Disclaimer - (Cause fanfiction is tricky ground and I hope not to offend the creator of the original story and get sued)

I do not own "Darwin's Game", it belongs to its original creator Flipflops and Shū Miyama. This is only a fanfiction that I was inspired to write by the original work. Please support the official release. Most of the media - such as the art and illustrations, gifs, video's, etc. used in this fanfiction - are from the web. Thus, most of them aren't mine (because I really, really can't draw) unless mentioned. To fit the story, images are also edited by various apps and websites. So they aren't mine, just edited.

Also if you own a picture or Video that I found online, and you either want your name added, or me to take it down. Please contact me and we can talk it out. P.s. I also ask that you do not copy my work and publish it onto any other website.

If you're gonna use my idea, please ask me (If you ask nicely, I for sure, will agree). If I don't contact you within a week, then just assume I'm giving you the all clear and go for it. Just remember to credit me.

I will be writing out scenes even if my Oc isn't in them. As long as she's mentioned, or influencing the characters in some way. Or maybe because it influences the story. This may seem a bit annoying. But that's just how I write. I like to embed my characters into the story line. Because of this, most of the dialogue/scenes will come from the original work.

Kaname wouldn't bring any of his friends or family into Darwin's game, and he definitely wouldn't bring his girlfriend into it.

But what if what he thought was protecting their relationship, was instead slowly and steadily destroying it?

Can he still save it?

Or is it too late?

"Welcome home Kaname!"

Anna walked next to her boyfriend, her fingers scrolling through various posts, until she stopped at one. "Hey Kaname, have you heard about this cool body outline pixel art someones been carving into the ground? It's been popping up everywhere lately?" The Omega asked excitedly, turning her screen around to show the alpha.

"Has it?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Anna hummed, "Hey Kaname, did you know that one of those engraved pixel arts appeared near our apartment?" The blond asked casually.

She hadn't expected her boyfriend to freeze, "It did?"

Seeing his reaction, the omega nodded hesitantly. "I thought it was kind of cool. The blood stains looked a little too real for my liking, but other than that, it reminded me of one of those vintage games."

"You should stay away from it!" Kaname told her.

"Stay away? But why?"

"Just stay away from it, Anna." Kaname glared at her.

The omega froze instantly as every muscle in her body froze as if the word were being carved into her very bones.

Well Kaname's eyes widened as he realized what he had just done.

"Anna-"

"Save it!" The omega cried, tears streaming down her cheeks, running away.

For the first time in their relationship, he had used an Alpha command on her

Where did it all go wrong?

Just Give Me A Reason

By P!nk

Right from the start

You were a thief, you stole my heart

And I, your willing victim

I let you see the parts of me, that weren't all that pretty

And with every touch you fixed them

Now you've been talking in your sleep oh oh

Things you never say to me oh oh

Tell me that you've had enough

Of our love, our love

Just give me a reason, just a little bit's enough

Just a second we're not broken just bent, and we can learn to love again

It's in the stars, it's been written in the scars on our hearts

We're not broken just bent, and we can learn to love again

I'm sorry I don't understand

Where all of this is coming from

I thought that we were fine (oh we had everything)

Your head is running wild again

My dear we still have everythin'

And it's all in your mind (yeah but this is happenin')

You've been havin' real bad dreams oh oh

You used to lie so close to me oh oh

There's nothing more than empty sheets between our love, our love

Oh our love, our love

Just give me a reason, just a little bit's enough

Just a second we're not broken just bent and we can learn to love again

I never stop, you're still written in the scars on my heart

You're not broken just bent and we can learn to love again

Oh tear ducts and rust

I'll fix it for us

We're collecting dust, but our love's enough

You're holding it in

You're pouring a drink

No nothing is as bad as it seems

We'll come clean

Just give me a reason just a little bit's enough

Just a second we're not broken just bent and we can learn to love again

It's in the stars, it's been written in the scars on our hearts

That we're not broken just bent and we can learn to love again

Just give me a reason, just a little bit's enough

Just a second we're not broken just bent, and we can learn to love again

It's in the stars, it's been written in the scars on our hearts

That we're not broken just bent, and we can learn to love again

Oh we can learn to love again

Oh we can learn to love again

Oh that we're not broken just bent and we can learn to love again

The three periods are also intentional - If anyone is confused they are there to show silence.

If all goes according to my plan - the story will start off really fast paced, and then slow down a bit after a couple chapters. I actually wanted to take it slow a bit - but for the storyline to work, I'm going to need to fast forward a couple of the fast forward through the anime - and reach the manga. (But I will honestly try my best to pull the breaks a bit - I'll admit that's mostly just so I can enjoy writing it.) So, sorry about that if it's not your cup of tea.

The prologue was definitely longer than my usuals, but once I started the second scene, I kind of found it hard to stop - so I ended up having to close it off in a really awkward way. Sorry about that.
