price of neglect

Aixers are healer Artelys, we have a whole Artely hospice where we help ourselves recover upon a Logachtige attack

Bixers are hustler Artelys, they do the jobs that require the most physical labor, swiftness and precision, other Artelys do work, but bixers are specialised for delicate or demanding jobs like cutting down the shrooms

Cixers are observer Artelys, they make patrol the place to ensure the quality of everyone's work, and to secure order and organisation.

Trixers are brewery Artelys, they make potions.

Almost all Artelys you've talked to yet are Trixers, including me, other types have different demeanour, so keep that in mind.

And then there's the unlabeled Artelys, they believe you can't only be this or that, that you as an individual need to be shapeless and fluid, be knowledgeable about everything, and do all of it, we started calling them Hyexers, but they got upset, because they said that we just labeled the unlabeled Artelys which negates the whole point of them being unlabeled, we saw having no group as a new group in itself, the group of the outcasts, if you will, but they didn't, so we respect that, Pnomal is an unlabeled Artely, you probably noticed his coldness, that's not all of them, unlabeled Artelys are the only ones whom personalities can greatly differ from one to other. I'll introduce you to Okko soon and you can have a chat with him, he was the first one to come up with a name for the ideology and give it value

-why isn't everyone unlabeled? It seems like it's the most diverse, inclusive, non stereotyped, and fluid thing to be, it's important to be shapeless isn't it?

-of course it is, but groups make work distribution and dynamic upkeeping of the island easier, you know, every group has specific tasks and is expected to do specific things, having the ability to predict what a group will be doing next helps us be more organised,

labels make the group easier to get a hold of,

-but they limit the individual.

What are we? Are we rational or emotional? Are we black or white? Are we what we only aren't or are we all of what we aren't? We're in a place between the extremities submitting to the loud screams of those who chose a path before us and followed it, everyone has been following the people prier to them who chose an extremity, a way to live, a way to think and a way to exist that we forgot we can remain in the middle, or only slightly leaning toward one side, a mind is a spectrum of ideas, not a breeding place for the extreme of every ideology and position, we forgot that the duality of nature is meant to remain coexistent within us and not segregated. What is emotional and rational? What is a man and what is a woman? What is clothing or a hairstyle? And what is, a label?

"Sworvik will be here tomorrow by dawn, we will leave the baskets for him by the ledge. He will take them and go

-where does he go?

-we don't know for sure, some say he just deposits the shrooms in the ocean, he's just another Qyn worker and his only purpose of existence is to be the island's curse, some say he goes to a small island, and whatever he does there is unknown, actually a lot of sworvik is unknown, not just his place in Gwaxyguen, but also him as an entity; is he the only one existing of his kind? What are his powers and weaknesses? We could only tell certain stuff, in those rare times he struck an attack at us, he seemed to only use so little of his potential power, yet still caused so much havoc, we've seen him fire different colors of fire from his mouth, seven colors to be exact, maybe there's more, we don't know, and maybe we're not meant to know.

-I will try to find out

-come again?

-I said I'll try to...

-I heard what you said, it was a rhetorical question.

-I'm failing to see what's wrong with what I said

-well, I'd like to keep an open mind, it's not wrong, just a bit flabbergasting, you're the only one who has the ability to exit the island. However, I don't think it's safe, what if they go to an island that has lots of creatures of their sort, you would be dead in a heartbeat. Consider Gwantavision, it would allow you to see where they go while you're still here.

-didn't you say Gwantavision stops at oceans?

-for us, because we can't cross them. Think of a volcano with a hidden room under, you would not be able to see the room with Gwantavision because if your body was there it wouldn't get past the lava. To summarise, if your body can take the journey Gwantavision will allow your spirit the view. Our bodies cannot pass water and you can't go inside lava, which is why we can't see what's beyond those things.

-oh, so that's how Gwantavision works, it's as if it relocates your body and takes it on the journey to the desired area, if it can take it, it will grant you the view, if not then you don't get to see the place.

-yes, which means you can follow Sworvik, your visionary Gwanta may even be able to ride its back

-my what?

-of course having the ability to teleport around areas in a blink of an eye is a bit overpowered, which is why you can only use Gwantavision four times per day, and also you can't move, for example, let's say I chose to see the ledge right now, I will be at a stationary static position, I can see from that position three sixty degrees, but I cannot zoom in or move, whatever place you chose is the one you'll remain on, that "you" staying is called your visionary Gwanta, the cosmic body-free pair of eyes Guenera rocks grant you, once they're placed, they can rotate, they can't move, unless they're put on a moving object or being, in this case, Sworvik's back. You will really have to time it, giving that the only time you can place them there is when he lands to snatch the baskets"

"You, who are you?

-a new Artely, his name is Alan

-Alan? That's an odd name. Doesn't matter, come here sprinkle some Telydust on my leaf it needs some

-I'll do it Bak"

Orahy fluttered to Bakishlog and provided him with the Telydust. Although Alan is an Artely, he is only one looks wise not functionally, sure he can use the wings because they're a part of the look, but Telydust generators are deep within the soul of the Artely, even learning their magic won't allow him to acquire one, they are unique to Artelys and will be remaining that way.

Orahy swiftly grabbed Alan to an isolated area and spilled a Usrov potion on the ground, so that the fourty meter diameter of theirs is not detected by any Logachtige, then he gave Alan a woven sac filled with Telydust

"We don't have an abundance of Telydust but this should do you in sticky situations to heal whatever you were asked to heal, don't interact with too many Logachtiges and use it wisely"
