedy. Some call him an omen of misfortune, others a bringer of woe. But the Merchant of Souls is worse than all those things....he is a business man. This creature travels through time, space, worlds, galaxies in search of its next big trade as well as new items to offer. That rusty spoon it sold Typon the Bloodthirster? Once cleaned it was revealed to be a carved vampiric dragon bone granting the man his power. The strange string he gifted the wayward Sally Strings? The legendary garrote wire of the godslayer able to kill even the immortal during assasinations. This merchant is known for selling garbage to travelers but eventually he gets his due back for he trades not in gold or gemstones but the very soul that makes you yourself. Beware the merchant for his smile hides a true evil from beyond.}

"Merchant of Souls we greet you. I am Tyr Vore and these are my fellow dungeon bosses as well as a group of adventurers who volunteered to come here. We do not wish to challenge you or combat you. We wish to move past without viewing your wares. And we wish to only trade these words with you and nothing else." Tyr says seriously as the creature freezes and its eyes squint happily and a pure white smile shines from the darkness of its clothing, fangs and gnashing teeth fitted together perfectly as a high pitched giggle flows from its form.

"Wise beyond your years. I will not force you to take my challenge for you have bested one of the bosses in this level which gives you the right to move forward. But I wish to warn you first. Explore this floor, leave no building unchecked because not all is right here. I was drawn by powerful magic long ago, it promised me a relic only existing rarely and I jumped at the opportunity. Trapped I became, used as a lock to a larger cage. This thing in this place is more evil than the league of merchants or the vilest of demonic pillagers. I may not leave until it is defeated so I will offer you this trade. Defeat whatever is keeping me here and I shall visit your home dungeon and bestow teachings upon one of your followers. Luck and fortune be with you Miss Tyr Vore and company. You'll need it." giggles the Merchant happily as it straightens its back and walks past the group to a nearby alley. Stooping to pick up the meathook the abomination was carrying it nods its head and shoves it in its rages before turning the corner and disappearing with a a distant rustle.

"So...that went better than expected?" Says Tommy uncertainly before an earth shaking roar is heard in the distance.
